Who wants the LTTE?. LTTE is the manifestation of the agony of the Tamil people.
I left Sri Lanka 25 years ago because of the attrocities of the Sinhalese. Today in Canada we are not economic refugees we are the running Corporations. I invite my friend who wrote this article to come and visit my own world class manufacturing facility to see if we are economic refugees or not. We are the masters of our own destiny!
In Sri Lanka, the Tamils in north and east have become so back ward because of the constant destruction of property and educational facilities they are like sinhalese, may I say that. Now both the sinhalese and tamils are like in the same position. Both illiterate and ignorant. Poor people.

Sir, with all respect to you, go around the world and see the universities, who is doing well. Recently a sinhalese girl applied for a postion in my business but unfortunately to avoid unpleasentness I said no. We have integrated ourselves with the western societies. Our relationship with the super powers are excellent, they love us for our industry, perseverence and dedication. You people are creating trouble for your own people around the world. We are being recognised as hard working, loyal and creative employees and employers.
Let me ask you what will you do to my business if it is in Ja ela or Moratuwa. Are you joking? My life time of work will be destroyed in one night. You people don't know how much time and work is required to build a family. If you people respect your own people you would not send them to be canon fodder. You will see the next one, the land and the sky will burn and you will become humble to sensible. We are not asking for mercy anymore for tamils, in the name of Lord Buddha save the souls of Appuhamy's and Podimenike's children. How can a leader send 20 year old children to war, when her children are in the west.

Remember 1948, for two reasons. two people became free Sri Lankans and the Jews. Today Isreal is a super power, soon you will see an end to the problem in the middle east. LTTE has been adviced that a war similar to the one NATO conducted against Yugoslavia must be done in the future. No Tamil should die. I am openly saying because you people still don't understand the issues. You never understood it, you will never understand it, for you people are living in another world. How ever much we try you don't seem to understand the issues. We have to notch up the pressure until you understand our problem. You must listen to our concerns and difficulties. You don't have to give us anything, we know what we want. You can't give it for you don't have the integrity, courage and understanding to understand our problems.
I hope and pray for your children don't have to live in humility and deformities because I am telling you now itself one day your country will feel humiliated and ashamed. No one Tamil is going to allow this to go on forever. There is already pressure on LTTE to do something drastic despite world opinion. You may think LTTE is too much, but the next phase is already planned in case LTTE fails.IN CASE. Stop the war, give freedom to all people including the Sinhalese and then we will see if LTTE will manifest. Tamils are free, we have nothing to lose. Guess who is free the prisoner or the guard. THE GUARD IS NOT FREE AS LONG AS THE PRISONER IS NOT FREE. there is only one way to free the guard, free the prisoner.

I am a Tamil but I was a Sri Lankan. You people need education to emanciapte yourself. and raise yourself to the level of man kind. What I tought you is a big step in your evolution. Did any one of your people thought it this way?.You have been guarding the Tamil prisoners in the cell called Sri Lanka for 45 years. You people must be insane for 2 generations not to literate yourself out of the animal in you. You may eliminate the Tamils in Sri lanka but you will never eliminate ignorance among your people. The only way this war can continue is by keeping Appuhamy and Podimenieke illierate and ignorant. So when do you hope to solve the economic problems of Sinhalese.
While your politicians are contemplating, the world opinion is slowly but surely slipping away for people l;ike us who have acheived spectacular progress in the west are devoting our time guiding the next generation into the front.. My best advice is for your politicians to give up this war for it is winnable only for the Tamils. The current inventory of arsenal was procured with the financial wealth of the Tamils. We are only a small fraction now, think in 10 years, when we own large number of shares in multinational Corporations. The super power military is an extension of the Multinational Corporations. It is called the INDUSTRIAL MILITARY COMPLEX. North and east of Sri Lanka are barren and dry land, why should we bother with it. It is sacred to us. The soil is enriched with ingredients that form the body, mind, brain and soul. That is why it is sacred. it is like Jerusalem. It is holy land and soil. If you mess around with it it will destroy you. I hope I have said something that will illuminate you soul.
