‘Don’t you all cry for Sri Lanka
the truth is she never gave up the fight
all through 30 years of Tamil Tiger days
the darling of foreign nations
she kept her promise
and Canada keep your distance.’

This has been an amazing success story.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ For puny Sri Lanka, this Tamil separatist war was not a civil strife that she won almost single-handed, but was a ‘world-war’ given the support that the Tamil Tiger terrorists had from leading foreign nations, including Canada, and trained by mighty India.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ It is truly a modern day Gulliver and a Lilliputian story.
