A Challenge to Kusal Perera’s Article “Until The South Learns What Democratic Rule is”
Posted on October 22nd, 2010

By Kithsiri Athulathmudali, Florida, USA

This article appeared in the on line version of Sunday Leader on September 19th 2010 http://www.thesundayleader.lk/2010/09/19/until-the-%e2%80%98south%e2%80%99-learn

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ If Kusal Perera wrote this article with the notion, that Mahinda Rajapaksa acted within Sri Lankan constitution and did not go an inch outside of the constitution, he will not have a job at the ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Sunday LeaderƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚. The owners of the ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Sunday LeaderƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ would have not allowed him to publish it. Going by the comments of NANABST on the comments section of the article, you get Kappan from a Western NGO. So, my statement above is not applicable. At least in my opinion, this article was written for the consumption of INDIANS and the Colombo Colonial English speaking populace and not for Sri Lankans living abroad, who do not have access to the printed media and have only access to Sri Lanka news on the internet. And this is why you are getting this challenge from a Sinhala American.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Difference between Sinhala and Sinhalese

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ I will write the first two sentences of the article for the benefit of the readers. ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-This is all about politics in the Sinhala South. Sinhala politics that decide the countryƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s future. Tamil-Muslim aspirations may live in the periphery, at the mercy of the SinhaleseƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚. You start the sentence with Sinhala and end the sentence with Sinhalese. You do this subconsciously because our forefathers were programed in 1815 to call Sinhala Sinhalese. (Ref: Dr. Sudath Gunasekara: ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ September 20th 2010ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-The Kandyan Convention and the legality of the Royal Proclamation and Constitutions enacted thereafter?ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ http://www.lankaweb.com/news/items/2010/09/20/) I refer to the above article, on item 3. After the surrender to the British in 1875, all lands were made to own by the British Crown. A man, whose land was taken over by the British, wrote a letter to the Government Agent (GA) stating that this property was given to him by the Sinhala King. The Government Agent, in his reply not only stated that this land is now owned by the British Crown and also this man cannot refer to himself as SINHALA, because Ceylon is now owned by the British and SINHALA has a lease to the lands in Ceylon. In future written communications, you must refer to yourself as SINHALESE. This is because you SINHALA have a lease to Ceylon and any citizen can be deported to another country just like the way we deported your king Sri Wickrama Rajasinha. This Government Agent (GA) went further by issuing a Memorandum to this effect and got a Magistrate to notarize it. The funny side of this story is that this DUM ENGLISH GA and the DUM ENGLISH MAGISTRATE could not spell. What they wanted on it was SINHALEASE and not SINHALESE. I got this from ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Kata-KathaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ handed down from generation to generation and do not have solid proof of it, but this memorandum is achieved in the British museum, in an area where no researcher can have access to.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Mudisooda MannanƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s Kingdom, Northern and Eastern Provinces of Sri Lanka

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Why I brought this ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-SINHALAƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ issue to the open; is to highlight the evolutionary process; which takes a painstakingly slow movement, took a dramatic turn starting in and around 2005 to a lighting fast speed in January 2009 to create a historic milestone for the SINHALA on May 19th 2009. ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Pre May 19th 2009, one could argue that Sinhala lived in an imaginary world thinking that they had the whole country to themselves. On the contrary, they were living in, which I call a Virtual Reality. To explain this further, I refer to a speech by Indian Home Minister P. Chidambaram, on July 2010 as reported in the ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Outlookindia.comƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ I quote from the web site http//:news.outlookindia.com/item.aspx?687850 as ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Slain LTTE Leader V.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Prabharakeran, would have been Mudisooda Mannan (Un Crowned King) of Northern and Eastern provinces of Sri Lanka had he accepted the 1987 Indo-Sri Lankan agreement or escaped to Tami Nadu during the final stages of the warƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚. He said this to a cheering crowd in Virudhunager on July 17th 2010. He also said Prabhakeran was Not INDIAƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢S ENEMY, but a respected friend. Mudisooda MannanƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s Kingdom was Real and the Virtual part is Sinhala thinking that whole of Sri Lanka belongs to them. This kingdom had its army, navy and an Air Force. Also civil law courts, Police and tax collection, and a banking system with its own currency. Banking system was masterminded by Hatton National Bank where money laundererƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s like Pramadase and Chindrica had bank accounts.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  I hope the reader can now understand what Virtual Reality means. On this great day May 19th 2009, brave Sri Lankan armed forces killed the Mudisooda Mannan and captured his kingdom, thus shattering the dream of Jawaharlal Nehru, to create the GREATER TAMIL NADU.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Sinhala South

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Now to the next part of the sentence. You state ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-it is all about politics in the Sinhala SouthƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚. This Sinhala South came to light only after Mahinda Rajapakse became the president. CanƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t you see Sinhala living in other parts of the country voted for him? His former Prime Minister is from Western Province and present Prime Minister is from Kandy. How could this be southern only Sinhala Politics? In the next sentence you state ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Tamil Muslim AspirationsƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ This matharay you picked up from Robert Blake but his comments were slightly different he did not add Muslims. It was Tamils and Tamils only. I hope you read the comments by an angry Muslim on your web site. I will write his comments for the readers benefit. Comments by Nanabst: ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Why the hell you try to drag Muslims to your mess? When did we Muslims try to buckle this countryƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s development? All Tamil aspirations are breaking this country in to two which is their dream and we all know that. For god sake leave us alone, when you work in western NGO tracks.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Political Chivalry Man- Ship of J.R. Jayawardena and Mahinda Rajapkse

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Now to the next paragraph. I will write it again for the benefit of the reader. ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-No elected MP to the Parliament was provided with even a copy of the 18th Amendment in AdvanceƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚. This is called political Chivalry-Manship and certainly not chicanery, as you portray this act.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Mahinda took a page from J. R. JayawardenaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s play book and modified it to fit the present day situation with the Indians, and played it according to the play book rules. Why did Mahinda go to India few months ago, it was to show the 18th amendment to the Indian clowns.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Remember what J. R. Jayawardena did when Rajiv Gandhi gave an ultimatum to him and said that if you do not pass the 13th and the 17th amendments India will occupy the whole of Sri Lanka and nullify your constitution. J.R. Jayawardena did not know what to do other than to show the amendments to the members of the parliament on the same day, the voting was carried out in the parliament.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  With J.R. JayawardenaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Chivalry-Manship, he master minded for the benefit of Sinhala; generations to come will not be able to implement these two amendments because they contradict the constitution. At least in my opinion, he would have thought, one day a president will emerge to attack, kill ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Modisooda Mannan and capture his Kingdom. (The, so called Northern Province) No Sri Lankan media person can understand the value of the Sri Lankan Constitution. Late J. R. Jayawardena and his unique cabinet formulated it to create a unique electoral process where the elected leader is by the people and for the people and not by a committee of elected parliamentarians who can be bought and sold in the open market. First to adapt a constitution that elected its leader by the people was United States of America. ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Parliamentary system was created originally to safe guard the Monarchy. Monarchs are buffered by the parliament and a Prime Minister thus, if there is an uprising, it is directed to the Prime Minister.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Mihinda Rajapkse did not act out side of the constrains, that were laid down by the Sri LankaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s Great Constitution.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ One has to go deeply in to the Sinhala thinking process and try to figure out why this great constitution is called ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Bahubutha ConstitutionƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚. Why, it is because they could not comprehend the value of their Sovereign State.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Up to the day, the new constitution was passed; Sinhala lived in a de-facto state without knowing that Sri Lanka is not a Sovereign State. What J.R.Jayawardena did was to create a Real State from a de-facto state. To achieve this Real State, he and his cabinet realized that there must be a real democratic constitution elected by the people and for the people. At that time J.R. Jayawrdane or any one in his cabinet did not envisage that India will sabotage this newly created constitution and make it a ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-BhuboothaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ constitution. Taking this to account, one cannot put the blame on J.R. Jayawardena and his cabinet not letting the people know the difference between the de-facto state and Real State is; and what this new constitution is all about. Then, explain to them that the whole country, Republic of Sri Lanka did not belong them and they will have to fight and get it back. Before the British came and captured the Kingdom in 1815, there were many Sinhala villages in existence in the Northern Province. Today there are no Sinhala villages in the Northern Province.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ At the time of establishing the new constitution, Tamil Nadu Tamils did not want this conversion of de-facto state to Real State because if it becomes strong, like today, they will have no chance of creating the Greater Tamil Nadu. India tried to derail the Sri Lanka government in legal and illegal methods, starting in 1939 Jawaharlal Nehru who wrote a constitution to create a Tamil Only areas in Sri Lanka. Since 1939 what India has done so far to destabilize the country and the constitution has failed and Sri Lanka is a Sovereign State which is now under threat of economic sabotage by Indians. For the Sri Lankan media to understand the transition that took place on May 19th 2009, they will have to understand a subject called Augmented Reality (AR) and it is beyond the scope of this article, even with a simple explanation. If one understands this subject then one can compare the Indian Constitution to Sri Lankan constitution and show that the Indian constitution is description of a loosely coupled system where the actual citizen has no say in how the government functions.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ One last thing that irate me was the following sentence: ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-UNP is a party that was structured by JRJ to go along with his 1978 Constitution and for 32 years, had no democratic functioning. The Athulathmudali-Dissanayake led revolt against Pramadasa in 1991 was precisely due to Pramadasa the party dictator.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ Now, like the Muslim who left a Comment for your article, Nanabst, who was very angry because you dragged the Muslims into your article. You dragged Lalith and Gamine to your one sided ill-informed article as a filler. Again to write about what happened in Pramadasa time; is beyond the scope of this article. In brief what happened at that time was as follows:ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚

  1. Pramadase went to J. R. JayawardenƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s secretariat with his armed guards and told him to his face, ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-If you do not give me the presidency, I will set fire to the whole country and ask IndianƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s to take over the parliament. ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…- J. R. Jayawardena could not move in any way, but to heed to Premadase. This is why J. R. Jayawardena resigned from the UNP and retired.
  2. If Pramadase was impeached; then the army Premadase had inside the army, would have taken over the country and proclaimed Pramadase as the civilian head of the country and nullify the constitution
  3. Lalith would have won the election easily without any doubt. If that happened Pramadase knew he would be charged with treason for giving military equipment to Prbhakeran when Ranjan Wijayatne was out of the country in Pakistan, buying military equipment for the SL army.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  He would have been jailed for life or hanged. What options did Pramadse have other than to kill Lalith? Which he did successfully. He did the same to Garmine and Mr. Pramachandra.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ To conclude, if the comment written by NANABST is true, then you are in the pay roll of INDIAN RAW.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  To summarize; in your article you attempted to confuse the reader and offended many.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚

  1. You insulted Mrs. Bandaranayake, (Katcheve Island hero) by fabricating a story of the state pharmaceutical Corporation. Then you used the word ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Drug CartelsƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ to refer to some factious entity. We in America use this word to refer to narcotics and crack cocaine dealers in South America. Pharmaceutical companies are not referred as drug cartels.
  2. You insulted the Sri Lanka Constitution. If not for this constitution there would be suicide bombers every week, every month. Do you want your democracy you describe and suicide bombers or you want the democracy, by the people for the people that gave the vested power to the elected president to wipe out the suicide bomber out of the face of Sri Lanka?
  3. You insulted J. R. Jawardena who fathered the Constitution and to bring it to a fruitful conclusion, he had to overcome internal and external saboteurs. Two crooks in the cabinet, Pramadase and Ronie de Mel (Hunter & Company fame). Then the external threat, Rajiv Gandhi determined to make fun out of Sinhala majority and their leader wrote the 13th and 17th amendments and forced it down the throat of J. R. Jayawardena and told him; we can conquer you country in two hours.
  4. You created a platform to attack Mahinda Rajapkse. Ask yourself this question; who attacked and captured the rest of the country (Mudisooda MannanƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s Kingdom) , so the Sinhala as a whole can be proud to say that the whole country is now ours and specifically Tamils can live as a minority with all the minority rights they have now. This victory or the 18th amendment has nothing to do with Southern Sinhala.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ In the days before Ceylon became independent, planned demise of Sinhala by Jawaharlal Nehru and his family tree up to the great granddaughter Priyanka shows the implied ignorance of Sinhala history. Therefore Tamil Nadu Tamils and an average Indian thought Sinhala could not wake up one day and take back their country. Unfortunately Kusal Perera is blind folded by his paymasters.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ I am a Sinhala American, so when a challenge is put forward, it has to be answered. So, Kusal please send your rebuttal to editor@lankaweb.com they will certainly publish it.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Disclaimer: I do not know President Rajapkse, I have never met him, and I do not know any of his family members. I am not a relative of Mahinda Rajapkse. Quit rightly, I am defending the Sri Lanka Constitution, the Sri Lanka Presidency, founder president of the republic and the current elected President.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚

  1. Malinda Says:

As a fellow journalist, newspaper columnist and a rspected intellectual in Sri Lanka, I stand up for Kusal.
Your half-baked rubbish is not worth commenting upon by Kusal or me. THe Sunday Leader does not ask him to do any thing.

We accept your disclaimer because President Rajapakse does not associate with hyenas. We know you are a Sinhala American ‘agent’.

Write under your real identity if you are not a coward.

    Malinda

  2. callistus Says:

I disagree with you Malinda Seneviratne this time. This is a good and informative article. I am sure Malinda, you will regret for your comment in hindsight. Also you keep saying a ‘respected intellectual’ about yourself, and this is not the first time I have seen. A true ‘intellectual’ doesn’t have to brag. I know you have studied in Harvard, and you are an educated man, but why brag. And you will lose respect.

  3. Anura Says:

I used to enjoy Malinda Seneviratnes’ articles and thought he is an itellectual. But with he comments he has given here I changed my mind. I wonder how many self designated respected interlectuals are there in Sri Lanka. I agree with what Kithsiri has to say and Kusal should accept the chlange.

  4. Ben_silva Says:

Good informative article by kithsiri, although te accuracy of some statements may be difficult to verify. If Praba was given the North and the East, within a matter of few more years, the whole of Sri Lanka would have fallen to Tamils/Indians and the Sinhalese would have been second class citizens in their own country, just as they were under the British. This would be a shame as we just escaped British imperialism and then fall to Tamil imperialism within a short time. Some Sinhalese may indeed live in a virtual reality situation as pointed out by you,as some have not realised the precarious situation we were in.
Any one visiting Pettah, hill country, Wellawatte and Colombo will notice how much has been lost to Tamils. I have nothing against Tamils but my concern is at this rate of decline, the Sinhalese may not have a place to go to. Reasons for the decline has to be investigated and corrective action taken. Any comments as to the reasons for our decline, since the Anuradhapura era.?

  5. Malinda Says:

    Calistus

Sorry if you are finding my self description as a brag.

The reason why I keep reminding the Sri Lankans of my record is because no one seems take me seriously. Especially other intellectuals like Dayan Jayatilleke, Kumar David etc. Also the time I got assaulted by the polic durng my JVP days, I found that the police were laughing at me as an Amerikan Karaya.

I have been to Harvard, but I do not have a Harvard degree as most people in Sri Lanka seem to believe.

I am just a pure Sinhal Buddhist who is prepared to die for it.

    Please spread the word.

    Malinda

Kithsiri Athulathmudali is a well know person in Florida. He was in Toronto, Canada in early 80ies and a number of occasions I met him in Toronto. If Ahulatmudali is related to the politician Athulathmudali’s family, I can believe him 100%. So, Malinda, Even if you have not completed your education in USA, at least, you should know by now, how to react to other’s point of view. Challenge him on points that he has raised in his articles, but not your identity problems.

  7. DrPadmaWijesekara Says:

    Anura
Don’t call them intellectuals. Journalists, whether they are pro government or anti-government, they are all con artists. It may be possible that Kusal and Malinda are one and the same person. GOSL and Rajapakse’s should take a note of it. If it is true, not only the police, we all should laugh at him and call him a CIA man.

  8. herman Says:

    Dear Mahinda,

Sorry if you’re really a “pure Sinhal Buddhist”, “journalist”, “ respected intellectual” you will certainly not resolve to name calling the writer -“hyenas” and “Sinhala American ‘agent’” but refute the points he raised.

  9. callistus Says:

Oh Dear Malinda. I am sorry if I hurt your feelings. I am one person who admires you, and I am in your mailing list as well, and I read almost all of your articles posted to me. Why don’t you write to this forum, you will make good contributions that people here will want to hear.

  10. Ben_silva Says:

The person commenting as Malinda is not Malinda Seneviratne.

  11. Sirih Says:

Pls. try to respect other peoples opinion and stop using abusive language to other people even though you do not agree to his views… If you are with intellect try to use that for your argument.. Thats the first thing they teach at the Uni.

Kithsiri’s is article is good and try to use your intellect towards foreign funded Colombians who are hell bend on appeasing foreign powers.. These people just speak little english and most of them are from Christian background behave like they are from Venus… They don’t even celebrate Sinhalese new year.. There are good Christians that are great patriots and they put country first and region 2nd…

  12. jayt Says:

    reply to Ben,
Ben, our decline came slowly after 400 years of colony, there was no Sinhalese hierarchy to take responsibly to reintroduce our lost noble heritage back and build Sri lanka into a powerful imperialist nation. Once we were a powerful imperialists nation.

After 1948, some Indian extremists saw Sri lanka is excellent place to conspire because Sinhalese are week and have no ideas or interest to build the nation with powerful army with deadly nuclear weapon to meet modern cunning conspirators around the world. And South Indian Tamil who have been trying for Sri lanka for centuries laugh and danced in 1948, saying now Sinhalese along and it is a good time to go back.

  13. Malinda Says:

    NeelaMahaYoda,

I know about you too. I am surprised that Kithsiri Athulathmudali’s authentication did not come from Susan-tha Wijesinghe who also authenticated Dr Jayatunga. Ha Ha. Why? thulathmudali seems to be a well travelled ghost. Is ‘kit atul’ a relative by any chance?

The hyena who writes under hundreds of different ghost names needs to realise that intelligent intellectuals like us can easily discover the true identity. Their lack of guts and mental problems are sprayed on to this website, damaging its credibility. kankaweb was a good site until this mental patient started polluting it under ghost names.

Apparently, like me, the cemetary dweller was abandoned by his father when he was young, causing these identity problems. Hope he will keep out of this site.

    Malinda Ghost

  14. Charles Says:

Kithsiri has written an important article . It gives lot of material for us to think on political undercurrents. Kithsiri is well informed. His interest in the political history of Sri Lanka is far greater than any young pretentious self proclaimed intellectuals. People do not read articles because of a writers educational qualifications or his intellectual capacity.

I do not read the Sunday Leader. I read Kusal Perera once in the Transcurrent webside, and he put me off. I do not read his articles any more.

Malinda Seneviratne – if it is the one who writes to Daily News, I read him often. I like his style of writing. I did not read him for his qualifications or his intelligence or intellectual capacity.

It is acceptable that a journalist writes in defence of another, but in doing so he should neither be pompous nor rude. I am surprised “this” Malinda is both. If he is a gentlemen he should apologise to Kithsiri Athulathmudali.

  15. Lorenzo Says:

Is Malinda, Malinda Seneviratne or someone else intent on discrediting Malinda Seneviratne?

This is not the first time Malinda has posted comments that is calculated to discredit Malinda Seneviratne.

  16. Malinda Says:

You don’t have to worry Lorenzo. It is the same maker who made you!

No one can discredit me because my contributions to this forum (articles under the names Dr Disssanayake, Ben Silva and many thers, and all the comments) are under about 200 different names. I only right under my name to Sri Lankan newspapers because that rubbish does not matter any way.

As I keep saying, I am a reputed journalist, intellectual and philosopher, living on the name of my father (who unfortunately left me twice). I am not a graduate of any university.

Sad isn’t it Lorenzo, Callistus, jayt and other ghosts of my creation.

    Malinda

  17. Sri Rohana Says:

    Dear Kithsiri
It is a good logical article. Your reply to Kusal is with logic and he is another Sunanda type pro RAW, Pro- tamil expansionist, NGO journalist I noticed.
When Kusal was in Nava Samamaja party with Vasu somewhere in 1985 era I read some of his articles and those were logical and with correct facts. But later he wrote in favor of corrupted Chandrika (Mary Antoinette of Sri Lanka) and Mangala. These leftists started politics with proletarian revolution but end up in reactionary UNP or American Embassy or Indian High Commission.

  18. Kit Athul Says:

Thank you Sri Rohana for your comments. You and Charles understood what I have written. Sri Rohana hit the nail on the head. US Embassy and the Indian High Commission are the vermin spreaders against the Sri Lanka Constitution and the Rajapkse administration. Notion of this article was to show that Sinhala lived in an imaginary world without a country or a constitution. With the Republic and its constitution, the sovereign State of Sri Lanka became a Real State from a De-facto State. Yet, they did not have the rights to the whole country, until Mudisooda Mannan was killed and his Kingdom Captured on MAY 19th 2009. I hope readres concentrate on what I have written like Charles and Sri Rohana. Neela Maha Yodda mistook me for a relative who lived in Canada. I did not live in Canada. I live in USA. For any one’s information, there is another Kithsiri Athulathmudali living in Los Angelse, California.

Chrales is my mentor. Sri Rohana, you are a great inspirator.

  19. Sri Rohana Says:

    Thank you Kithsiri,
As most of Lanka web members I love Sri Lanka and I am proud to be a member of Sinhala nation.
Our enemies are still active and only Prabakaran’s racist tamil movement is dead at this moment. But other enemies who created Prabakaran have not given up the idea of destabilize Sri Lanka. RAW, Indian expansionists, dravidanadu movement, tamil nadu movement, Britain, MI6, BBC, USA, CIA, Norway, Amnesty International, UNO, Human Right Watch, NGO’s, INGO’s, Sunday Leader, UNP, TNA and JVP are friends but all are our enemies and they are against Sri Lanka.
Our duty is to expose who our enemies are and what their agendas and defend Sri Lanka.
Kith you did beautifully that job against Sunday Leader’s Kusal. Cheers.

  20. D Godage Says:

    Writing on behalf of Malinda.

I forgot previously I did not mention that Kit Athul and Kithsiri are the same person.

I am such a mental patient sometimes I want to punish my self!

    Sorry.

    D Godage

  21. Lorenzo Says:

What on earth is this Malinda?

“No one can discredit me because my contributions to this forum (articles under the names Dr Disssanayake, Ben Silva and many thers, and all the comments) are under about 200 different names. I only right under my name to Sri Lankan newspapers because that rubbish does not matter any way.

As I keep saying, I am a reputed journalist, intellectual and philosopher, living on the name of my father (who unfortunately left me twice). I am not a graduate of any university.

Sad isn’t it Lorenzo, Callistus, jayt and other ghosts of my creation.”

Now I’m totally convinced you are not Malinda Seneviratna. Please take your personal battles somewhere else.

  22. Malinda Seneviratne Says:

Not sure who this person writing as ‘Malinda Seneviratne’ is, but anyone who is familiar with the tone and content of my columns would know he/she is someone else pretending to be the person who writes regular columns to the Daily News, Sunday Observer, Daily Mirror, Lakbima News, The Nation and the Sunday Island. There’s an easy way to settle the issue. Since Malinda Seneviratne writes a daily column to the Daily News, let this person post his/her article BEFORE the Daily News carries it the following day. :)

This is just to alert people to this matter. Personally, I really don’t care about such mischief makers or mischief-making. Wrote it all down in an article that appears in today’s Daily News:

    http://www.dailynews.lk/2011/01/18/fea02.asp

    cheers
Malinda (who has no issues with his father!)
