As a contemporary phrase has it, ‘let’s get real’. Hilary Clinton got in wrong and everyone knows it. But you cannot realistically expect an abject climb down from the US, unreservedly admitting they got it wrong. All we can expect to get is what we have got – some face saving jugglery with words. That is how these things happen. . There are no more points to prove, and continuing to dwell on this thing will be of no use. So, let’s now put this whole episode behind us and move on
