Self appointed world spokeswoman

There is no doubt that resettling of IDPs back into their original homes is a huge daunting task which requires all possible help from all those that are concerned. We hear mostly from the west how concern they are for the lives of Sri Lankans now living in government care camps. Now is the true time for them to show how much they care by giving tangible help rather than giving merely a lip service to innocents Tamils whose lives have been scattered after being held hostage and fired at by gun point. Read my lips!

Evindence? Thousands of those IDPs will tell any western media that how they were shot at by the LTTE while they were fleeing the terror grip.

Genocide has new meanings today. It has can be from up side down to down side up for the relatively western educated young Tamil Diaspora. ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ If something is up, that may be seen as something down to them. Liberating Tamils from the Tiger grip for them may be the genocide. A soldier putting his life on the line of fire to give a hand to an innocent Tamil looking for cover from the bullets of LTTE may be seen as genocide to them.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚

Whatever it means by anyoneƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s definition of genocide, are there any killings going on in the care camps now?ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Tamil Diaspora should do whatever they can to help IDPs rather than sitting in an empty parks and streets of London and elsewhere producing nothing but wasting resources in the host country that they adopt as their country.

Western leaders are pretty good at offering lip services. They are pretty good at showing care for humanity in many ways. That is good. But the problem is they are not practicing what they preach. For example, the one person, self appointed spokesperson of the world, Ms. Hilory Clinton dictates to the poor countries how others should run their political affairs. This is pure rubbish! She and other western leaders talk about inclusion of minorities in the power sharing in a government such as ours. This is also good. But we as people from developing countries do understand what is wrong and what is right.

But what the Ms. self appointed World spokeswoman does not understand is this: How about UN? Is there any power sharing position in the UN for any developing or poor country? The fate of any nation can be decided or dictated by the UN Security Council which has no inclusion for even a country like India for today. This may be why some countries seek the help from Nuclear weapons! Not from the UN.

None inclusion of India in the security councill implies that India is not accepted as a credible partner to voice her opinion on world critical affairs. IMF loan for example is openly controlled by the US. It has threatened Sri Lanka with delaying the granting of the loan.

But now, Sri Lanka may not need the IMF loan after all. At least no one should die from starvation thanks to our natural resources.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Fruits and other forms of food are sufficiently available in Sri Lanka at least to satisfy any hungry stomach!

Bullying and arrogance is part of the American culture. It can even be seen in a typical American classroom. American teachers are now fed up with teaching their own students because of some behavior problems of the students who play bully roles in the same way Mr. Hilory does to the poor nations.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Today, thanks to globalize economy and power, there should not be any self proclaimed official leader in the world. No one should play the role of the Hilory, ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Hitler or even the GOD. We have something called United Nations to discuss issues relating to world political affairs. ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ There is no doubt that UN should be reorganized to include a voice for the developing countries because circumstances and cultural aspects of poor developing countries must be taken into account when coming up with resolutions in the UN. ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ If there is no such a representation, the poor nations will be subjected to abuses of the rich nuclear powered west. For example, the west may seem it justified using economics sanctions on a population which is already starving. But we in the east do not think that it is a good thing. The west may think that it is a good thing to threaten a nation economically such as delaying tactics of IMF loan, but we think in the east that after 30 years of trauma on its population by the terrorists we should not be bullied but helped by other nations.

There are a number of degrees of separation between the West and the East in terms of culture, politics and other norms of social life in the east. The solutions to these should be provided with a basis that is relevant to the local culture. ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ For example, in order to obtain the citizenship in the US, in addition to taking a US history test, one has to declare a faith of allegiance to the United States. That means that person has to accept the reality and be able to take up arms if necessary to destroy any enemy or country that the host country think is an enemy which may include even the ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-failed at startƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ Tamil Eeelam. The one million dollar question is then why this Tamil Diaspora is not acting as they have given the oath of allegiance to their adopted countries? Their adopted country already regards LTTE is a terrorist organization which they must accept according to the allegiance they have made! To them I say stop wasting time and help your relatives in Sri Lanka!ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚
