Since I was shadowing your candidature after I read your statement headlined in a newspaper as, ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”British candidate calls Tamils victims of genocideƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚, I did not want you to win and extremely happy that you did not get elected as a Member of Parliament as I was afraid that you would be spouting lies about Sri Lanka in the British parliament to support your Tamil constituents.

In your BlogSpot you say, ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-I must be doing something right as IƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ve just received a string of abusive emailsƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚¦(and also the anonymous comment on the previous blog post ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” a person too cowardly however to leave his ID!).

I wrote you on April 28, 2010, and I signed my name as Asoka Weerasinghe and gave you my address in Canada.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  If my letter is one you have identified as an ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-abusive emailsƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚, I am glad you did, as I did write you with a degree of resentment for your British brand of ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”Cor Blimey! ThatƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s a bloody lieƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢, Conservatism.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  In it I said:

ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-I will not accept your vulgar, immoral, unprincipled, offensive, inexpiable and unpardonable charge on the Sri Lankan Government of Tamil Genocide, disappearances of Tamils, moving in of Sinhalese into traditional Tamil areas, the use of concentration-style camps for internally displaced Tamils, burning down of the Jaffna Library, and refusal to act on their Batta Kotte (Vadukoddai) resolution.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  I dealt with all that in my letter.

ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-GenocideƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ you charged.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  That is loaded with unsubstantiated rumours. It would be easily explained to be a God damned lie when the Sri Lankan armed forces rescued 288,000 Tamils in May 2009 from a sliver of beach sand in the east coast after the Tamil Tigers had herded them for two-and one-half years from the west coast when the Tamil Tiger terrorists were on the run when their butts were whipped by the Sri Lankan Armed Forces.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ 

And in my letter I went on to give you a High School class lesson on Sri Lanka and her War with the Tamil Tigers.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  If you were a diligent student then you would have studied what I said, but being an ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-I Gotcha Sri Lanka!ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ Conservative I doubt it would have happened.

Explain to me your logic how the following equates to ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-GenocideƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  When the 288,000 Tamils were saved by the Sri Lankan Armed Forces, during the final stages of the war, they had every opportunity to get rid of them, an act of ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”genocideƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢, but No, these armed forces men and women had hearts as big as the moon. They even carried the old and the feeble Tamils in their arms like babies to safety dodging the Tamil Tiger bullets.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  They housed them in temporary camps, and the Sinhalese people whom the Tamil Tigers were targeting with their claymore mines and bullets, cooked one million meals a day to feed these Tamil people three meals a day.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  They refused to let them starve going without even a single meal.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  That was the love they had for their Tamil brothers and sisters, as they did not want them to die with starvation nor fall sick. What was stunning was when Doctor Rachel Joyce of Harrow was spitting at Sri Lanka about Tamil ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-GenocideƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢, the Sri Lankan Government was meticulously going about with their business clearing the millions of landmines that were planted like fields of potatoes ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ by the ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”running for their livesƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ Tamil Tigers, and rehabilitating bullet pocked walls and roofless houses destroyed by the ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ worldƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s most ruthless terrorists, the Tamil Tigers, to send the displaced Tamils to their original homes.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  And do you know what, Rachel?ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Within 11 months of the end of the war, the Sri Lankan Government sent home almost 220,000 of the Tamils from the temporary welfare camps, together with rations, utilities and seed money to start their new lives.
