My dear Sarath,

I wrote you five open letters before.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  In one open letter I warned you of the consequences you have to suffer going against your master MR.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Look what has happened to you now.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  You have become a jail bird.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Your health has been affected severely.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Open your eyes and look at your past.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  The JVP, UNP and your other Sarath who convinced you to fight against MR are not sharing with you the agony and suffering you are going through.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Even that plum pudding Jayalalith stand on her head MR is not going to pardon you.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  To-day you are physically, mentally and financially in a ruinous state.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  You are unable to enjoy a family life for a long time to come in the twilight of your retirement.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Your life in jail is not going to end for a long time to come.

Your other Sarath factor is also hardening the mind of MR not to take your matter lightly.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  The fear psychosis of the people developed because of the other Sarath the rapist womaniser becoming your Prime Minister.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  The litigants who suffered under Sarath SilvaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s time as the CJ who hounded like a rabid dog did campaign against you although his cast factor may have played a role.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  That womaniser had more enemies than friends.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Those 48 judges who were harassed by that mad man Sarath Silva may have campaigned against you although the forces supported you.

My dear Sarath the life we have lived is more than the life we have to live.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Think very careful and make a decision.

Gaminie DissanayakeƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s wife couldnƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t become a Mrs. B.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  AshroffƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s wife couldnƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t become a Mrs. B. and JayarajƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s wife couldnƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t become a Mrs. B.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Likewise your wife will never become a Mrs. B.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  So think very carefully.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  There are so many other court cases lined up against you.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Nobody knows when you will be free from the jail.

My dear Sarath, you can never become a Nelson Mandela.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Even if you are released to-morrow, you will never be able to get back to a normal life.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  The sufferings you underwent are enormous.

Kulatunge made an attempt on your life and it backfired on him.

Dear Sarath, my sincere advice to you is swallowing your bloody pride say sorry.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  MR is also a human and not a super human.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  To-morrow you will be a free man and come back to enjoy a free and a normal life.

Yours truly

Stanley Perera

  1. douglas Says:

Mr. Sarath Fonseka’s case is a glaring example of the consequences of “Asewanacha Balanan” meaning, when you associate with impeachable charactered persons, the sufferings are immeasurable. The next irony was that he forgot himself and was overtaken by “pride”, “hatred” and “ambitions” to such an extent, he wanted to bite the hand that extended unthinkable support to him and his family. It was reported that even his daughters received US$ 1500.00 each per month from the President’s Fund for their studies in USA. When he was given ten(10) perches of prime land from Kirimandala Mawatha, he wanted 15-20 perches and that too was granted. He was also given a Benz car which he used as Army Chief for a paulty sum of money. All these and ultimately appointing him to a position in authority after retirement were appreciated by the general public – the “simple Simeons” of Sri Lanka.

Now all the “Ps” – JVP, UNP , the most corrupted other Sarath and the match maker “Avamangala” are at a far distace from him. Mr Sarath Fonseka, in that respect is a” living example” for us to take lessons and carve out a good life. I feel sorry for him, but “thank you” for showing us the wrong way of life.
