Oman donates Rs. 4.5 million for the ‘Ranaviru Welfare Fund’

The Sri Lanka Ambassador to Oman Mr. D.M.M Ranaraja handed over a cheque worth of 4.5 million rupees to Mrs. Deepthi Bogollagama, the Chairperson of ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”Seva Vanitha Unit’ of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at a simple ceremony held at the Ministry, on 17th June 2009. The Sri Lankan workers and the expatriates living in the Sultanate of Oman have collected this amount and will be deposited in the ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”Ranaviru Welfare Fund’ to build houses for the members of the security forces.
