The funding received by the TRO , a well known LTTE front organization should be an important item in the discussions between the Sri Lankan Government representatives and Robert Blake, a crusader of human rights now in Sri Lanka. In fact it is an acknowledged fact that the LTTE was able to operate as a State within a Sate mainly due to the funds ,arms ƒÆ’‚£ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¡‚¬and training received from some of the Western countries including the USA.

A Wiki Leaks cable ƒÆ’‚£ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¡‚¬from the US Embassy in ƒÆ’‚£ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¡‚¬Colombo to the Department of State in Washington outlines the LTTE funding received thro the TRO.The TRO ,Lanka was blessed with US $10 million from the USA in between 2003 to 2006. 50% of the total received by the TRO was from the USA and half of this amount was from the TRO ,USA. The funds were remitted to Sri Lanka from ƒÆ’‚£ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¡‚¬TRO offices registered in Cumberland in the State of Maryland,Virgina.

According to ƒÆ’‚£ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¡‚¬document, the Raj Rajarathnam family i the USA accounted for 36.31 % of these funds.

With advanced intelligence systems available to the law enforcing authorities in the USA , Mr Blake should investigate how the funds remitted were utilized and the objectives of the USA based LTTE front organization which propelled them to action. If it is OK , Mr Blake can enlist the support of the Ch 4 and Inter City Press to unravel the TRO/LTTE operations as these are preferred sources for Blake and hos tribe.

It may be possible to link the direct number of Sri Lankans killed and maimed by the LTTE s in the war adventures fueled by the US funds. ƒÆ’‚£ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¡‚¬Mr Blake should expand his brief in Sri Lanka to include US funding of the LTTE and their war crimes.

Ranjith send your message via USA Embassy to Robert. So can investigate back in Office. I think Black had changed a lot after 3 days visit in Sri Lanka. Its good time to brief him further.

Well said, Ranjith. This guy Blake’s swallowed the bait of the ltte-rump hook, line and sinker.

  4. Lorenzo Says:

Good point but Blake will never look into it because he knows it and that’s what he wants them to do.

Illegally collected funds by LTTE throughout the world are circulating in front of Mr.Blake.
Such money transactions affects the controll of world monetary system and leads to
Terrorist activities. Until SLG defeat the LTTE all western countries supported direct or indirect LTTE.
It is better to all Mr.Blake take action against other countries who ignore the LTTE activities.

As I read some where, Suicide bomb attacks on SL army camps ( I think attacks on a loaded bowser to an army camp) had been planned on US soil and an affluent Tamil physician living in the Eastern United States had proposed it.

Those doctors are still living in the USA because they supported terrorism against other countries in the USA.

But,any one planned anything even on foreign soils are brought and prosecuted or killed.
