There is always more to every story. It is interesting to see the new trend that make those who claim to be achievers, patriots or doers to prove their worth by themselves. Obviously, we cannot influence the outcome. Let us see how things work out in time to come. The military defeat of Tamil Tiger barbarians is an ordinary issue for me compared to other more pressing issues. I am someone who had made my feelings very clear long before this eventuality that these stupid unhuman murders should be treated and hunted down like mad stray dogs for reasons better known to me than trying to deal with as equals. I am also someone who laughed at the US classification of this terror outfit as the worst simply because of their own inaptitude. Unfortunately these murderers were used as a political tool for 30 long years. I hope it is over by now. However, I feel that we need to learn more about the recent military victory as it has far-reaching effects that may even affect the way we conduct future wars. For the record and your future reference, I want to add that some of the well-published decisions made by the top military-political leadership had a devastating impact on the ground quite contrary to the popular thinking and that the price paid is too much to claim anything beyond satisfactory level.
