So India should be very wary of this new found friendship with US - the Trojan Horse! And a sure way to ensure that neither of these countries reaches that stage and challenge the existing power structure is to drive a wedge between the two Asian giants and weaken them. Internationally, conflicts rarely come about as a result of spontaneous unrest. Very often they are manufactured, nurtured and mischievously promoted by vested interests. And what better way is there, for instance, to keep the sales of sophisticated and expensive arms and armaments going than to convince other countries of their need to arm themselves against potential external threats! It would seem that the US and the west would not like to see either India or China becoming anything like a super power.
