Suranimala's articles

Dear Webmaster

I had the occssion to visit your website today. I have visited your site occassionally in the past too.

It is very obvious your site helps keep the anti-Tamil Sinhala fans on a 'high'.

I think you also seem to give more space and prominence for people like Suranimala. I wish to comment very briefly on his/her two articles that appeared today, 28 April.

He (or she) appears to be one of those writers who knows how to handle LTTE militarily. He/she should replace Gen Ratwatte and Janaka Perera made the Armed forces leader before he is arrested for human rights violations.

Both of them should be sent on a training course on how to fight a small number- a couple of thousand - of Tamil 'child' soldiers with the help of a 120,000 strong pure Sinhala army with all modern veapons bought using the huge war budget of a poor country.

LTTE was proscribed in Sri Lanka, India and the USA for the last few years. That did not make them any weaker. Now Britain has done that too. Fine. Ordinary Sinhala folk may think that is a victory for the Sri Lankan Governement or its forces.

Is it? Today's news is that Sri Lankan forces had withdrawn to their position four days ago. What did they achieve?

More Sinhala soldiers- four hundred dead? and 1400 injured? Now the poor Sri Lankan government will have pay the families of the dead and injured soliers for years to come at the expence of the tax payers. When are you guys going to learn a lesson?

Remember the might of the United States could not beat the Vietcongs! Cranking up the war machinary from a safe distance, as Suranimala is trying to do, cannot go on for long.

The poor Punchi Banda in Sri Lanka will rise soon to cahllenge the war mongers like Suranimala. I trust you will publish this.

Ganesh U.K.
