Captain Fallen from Grace to Utter Disgrace.

The Sri Lankan Diaspora in Australia still remembers how Arjuna Ranatunga as captain of the Sri Lanka Cricket team was booed by the Australian public be it in Melbourne, Sydney or Adelaide. They hated him more than Murali. But yet, Sri Lankan Diaspora stood behindƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Arjuna and his team at every venue by booing the Australians as counter action. Now the same person did come to Australia with a JVP MP Anura Dissanayake, ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ knelt down to Australian politicians and begged to do something against the present Rajapaksa Government. What a come down for a head strong captain to beg the Australians who ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ booed Arjuna whenever he walks in to the field.
The JVP along with DNA Arjuna have had some meetings arranged in Melbourne and Sydney which wereƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ poorly attended. ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ItƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s a pity to see that Arjuna who hated Australians so much because of cricket had gone down kneeling and seeking help to oust Rajapaksa Government (he is day dreaming). Sri Lanka is the only country where politicians and NGOs bring their grievances to the western world to seek redress to achieve their political gains.. ItƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s a shame for a person like Arjuna to wash dirty linen (if there is)in Australian public.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Sri Lankans are pretty aware that Arjuna turned against Rajapaksa because he was not given the Sports Ministry commensurate with his leadership and skills. But, had he waited in patience for little more time, he could have been the sports minister of the now Rajapaksa Government. So itƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s kind of vendetta against Mahinda Rajapaksa. but no one now cares about his bankrupt political views aligned with DNA and JVP. Undoubtedly, he was a great cricketer once but a naive politician.. Following the foot path of Sarath Fonseka ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ falling from hero to a traitor, Captain Arjuna Ranatunga has also fallen from Grace to Utter Disgrace.

Arjuna is another Traitor like Ranil & Jayalath Jayawerdena. They think MR will care any of those foreign forces. Let them bark on moon.

THE SO CALLED “CAPT. COOL” PROVED ALL ALONG THAT HE WAS A POLITICAL STOOGE AND EVEN PROVED HIMSELF SO ON THE PLAYING FIELD WHEN HE STOPPED PROCEEDINGS IN A CRICKET MATCH TO CALL UP HIS HON. PRESIDENT OF THE COUNTRY TO OBTAIN A CRICKETTING DECISION THAT HE WAS INCAPABLE OF MAKING AS THE WORTHY CAPTAIN OF HIS CRICKET TEAM IN FRONT OF A WOLD-WIDE AUDIENCE. THIS WAS HIS UTTER DISGRACE – DO YOU SUPPOSE THAT HE COULD RISE ABOVE THIS NOW THAT HE IS A FULL FLEDGED FLITHY POTICIAN & NO SPORTSMAN OR GENTLEMEN. THERE IS NO REDEMPTION NOW THAT HE IS IN THE GUTTERS.
