Ref;General Janaka Perera's appointment-SPUR report
Dear Editor,

I am referring to the letter regarding the General Janaka Perera's appointment as JOC..........I suppose some people at SPUR have something to gain by supporting such a man as him , as Janaka Perera is known to lean towards the 'Green' camp more often than not.

I think a man as notorious as Janaka Perera should never be handed the reins due to his lack of simplicity. I for one should know about Janaka, bacause many in my family have to tolerate his antics at work(actually used to).

Well im sure the writer of this article was a hnechman of Janaka or may be another suck up for a show-off. Mr Janaka Perera never ever achieved what he really is shouting about.....because even when Rohana Wijeweera was caught General Perera was the one who told them to keep Wijeweera till he got there.

Now looking back at incidents like this im sure people who know Janaka's attitude towards others was sickening the least. He was a show-off and abused his powers to get his so called achievement out to the public.

I am associated with so many military high ups...and they all have similar sentiments when it comes to the discussion about Janaka perera.....they all say he was a show boy and took power into his own hands. Dear editor....I never knew that SPUR was an organization that worked on political lines...........I thought it was working for all of Sri lanka...........but obviously some people seem to have many personal endevours that they need to accomplish.

Thank you..........
