But, no way, could it be argued that she could have been expected to bring credibility to US diplomacy. Hilary Clinton, very simply, carries too much 'baggge'. Why else did the Democrats reject her and accept Obama? Both in terms of her 'flawed' background (in terms of the baggage she carries) and the manner in which she has blundered in the exercise of her role, she is unlikely to add value as US Secretary of State. But, let's not worry overmuch. After all, George W Bush managed to carry on for eight years and the US is still in one piece!!
