We sent you many letters recently. We will continue to do so in time to come in order to save our country and moreover our party, the UNP from extinction.

It is no secret Mangala/JVP combine trapped our beloved leader Ranil Wicremasinghe to agree to put forward Sarath Fonseka who never had any UNP links as the opposition candidate. Unlike late Janaka Perera, Fonseka was not even close to the UNP. In fact he hated us. He still does. You can see it very clearly with his close association with his JVP/Mangala combo.

Mangala and that JVPƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Anura Kumara had trapped Ranil and made him a prisoner. Ranil his helpless now. Do you remember how close Mangala was to the JVP even then? He is the one who brought the JVP closer to Mahinda. Let the UNP not forget how people like Mahinda R and Sarath Amunugama were against the JVP from joining the PA. We all know what they have done now.

UNP is not a racist party. Nobody has accused us of such things. It is true some accused our beloved JR of keeping quiet in 1983. But, he later got rid of those elements from the party. As for Ranil no one has ever accused him of being a racist. In fact he is loved by the minorities. Sarath Fonseka is a known racist and he is also anti Indian. JVP is no better. Now there is another racist Sarath Silva has joined the fray. That does not look good for the UNP because it is the JVP that brought him to undermine Ranil. They are the Sinhala only nutcases. What happens when two nuts knock each other? They get cracked.

Keep thinking now. If Fonseka/Mangala/JVP combo takes power we in the UNP may have to stop thinking.
