Dear Minister:

You have failed me and Sri Lanka with your Statement on Sri Lanka expressing your concern on civilian casualties and not recognizing the Sri Lanka Government defeating the most ruthless terrorist group in the world which you all banned in April 2006.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  You ignored the euphoria among all Sri Lankans, including some Tamils, and the relief they shared having had the Tamil Tigers eliminated, knowing that they do not have to make a sign of the cross or put their palms together in prayer before they get on a commuter busƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ anymore, wanting to arrive at their destination in one piece without being blown to smithereens by a Tamil Tiger claymore mine.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Your statement failed miserably to recognize these facts having focused to appease the thousands of Tamil Tiger sympathizing Tamil Diaspora who screamed at you all under a cloud of red Tamil Tiger flags.

Your statement is proof positive that the Conservatives have now begun to pander to the Tamil Diaspora and have forgotten that there were other communities, especially the majority Sinhalese who were affected by this unnecessary brutal war with killings, assassinations and ethnic cleansing in the thousands of individuals.

Turn your hands and look at your palms Minister, and you will see a film of Sinhalese blood all over them from the killings of 114 innocent civilians and maiming for lifeƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ of another 1,338 when the Tamil Tigers brought down the Central Bank Building in the heart of Colombo on January 31, 1996, with a truck bomb filled with ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ high explosives bought from a Ukraine Chemical Factory with a cheque cut from a ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Tamil account in a bank in Vancouver.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  All 32 million Canadians have Sinhalese blood on our hands with that assault. ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ You ignored that fact when you decided to pander to the screaming Tamil Diaspora who harasses Canadians by blocking roads, streets and expressways.

Canada let Sri Lanka fight this war on her own and yet gave the Tamil Tigers the thumbs up to continue this war to gain their mono-ethnic, racist Tamil separate state Eelam,ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ by letting the Tamil Diaspora collect two million dollars aƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ month for 13 long years to stuff their Tamil Tiger war chest to buy weapons, while we did every thing possible under the sun to see that the Quebecois will not separate from the rest of Canada, ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ and even evoked the draconian War Measures Act to quell the FLQ uprising in October 1970. ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ That was Canadian hypocrisy of the first order.

While we refuse to recognize the amazing win by the Sri Lankan Government and her committed armed forces who wiped out the Tamil Tiger terrorismƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ from their punyƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ sovereign island, we have sent our soldiers to fight the Taliban terrorists in Afghanistan, killing civilians, displacing thousands and creating hell for most of them.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  That is Canadian hypocrisy one more time.

While I thank the Conservatives for banning the Tamil Tigers as a terrorist organization, and thank two members of your caucus in particular, ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Ministers Stockwell Day and Jason Kenney for taking the ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ lead on that file from their Reform days, I will not condone Conservative Canada treat my Mother country, Sri Lanka, that shabbily, that insensitively.
