In an exclusive interview with Prime Minister Stephen Harper the page one of today’s (13 Jan.)ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Ottawa Citizen says;“On border security, he insisted that Canada-US discussions now under way are notƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ a threat to this country’s sovereignty and are needed to strengthen protection from terrorists….”

However, on page A3 of the newspaper you reported that “Two more Sri Lankans who arrived in Canada lastƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ August aboard the smuggling ship MV Sun Sea have been identified as suspected members of the Tamil Tigers rebels.”ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ I note that you have been generous to call the Tamil Tigers “rebels” when the rest of the world including the UN designated them as “terrorists”.

The question remains that if Stephen Harper is concerned about Canada’s sovereignty and protect Canada from terrorists,ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ it is a no brainer how to deal with these two Tamil Tigers.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Canada doesn’t want terrorists.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Put them on the next plane out and send them off to Thailand, the country from where MV Sun Sea originated.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Let the Thailand government deal with them.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The bottom line is Canada does not want terrorists to make a home in our great country and create trouble for us.

Dear Mr. Weerasinghe: “I note that you have been generous to call the Tamil Tigers “rebels” when the rest of the world including the UN designated them as “terrorists”. This statement alone by your Mr. harper goes a long way to describing the problem you Canadians are faced with. The problem is not the Terrorists as I see it. It is people like Harper and such other Terrorists loving Canadian politicians who are creating a problem for the peace loving Canadians citizens to face in the near future. As far as Sri Lankans are concerned Canada can have all the LTTE Terrorists they want. It is a big country with enough money to spend on these Terrorists. The answer is simple enough. When the Canadians wake up from their deep slumber, they can take necessary corrective measures as Canada is a Democracy. Till then you will have to live with this problem.
