Urgency For No Confidence Motion a Coverup For Corrupt Practises?

Suddenly there are hurried defections from the Government Benches to those of the Opposition, urgent searching for more dissentors to join their ranks by the Leader of the Opposition and his' talent scouts' on the lookout for prospective deserters ( not to be confused with Military Deserters! ) apparently covert phonecalls to financial institutions dealing in high profile loans and a general pandemonium behind the bold fronted call to present a No-Confidence Motion, so what seems to be the scramble in aid of ?

The secret seems to lie in the agenda of the MOU between the PA and JVP where all areas of corruption which also include fradulently obtained loans of extremely high value and their recipients regardless of their political leanings or status are to be investigated and the monies recalled. This seems to be a category which may affect many unnamed politicians and in particular those making hurried exits or being ignominiously dumped from their political designations!. There will be no just reward nonetheless for the self motivated greed of these individuals as their corrupt practises are on the verge of being exposed by the relentless pursuit of the PA- JVP Coalition which seems more than justified in their quest.

To some polititians it seems a divine bequest to be elected to Parliament as they seem to somehow carry the misguided belief that misappropriation of funds, obtaining it fradulently and displaying a general attitude of devil may care banditry in how they conduct business is the order of the day quite removed from reality as far as their entitlements are concerned and unfortunately for them, they are about to be exposed and hence the urgency to topple a just Government who will nevertheless withstand the attempt according to statistics and the general political climate where there are more loyal supporters for the PA-JVP Alliance than there are consciencious objectors.

One of the key contributing factors to the pathetic financial state of many Third World Countries is not the lack of a GDP or resources and contrary to popular belief it is in fact the misdeeds of Corrupt Politicians and their genre who systematically bleed the Country of its Financial Reserves and eventualy deplete it beyond repreive and consequently apply for redeeming handouts by large Financial Institutions.Sri Lanka is no exception unfortunately and has a notoriety for corrupt politicians. Many orchestrated coverups take place at this stage and by virtue of their political clout they usually get away unapprehended but not this time around. The dragnet is out and the investigations are about to begin and what better time for the corrupt opposition and its allies to initiate their strategy to bring down the Executors of Justice to save their hides!

The Hand of Justice inevitable, definite and decisive and one which has always prevailed over wrongdoings in any just society and in times of approaching crises the wrongdoers instinctively make a mad dash for freedom at any cost. Is this what the No Confidence Motion Is All About?
