The President Has Taken A Stand Against The Peace Process With Genuine Concerns For the Nation.

There are alarming signs that all's not well with the Peace Process and its relativity to the unitarity of Sri Lanka courtesy of UNF / LTTE back patting which the President in all wisdom together with the Opposition Parties have begun to notice and take objection to.The questioning by the Opposition spearheaded by the Hon.Lakshman Kadirgamar has stated that in all reality the parallel Governments in the North and North East set up by the LTTE in order to circumvent the Democratically Elected Government which signifies Sri Lanka's Sovereignity is beginning into consolidate itself with the help of the Wickremasinghe Administration which after the second round of Peace Talks appears to have gained in stature.Especially in the face of fundraising projects in Europe rather shamefacedly and ambiguously backed by Britain and the USA who continue to proclaim the importance of quelling terrorism. They have not however initiated any peace talks with Al Quaeda or Sadam Hussein!

It would seem immoral to circumvent and at the same time compromise the sovereignity of Sri Lanka by playing into the hands of the LTTE which eventually could bypass the existence of a Central Government System and hence set in place the very secession the LTTE are seeking and seem to have blindfolded the UNF Government into believing that the direction in which the Peace Process is headed would be beneficial to the Sinhala Nation whereas it seem very arguable and logical to the more discerning that the ploy of the LTTE has become very transparent as their moves become bolder, being pumped up by the myopic vision of Ranil Wickremasinghe playing the role of prime idiot in misrepresenting the significance of Sri Lankan Sovereignity to the rest of the world!

To grant parity on the same level as the Administration to an internationally condemned Terrorist Organization with a leader being sought for crimes against humanity would be sacrileginous to say the least and the concerns of the President and her advisor on International Affairs are becoming very significant in as far as the future of the Nation is concerned as the track record of the LTTE cannot be dispelled mildly and for the strangest of reasons they seem to curry favour with the UNF in an uneasy symbiosis designed towards their survival as an entity.

The charade continues between the chief negotiator of the LTTE and the Prime Minister who have commenced a dialogue intended for the next Norwegian Peace Venue towards joint fund raising aimed at rehabilitation of the North and North East casting aside the real issues at hand involving the covert goings on of the LTTE, their Quasi Administrations, Policing, Financial Institutions ,Law Enforcement and the rest of their duplicity which is being tolerated by the Administration as though Sri Lanka was some Piece of Real Estate in their possesion and theirs to barter with.

Sidelining the Peace Process which is now deserving of the title "Mock Peace Process Of Betrayal" the attrocities of child conscription, money extortion and expansion of its cadres and proliferation of weapons continue in abandon. A process which needs to take a closer look at the issues which rationally need to be prioritised such as weapons de-commisioning, a denouncing of their quest for secession and a sincere willingness to be administered to by a Central Government System preserving the Sovereignity of the Land, all of which are being voiced as concerns by the President and all opposition parties deeply concerened about the future of Sovereign Sri Lanka.

There can be no speculations that there is indeed a dire need to resort to corrective measures even if it means a referendum of the People and opposing the moves of an undiscerning administration hell bent on accomplishing their personal goals in collaboration with a sleazy accomplice and as the saying goes"Universal Franchise Must Decide The Destiny Of a Nation, Not Individual Megalomaniacs nor Dictators!"

The Non-Impartiality of the most important facilitator Norway whose obnoxious foot seems to be irretreivably stuck in the morass of the Peace Process is more than obvious in an advancing embarrasment to its representation and ironically the same source which proved to be a stumbling block in its past involvements at peace as seen in the Mid-East which one can deduce as being more than a mess! Coincidentally International News Broadcasts recently depicted Tamil Nationals domiciled in Norway who have voiced objections towards returning to Sri Lanka regardless of Peace shedding light on the theory that there surely lies an ulterior motive towards Norway's larger than life involvement in the Peace Process and that too at any cost!

Surely the Sinhala Nation does not deserve being in an unenviable situation where through the bungling or slipshodding of the so called Peace Process their loss of the supreme asset of identity together with that of the Sovereignity of Sri Lanka would becom irreversible and lost forever as the increasing volume of Opposition objections reverberates across once tranquil Sri Lanka. There cannot be a casting aside of the need for National Unity in deciding the issue of Peace which would cement the visible cracks significant enough to enlarge the greatest fear of the Nation at is foremost vulnerability, the danger of being overrun by the enemy!

Once the 'Die Is Cast' permanently by the UNF towards the posturing of the LTTE with no consultations with the rest of the Nation ,its President and all opposition parties in falsely representing an assumed legitimacy towards pursuing Peace as they envisage it through the sheer absence of a consolidated unity, by the time the Peace Process reaches Parliament it seems the UNF will have the tigers by the tail and a minimal assent from the gullible or none at all from the rest of the Nation.
