Sir:

Your  Channel 4 broadcast of  the video clip of the shooting deaths of unarmed people, who you describe as Tamils as if their bare dark bodies which were not so Tamil-dark, had tattoos claiming that “I am a Tamil”, allegedly shot by Sri Lankan soldiers wearing distinctive Sri Lankan army uniforms is a reason for concern.

You had conveniently forgotten that Tamil Tigers were maestro impostors acting to be Sri Lankan soldiers like when 25 of them wore similar army uniforms when they attacked the Anuradhapura Air Base on October 22, 2007, before they aerial bombed destroying several aircraft at the base.   The residents of Anuradhapura had not suspected the Tamil Tigers since they were dressed in Sri Lankan Army uniforms and spoke in Sinhala.  Although your Jonathan Miller said that the video clip of the shooting could not be authenticated, yet showing it on Channel 4 had the fervent stamp of audacity of public mischief against Sri Lanka and her army has now taken the world by storm.

You have achieved in away, a retaliation against the Sri Lankan Government for having kicked out your reporters Nick Paton-Walsh, Bessie Du and Matt Jasper and you all are still smarting, by inducing the foolish AI (Ambitious Imbeciles) and HRW (Horriblus Retarded Whores) in the act of calling for an investigation for War Crimes by the Sri Lankan government.  Fair enough, as they too have been waiting for an opportunity to go back on their bullish assault on the Sri Lankan government for having finished off the Tamil Tigers without heeding to their call for a “ƒ”¹…”ceasefire’ to save the Tamil Tigers from annihilation so that  these terrorists could live another day to fight for their Eelam.  They seem to be bitter with the Sri Lankan Government as  now they  have one less burning issue to stir the pot of human rights violations, which will give them one less opportunity to seek more funding for their existence claiming that they are the World’s Terrible-Twin Police Force on Human Rights.  I understand their bitterness.

This footage is disturbing as bad as Lieut.William Calley’s incident in Vietnam.     Remember the Mai Lai massacre on March 16, 1968 during the Vietnam War?  Lieut. Calley was in charge of the “Charlie Company” that opened fire killing somewhere between 347 and 504 unarmed Vietnamese civilians, and no one; nor did a single human rights organization had the guts to call for a War Crimes investigation against the Americans!  Ha! Were they too powerful to be challenged or did they know that the Americans would chewed their critics and spit them out, and trample and crush them under their shoes for good measure to be sure that their voices are “ƒ”¹…”shut up’ for good.   Lieut. William Calley was court marshalled for this gruesome attack and the US was let go free of this crime.  That is a reality check for you lest you have forgotten that incident.  However, if this alleged allegation in the video clip is proved to be correct, then there is no question that the Sri Lankan Government should be taken to task.

But, if this video clip is proved to be doctored, dubbed or staged, then Channel 4 deserves to be taken to task in a  Court of Law for libel and defamation by the Sri Lankan Government, no question. If that happens, I want to see that Channel 4 been whipped to attention and sucker-punched severely and order to apologize and  fork out a Himalayan amount of money to the Sri Lankan Government for defamation and  that you guys will be buried for good  never to be a sick, a vulgar, a  pathetic idiot-trouble maker in the world of audio-visual communicators.

And, of course, the group of “Journalists for Democracy in Sri Lanka” (JDS) who says that they are Sri Lankan writers, artists and human rights defenders in exile who provided you all with the video clip should not be spared either.  If one could find them, they should be stripped in a public square in Sri Lanka, tied to stakes and ask a burley Sri Lankan soldier in uniform to whip their brown behinds with a rattan cane until they turn a ruddy red, to give an opportunity for other Sri Lankan army soldiers to boo at the squirming JDS’s who tried to vilify them.  They deserve nothing more and nothing less.

Are the Tamil Tigers capable of being Sri Lankan Army impostors and could be bestial to murder unarmed civilians by shooting them at point blank range?  Or course, they could and they revelled in this mastery.  Here are two sterling examples of this tribe’s bestiality.

The time was 7:15 in the morning of June 2, 1987. Thirty-three novice Buddhist monks  from the Mahavapi temple had just boarded a bus.  With them was their mentor, the Chief Priest Venerable Hegoda Indrasara who sat in front of the bus.  They began a journey of pilgrimage to the historic Kelaniya Mahavihara just outside the capital Colombo.  Having just passed Nuwaratenna, and when they reached Arantalawa the bus driver P.G. Samarapala noticed some tree-logs placed across the road obstructing the driver’s path.

Sensing danger the driver began to turn the bus around when suddenly a group of about 20 Tamil Tiger terrorists in commando fatigues, like threatening black apparitions emerged from the jungle brandishing swords, knives and Kalashnikovs.  Two Tamil terrorists had boarded the bus and gave the driver orders to drive the bus into a jungle path.

There had been a pin drop silence inside the bus until they reached a thick growth of tall teak trees. “Give us the money you have” was the order by the Tamil Tiger leader.  The bus conductor N.V. Jinadasa surrendered every cent he had.   Venerable Indrasara then pleaded, “You better kill me but please don’t harm these young ones”, pointing to the young pupil monks.  Then a thundering voice rent the air, “Wettida”, which meant cut them.  Instantly a sword had fallen sharply on the neck of Venerable Indrasara severing it into two. When the second sword was falling on Ratnayake, a young monk Punjhasara rushed forward and interceded not to kill his father.  Immediately a shot rang with a bullet piercing the young monk’s skull, and the bullet hole gushed blood like ketchup.  Then two terrorists began to cut and chop the young monks and two other Tigers had begun shooting at all the other monks at random.  Howls of pain and wailing had filled the jungle air, but all pleading did nothing to soften the brutal hearts of these damn Tamil Tiger terrorist killers.

In fleeting moments the bus was drenched with pools of warm young blood of the novice monks and all 33 were dead, and with them 4 civilians too had been killed. I didn’t hear a single International voice of do-gooders protest this killing.   May be that if they had done their pockets would have stopped been lined with Tamil Tiger blood money which they had in the billions of dollars.

Would you think that your video clip could be the Tamil Tigers killing Sinhalese or killing members of an opposing Tamil political group? Well, your guess is good as mine and I will not let it pass by my imagination as the Tamil Tigers have never shown me that they are innocent babes-in-the-woods.  They have been ruthless when it came to killing opponents.

When the Tamil Tigers attacked and overran 17 police stations in the eastern Batticaloa District and took over 700 policemen, and President  Ranasinghe Premadasa had requested these policemen to surrender having  been given the assurance by a Tamil Tiger leader Anton Balasingham that they will be sent south unharmed.  It turned out to be a damn lie.

On the mornings of June 11 and 12, 1990,  these policemen were blindfolded and brought in relays to a patch of jungle.  After feeding  a cup of water to each one of them when kneeling  and their hands tied at the backs were shot through their skulls, everyone of them.  One who was lucky to be alive having pretended that he was dead, lived another day to tell us the story.

The Tamil Tigers were no babes-in-the-woods, as they mastered the art of being Sri Lankan Army soldier impostors and a bunch of  “ƒ”¹…”point-blank-shoot-through-the-skull’ ruthless killers.

Here is something disturbing for you to be concerned about.  My Crystal Ball readings on Sri Lanka’s ethnic issue since 1983, have been consistently right.  Let me brag to say that my forecasts have never been wrong.  And here’s my reading on Channel 4 for your benefit.

“I see a cloud of cold microscopic ice-pellets hovering over the Channel 4 personnel as they walk on thin ice having the foolishness and the audacity in showing the video-clip on the alleged Sri Lankan soldiers shooting at Tamils.  The ice is cracking a head of them and they do not know. Hmmm”¦and soon the frozen iced floor will part asunder and they will fall trough the crack feeling the chill of their stupidity.  I hope they will have enough money to extricate themselves from this chill as they will be slammed with and immense libel suit.  And as for the AI and HRW personnel who had piggy-backed on this Channel 4’s stupid exercise thinking that they could holler at the Sri Lankan Government, “We Finally Gotch-Ya, Sri Lanka”, too will be feeling the chilly Arctic wind.  They too will freeze their butts for their stupidity and only have them thawed if they are willing to act with some integrity and intelligence hence forth.  Or else, they will find me wagging my five fingers atop my nose and telling them “Na-nana-na-na, when will you guys grow up!”

This is a complimentary Crystal Ball reading, and as I told you before, my predictions have never been wrong.  Call me a “ƒ”¹…”hocus-pocus voodoo man’ if you have to, but that’s OK.  But all what I can say to all of you pathetic people is, “Good Luck”, now that you have stepped into  your own creation of a sinister world.  I will spare all of you  for now with my curse “”…” “Pox on all of You stupid people for trying to hurt my Sri Lanka”.

Sincerely,

Asoka Weerasinghe

Dear Asoka – Thank you for the illuminative contribution re. this mess. The reminder of the Aranthalawa and seven hundered Police personnel is very timely, because these so cllled Human Rights activists conveniently forget such instances. These are the people who live on blood money and they should be exposed. I hope all these activists at least express their views on the two incidents highlighted by you. Also, Channel 4, it is now up to you to answer the questions – Is it true or fake? Who made it available to you? Did you examine the authenticity of the vedio and the organization who made it available? We are waiting for annswers.
