The ship ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”Sun SeaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ with a cargo ofƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ 500 TamilsƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ and among themƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ are suspect Tamil TigersƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ that is heading for the B.C. coast was predictable as night follows day, after we let in the 76 Tamils smuggled into Canada on ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”Ocean LadyƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ last October, of which according to the Canadian Border Services Agency Report, 25 were hardcore Tamil Tiger terrorists.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚
What is also predictable is that there will be tough Rambo talk by the Minister of Public Safety and the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration that they will not allow the vanquished Tamil Tiger terrorists to abuse the Canadian immigration system.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ And what is also predictable is that all the 500 illegal migrant TamilsƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ on ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”Sun SeaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ will be allowed to apply for refugee status, as did the 76 who came on ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”Ocean LadyƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ They know that to enter Canada is easy as eating a Maple syrup dipped doughnut from Tim Horton.
This is not an isolated incident of Tamil Tigers being brought into Canada illegally, as this is part of a global criminal network, a million dollar business thriving out of the remnants of the Tamil Tigers who were defeated militarily on May 18, 2009, who had accumulated funds up to a billion dollars in cash and assets around the world.
The ship ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”Sun SeaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ is owned and operated by the Tamil Tigers, a group of terrorists who were banned in Canada in April 2006 and captained by Capt.Vinod, who was one of the two captains that transported several thousand tons of sophisticated arms and explosives to the north of Sri Lanka from North Korea in that very ship for the Tamil Tigers during the warring days.
Capt. Vinod was the second Captain in command of the ship ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”Ocean LadyƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ that brought in 76 Tamils illegally.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ It is important to note that none of the 76 Tamils on that ship have been deported nor a single member of the crew of the ship have been arrested and charged by the Canadian authorities considering theirƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ tough as nailsƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Rambo talk.
What is troubling about this event is while the Liberals prolonged the terrorist war in Sri Lanka during their 11 years in government by allowing the Tamil Diaspora to collect two million dollars a month and stuff ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ the Tamil Tiger war-chest to buy sophisticated weapons to fight the war, the Conservative government not wanting to antagonize the 250,000 Tamils in Canada and lose their votes in the nine GTA ridings by not letting these illegal Tamils into the country is encouraging these Tamils to regroup and inject them back to life to continue agitating for their ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ mythical ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ mono-ethnic, separate Tamil state Eelam, ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ and along the way destabilize Sri Lanka which is now undergoing the pangs of rehabilitation, reconciliation and development of the North and East of Sri Lanka.
What should be done is to send a strong message to the Tamils in Sri Lanka that the party is over and if they wish to come to Canada that they should fill an application form like everyone else and hand it over to the Canadian High Commission in Colombo and stand in line like everyone elseƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ until the application is processed without abusing the Canadian immigration system.
Canada is on record as the only country that has provided safety to the largest number of hardcore Tamil Tiger terrorists who invented the body-pack for suicide bombings, and the only terrorist outfit that assassinated two heads of state, Rajiv Gandhi of India and President Premadasa of Sri Lanka.

Asoka! Entire Sri Lankans are embarrassed by this bogus tamil refugee drama. If tamils of Sri Lanka have a problem they must go to their traditional home land tamil nadu (tamil country) in South India. It is just 24 miles from North of Sri Lanka or just visible distance from Mannar Island and maximum by boat is 2 hours. If they take a plane then 45 minutes from Colombo to tamil country. Ramayanaya says Hanumantha and other monkeys came this distance walking. Velupillai Prabakaran and other terrorists went to India’s tamil country for terrorism training by boats.
What I cannot understand is why tamils don’t want to go to their homeland tamil country. Instead of (24 miles away 2 hours crossing) tamil country why they take a high risk and travel to Canada or Australia may be 12000 km and several weeks on high seas. Why tamil nadu jokers Karunanidhi, Jaya Lalitha, Nedumaran, Vaiko are dumb on this issue. Why can’t they ask them to come to tamil nadu.
Tamil nadu political jokers may think that whole world is dumb Asses like them. But whole world know that those tamils even doesn’t like to come to their homeland because it is a hell in this world. Therefore they take a high risk and try to go to Canada or Australia. Those are the only countries they can claim bogus refugee statues in present.
They go to Canada or Australia to claim refugee statues and earn more $. That is tamils aspiration. If they can earn $ then there is no language issue for them. They are ready to learn, speak in either english, german, norwegian, dutch, french, swedish, irish, swahili or even sign language if they can earn $, Euros,Yen etc. Tamils of SL can fool some at sometimes but cannot fool all at all the time.

Asoka, I do not think we should worry about terrorists going to Canada, because a terrorist in Sri Lanka as good as a terrorist in Canada. If they come back to Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka will have to look after them and you know the Sri Lankan government is screaming out for much needed funds for much sought after projects that would help uplift the lives of many trying and very hard working poor Sri Lankans. We must help all the Tamils and their beloved Tigers to go anywhere they want. But we must be vigilant back in Sri Lanka not to allow any Tamil groups to form with the intention of launching decades of terror attacks to not allow Sri Lanka to develop and prosper as a nation of all ethnic groups. We must strengthen our security forces and intelligence and always keep a close watch of any arms smugglers sending arms across the Indian Ocean. We must not be complacent of our own Tamil politicians who might still have a mono-ethnic mind set.
