Sri Lankan High Commissioner Her Excellency Mrs. Chitranganee Wagiswara had a courtesy visit to Toronto City on 9^th May 2010 to meet Sri Lankan Canadians and Tamil Diaspora members. It was a very cordial meetings and she was explaining Sri Lankan Government Development progress and PresidentƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s view of ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Mahinda ChindanaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ next stage to improve unity among communities after the united the country under one Flag.

She was enthusiastically answering all questions raised by Tamil Diaspora Members and explaining the Sir Lankan government genuine commitment to find solution for minor communitiesƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ aspirations. She has invited all Sri Lankan Canadians to be a partner of Country development and investment.

High Commissioner was accompanied by some of Mission officials. The participated member were very much satisfied with High commissionerƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s speech and all were enthusiastically accepted her invitation to be a partner to develop a New Sri Lanka.

Canadian Government has sent Assistant Deputy Minister for Asia and Africa recently to evaluate the Sri Lanka new developments. He has assured that Canadian Government is backing Sri Lanka Developments and do the all needful.
