Election unto Ealam ?

A.A.M.NIZAM Matara.

Sri Lankans have been forced to face another election on 5th December, due to the unethical attempt made by the UNP and the terrorist proxy parties to grab parliamentary power against the people's mandate. In this unsuccessful attempt millions of dollars, swiftly withdrawn by the terrorists prior to freezing their accounts in Britain, were used to allure a bunch of corrupt politicians in the P.A, the dirty froth of the P.A, that included quota racketeers, castle builders, jungle eaters, and instant millionaires.

The combined opposition which is determined to make every attempt to defeat the government commenced their election campaign in a dual front simultaneously by UNP holding a propaganda meeting in Kandy and LTTE attempting to detonate a suicide bomber targeting the Prime Minister at Narahenpita. Since then many attempts have been made by the UNP and the LTTE to terrorise the voters in many electorates.

The UNP and the Tamil Alliance has formed an unholy communion to grab power that they failed to achieve through the parliamentary coup. Many terrorist collaborators, sympathisers, spies and hirelings are contesting the election as candidates under UNP and Tamil Alliance. Prominent among them are Dr. Jayalath Jayawardene, T.Maheswaran, Chandrasekeran in the UNP camp and Pararajasingham and Sampanthan in the Tamil Alliance.

These terrorist henchmen had openly praised the megalamaniac LTTE leader above all the other Sri Lankan individuals. They advocate for the removal of ban on LTTE, halt the war in the North, lift the ban on goods to Wanni, and recognise the terrorists as the sole representatives of the Tamil community. UNP in its usual spineless dual character role evade the question of its collaboration with the terrorists when it addresses the voters in the Sinhala electorates, and talks of filth, vulgar and fantasies. UNP leader has failed to deny his pet proposal of interim administration for the North-East, agreement for the de-proscription of LTTE and other demands of the Tamil Alliance.

Under these circumstances this is a crucial election where the voters in the South should forget their petty differences and unite as one nation to halt the move being made through this election to establish the groundwork to grant Ealam. A puppet and spineless leader rapaciously hunger for power could betray anyone and anything.
