No Deals With Terrorists Regardless Of The Rhetoric!

The Prabhakarans , Bin Ladens and their ilk have no place in the civilized world to utter two faced rhetoric related to peace nor preconditions to peace based on their demands as they have to answer to crimes against humanity and be brought to justice if any semblance of peace is to prevail in Nations torn apart. That the world tolerates them at all is because of the clandestine lives they lead in hiding and the covert media which supports and propagates their broadcast messages while time runs out on them.

The latest proclamation by Prabhakaran on the LTTE's self styled 'Hero's Day' that they are willing to back the Political Party which initiates Peace is a clever tactical move probably in aid of self preservation or a connivance with the UNP now accepted as the LTTE's favourites, hoping for a voter swing which currently appears to be against them and swinging gradually away and the arrogant demand that, bans and proscriptions against them should be removed as a condition and concession, a mere delusion as the International Alliance Against Terrorism has strongly mandated and endorsed the single reality awaiting terrorists which is relentless pursuit, disbanding and ultimate elimination with no pre-conditions!.

In an effort to undermine the intellect and conscience of the Administration this latest proclamation comes from an individual who has masterminded crimes against humanity and perpetrated havoc and destruction to lives and public property at the highest possible level and like his International Counterparts already on trial or previously convicted needs to be incarcerated rather than entering into peace negotiations with as it would otherwise compromise International Law and make a mockery of the Democratic Institution governing the Statutes of the Free World and the freedom of the individual which he has suppressed within his realm for decades.

In his address, nothing has been said about a willingness to lay down arms, denouncing their idealogies and reversing their role as a Terrorist Organization in all sincerity and there is no credibility which can be attributed to someone who has gone back on his false promises time and time again and continued a ruthless surge toward acheiving if not original objectives ( which the LTTE seem to have digressed from) at least an extraction of revenge from the Administration and the Sinhala Community which comprises the Majority, important points to ponder upon.
The danger of extended attrocities as a result of the softening of attitudes towards the LTTE can never be swept under the carpet as a thing of the past bearing in mind that leopards cannot change their spots nor tigers their stripes and dangerous when cornered!!

Conciliation and recourse however is due to the Tamil Community of Sri Lanka which has also suffered and been displaced as a result of terrorism regardless of poor judgement on the part of some of them especially the diaspora overseas, to be supportive of the LTTE as they too have an undeniable right to exist and lead tranquil lives as Citizens of Sri Lanka and peace could only be restored once the terrorist problem is eliminated, dissassociated from the false representations by individuals of huge notoriety who have no claim to be protractors of peace and whose diatribe has very regularly been transformed into violent armed insurrection which he as the leader of the LTTE must atone for.
