President Rajapaksa further addressing the nurses said the fate of Sri Lanka seems to be extremely good as shown by the tons and tons of Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) weapons now being taken out by the countryƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s security forces from their hidden places in the Wanni jungles.

If they had been put into use, the country would have had a terrible devastation, he said.

He added everybody should look after the welfare of the heroic soldiers fighting in the most dedicated fashion.

ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-You must look after them like you would do to your own sons and daughters. Sometimes they do not have time to change their uniforms for days. They barely have a wink of sleep after an exhaustive day under a tree,ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ the President said.

Rajapaksa said if all government servants serve in the same dedication like the soldiers the improvement of the country would become a simpler task.
