Central Intelligence agencies of India have found fresh evidence of joint training camps and meetings conducted by the Maoists with the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam elements crept into India in the forests of South and Central India , the Times of India reported.

Predicting the long term ambitions of Tamil Tigers establishing bases in South India the newspaper said, ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Analysts said the LTTE game plan is double-edged. On one hand, it would help the Maoists to take on Indian forces, while on the other it would try to recover the lost ground in Sri Lanka by making South India their new base to fight the Lankan forces in the northern parts of the island nation.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The intelligence agencies have warned the Indian states of Andhra Pradesh,Chahattisgarh and Orissa about the alleged intrusion of the Tamil Tigers into IndiaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s territorial waters the Times of |India said. The newspaper said , according to unnamed sources a well trained group of 12 Tamil Tigers have sneaked into India to join hands with the Maoists.

The newspaper quoted the sources as saying, ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-They entered north coastal Andhra Pradesh via Kerala and after splitting into three groups, one of which is suspected to have found a safe haven in Vizianagaram Agency area.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚

Immediately before this information an intelligence alert went to the Eastern coastal states that there had been an LTTE intrusion.

The security forces are worried that the prowess of the Tamil Tigers in explosives with the jungle warfare expertise of the Maoists could be a deadly combination.

The newspaper also said the sizable guerrilla warfare experience the LTTE gained fighting Sri Lankan security forces also could be passed onto the Maoists by this combination.

The Times of India further said: ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Security wings suspect that the Maoists could take the help of Tamil Tigers to prepare themselves to defend the all-out central forcesƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ attack codenamed ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”Operation Green HuntƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ on Abujmad, their strategic base and stronghold in the Dandakaranya in Chhattisgarh. With Chidambaram avowing that the operation is aimed at defeating the top Maoist leadership, sources said the focus is on to nab or kill APƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s naxal leaders, who constitute 80 per cent of the Maoist top brass.

ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-It will be again AP commandos versus top Maoist leaders in Abujmad as and when the central forces corner the area. So, the chances of Maoists relying on Tigers cannot be ruled out,ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ a source said. Sources also said the Maoists could take the help of LTTE militants for training their military wing, PeopleƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s Liberation Guerrilla Army (PLGA).
