According to news from Sri Lanka,Ranil Wickremasinghe the leader of the opposition has been doing a round of European countries such as Norway,Belgium etc. the last few weeks.Surely he is not on a personal holiday from the fact that he was supposed to meet the infamous Eric Solheim while in NorwayƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ and dignitaries from some other countries in Europe.However his agenda has been shrouded in secrecy as usual.This makes one wander what he was upto at this juncture when the country is engaged in a most difficult task ridding us of the vicious group of Tamil Tiger Terrorists who had ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ beenƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ plaguing us for a few decades.To add to it we are now involved in meeting the urgent and desperate humanitarian needs of the hostages who had been held by these terrorists as a human shield against the army advance who rescued these victims from the cruel tiger clutches.

Our people have not forgotten the disasters that fell on the country when this man went surreptitiously to these same countries about eight years back.Then tooƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ nobody was in the clear what he had plotted there until in 2002 immediately after he scraped into position of Prime Minister (as a result of plottings and shady deals with other traitorous political elements), he brought about the notorious Cease Fire Agreement (C.F.A.) in which he signed an agreement with terrorist Prabhakaran practically handing over the combined North-East of the country in order to pave way for these terrorists to form a pseudo Eelaam State.In this process he shamelessly went in secrecy to the feet of this terrorist to get his signature to bring about a supposed ‘peace’! This is to remind the reader about the nature of this rogue who will stoop to any low depth for a slice of power.I need not recount the adverse consequences for the country to extricate from which it cost so dearly in lost valuable lives and progress in the last few years.

This guy has a habit of slipping out of the country and creeping in backƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ like a slippery political eel who has never been open or transparent about his comings and goings.So we have reasonable and serious suspicions about these current travels of his which mightƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ become clear before long perhaps leading toƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ unfortunate consequences for the country.

So, as concerned citizens ofƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Sri Lanka we have a right to get certain points clarified for the sake of honesty and transparency for which we have a legitimate right to demand.Some of these are:

1.What was the urgent need for this leader of the opposition to travel out at this juncture when the country was involved in a cruicial war against a vicious enemy?
2.Was this a private trip as Ranil Wickremasinghe or as the leader of the opposition?
3.Who invited him?
4.Who would be footing the bills for (a) air travelƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ (b) travels inside the countriesƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ (c) hotels and accommodation?
5.What was to be his agenda in each venue?Whom did he meet? What were discussed? How relevant were these for the immediate needs of the country?
6.Is he going to divulge these to the parliament as a part of the transparency required from a parliamentarian?

Not sure whether readers are aware that Ranil Wickramasinghe is the President for the Asia Pacific Region of the International Democratic Union(IDU) which is an organisation of Christian countries. For “Sri Lanka “membership has been obtained by the UNP! It might now be clear why Ranil is running around the world because their agenda is to find ways to destabilize this Buddhist country & all of them were supportive of the LTTE terrorist outfit!
Ranil Wickramasinghe is now doing the rounds briefing them on how LTTE failed I guess, and will try to find ways of how to do new things to upset our GOSL. Ranil Wickramasinghe is a known unpatriotic element, who even at the time of the Tsunami, went to western countries and requested them not to offer relief aid to the then President Chandrika Kumaratunga. What he is doing now, is nothing new to him.

You are right, he is a traitor and in any other country would have been hanged as one. You are also right that this whole thing was a christian/evangelist conspiracy. It was not a war between Buddhists and Hindus, who have never once fought in their entire history of co-existence. Prabhakaran and his top echelon were all christian and were the minions of the Western (read christian) masters. That is why the Western nations are so anxious to vilify and pillory Sri Lanka for war crimes. For what? For eradicating terrorists? Aren’t the Western powers the champions of the “war on terror”?

There are many evidences in Sri Lanka to support the charges of a Christian conspiracy. Even LTTE must be in this plot. Of all Tamil politicians executed by LTTE, all are Hindus except 2 catholics. This raise some qustions.
Is Sri Lanka an unsuspecting victim of a hidden, world wide campaingn by certain elements to destabilise and control?
Ranil, Chandrika, Jayalath Jayawardana etc who are christians can be their stooges in Sri Lanka.
