Just read that you are still trying to get a pound of flesh off Sri Lanka requesting that Sri Lanka allow an international probe into the governmentƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s final offensive against the Tamil Tiger terrorists last year.
Come on Navi, are you trying to tell us that you are suffering from Alzheimers with a partial memory loss.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ You seem to be too young for that ailment, arenƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t you?
Remember, it was only last year that the motion brought at the Human Rights Council for an independent investigation on War Crimes against Sri Lanka was defeated by 29 nations to 12 during that Special Session.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ You must be crazy Navi to ignore 469,007,944 people representing those 29 countries who voted against the motion.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Stop acting like a Tin-Goddess, ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Navi, Tin-Goddess Kali to be exact.
Remember how IndiaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s Permanent Representative, A. Hell hath no fury than a woman scorned. Iam inclined to think that it was A. Gopinathan that put her off colour. Then again, I thought, there has to be some other underlying problem too. GO DAMIT ! it is PERIMENOPAUSE, that could be associated with a touch of Altzheimers. There are over forty symptoms, and most commonly are, Hot Flashes, Night Sweats, Irregular Periods, Loss of Libido, Vaginal Dryness, Mood Swings, Sexual Discomfort etc. This can be equated to a person suffering from acute hemorrhoids. IRITTABILITY, Oh IRRITABILITY. So even though she talks stercus tauri, let us kindly tell her, just shut the fup, be nice to Sri Lanka, and come and pay us a visit, travel, through the verdant hills of Sri Lanka to the Sun Kissed Shores of the South. The very climate will change the mood swings. Navi, please accept the sincere invitation. Sri Lankan People are very hospitable. GOOD LUCK AGAIN, NAVI.

Great article. Small point, I think the number is greater than 469,007,944. India itself is a billion (1,000,000,000) right? If I am not mistaken, those 29 countries represented more than a half of the world’s population.

It seems that the good lady, like Goldsmith’s celebrated parson, “even though vanquished…could argue still”. She is clearly intent on having her way, after her previous attempts to get Sri Lanka in the dock were iingloriously beaten. On the last occasion, India reminded her in none too subtle fashion that she cannot expect to exceed her mandate, that she cannot act counter to what her superiors had done and said. As Susantha has reminded us, “hell indeed hath no fury ……”.

Ms Navi Pillai’s aim was to fight INSTITUTIONALIZED DISCRIMINATION (her words). Her big mistake was to hit out at Lanka which does NOT practice Institutionalized Discrimination against any group. I believe she was really fighting the Tamil Dalit (Untouchables) situation in Tamil Nadu, (some 5 Million Tamil Dalits there – a 3,000 yr old situation), without actually pointing in that direction.

Well said Asoka. I am sorry for this woman and her gangsters. How long have they been fussing over that Popsicle and dancing to the various beats of the US and the EU. In a way what a courage to pull somebody else’s cart loads so tirelessly just like a real 4 legged cow tied to a cart!!!! Think Navi think…. That chair of yours where you think is so high is worse than a bullock cart. You are just tied to it. They have found the right cow to pull. Just try to see where they are going to hit at. Let me give this little piece of mind to India too – Shame on you! Alright you finally stood by them against us but remember in the worst case scenario they will split you up, exploit you for their and only their own benefit.
Navi as a South Asian and as a female and more than that as a SRI LANKAN I wish I could write more to you. Try to pay a visit to Sri Lanka. The very breeze of the country would cure half of your filthy soul. ( I know you fear entering the country for you know how much you have been cursed by your own conscience for harassing Sri Lanka. But do come and see, Sri Lankans are that people with compassionate hearts who let the Tamil people including the ex-LTTErs enjoy the benefits of freedom the island is enjoying today.
Just don’t bother my peaceful and lovely country and don’t waste our time. If you don’t really have any thing fruitful to do with your time try stitching a new underskirt!
