Why the CHOGM states who aided, supported, instigated, financed or harbored terrorists have not been expelled?

Senator Lee Rhiannon
Dear Senator,ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Those of whom you have the confidence in your misguided response, are people with glorified titles only, they are parasites living on the payroll of the LTTE Tamil Diaspora!

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ One important point I picked from your response is quote ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…- My support for an international independent investigation into war crimes by both the LTTE and the Government of Sri Lanka during the final stages of the civil war is in line with international expertsƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ Unquote. Dilemma is now that the LTTE top ranks are killed in the battle, then whom would you propose to charge for LTTE war crimes?ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Surely the Tamil Diaspora who supported LTTE over the last 26 years including your Australian Tamil Congress friend Sam Pari are in the top list should be the ones left to be charged for war crimes for supplying the lethal weapons for the continued carnage and destruction. But they are all been well supported & protected by the all the Western countries, including Greens Party of Australia, so you are talking gibberish.

Besides in March of 2002 CHOGM adopted a plan in which countries supporting terrorist groups would be expelled. They decided there is no place for any member nation that aided, supported, instigated, financed or harbored terrorists”

If this motion has been strictly implemented all the Western countries under Commonwealth of Council Nations should automatically be expelled. Hence there should be very few member states to attend the 2011 CHOGM in Perth, perhaps Sri Lankan President could chair the meeting in the absence of the UK. What a tern of events that would be? Will there be any justice for this to happen?ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ You initiated the motion to suspend Sri Lanka from the Commonwealth Council of Nations simply on the unfounded allegations. Sri Lanka went through a horrendous internal conflict for three decades with the most brutal Terrorist mob LTTE as claimed by the FBI. There were several instances where this menace could have been wiped out on earlier occasions, however the Governments on the day during this period listened to the misguided advice from the Western Nations which resulted in sacrificing lives of thousands of innocent civilians of all communities with no end to the conflict.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Seven times through the goodness of these Governments extended the Olive leaf to these terrorists, not because of a weakness in the Governments but purely through compassion to avoid the loss of life. Every time they use these periods to amass heavy artillery to wage war against the Government. Once the patience wears out there comes a time to take decisive action to put a stop to this nonsense, thatƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s the time the Government declared war after giving an amnesty period to lay down the arms and come to the negotiating table. Unfortunately this was ignored.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The Government on the day is one that had been elected by the popular ballot, therefore it cannot tolerate terms dictated by terrorists of any ethnicity, this followed the full scale attacks to eradicate the illegal LTTE movement, and the Government successfully annihilated the movement from the soil of Sri Lanka.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ A war is not fought shooting chocolates! One should expect loss of life, no war fought elsewhere in the Globe killed only the Terrorists, and the civilians become casualties as collateral damage. The powerful nations kill daily innocent people who fall under this category. Sometimes they kill unarmed innocent women, elderly, sick and the children in cold blood and get away with only a ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-sorryƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚, no one to accuse them of extra judiciary killings! It happened in Vietnam, Diargo Grarcia (chagos archipelago), Kosovo etc, and at this moment it happens in Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan and in Pakistan by the mighty USA and allied forces where UK is one among them. This is crime against humanity!

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ You seem to be someone whose heart bleeds for the Tamils of Sri Lanka. I have never seen or heard that you have raised a motion against United Kingdom to be suspended from the Commonwealth Councils of Nations! Why? Are these lives they terminate can be dispensable with? Are they vermin? You cannot deny not knowing these atrocities that happen daily even though very little has been shown on the TV, common sense tell you that happens in these countries. ItƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s against your conscience that you keep quiet.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ If you can remember (if you cared in the past) how the UK killed and chased Chagos Archipelago inhabitants from their Island of Diargo Grarcia just to allow USA to have their Command Forces in the Indian Ocean! These hypocrites who deprived inhabitants their lands do not qualify to talk of crimes against humanity and point finger at others.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Now what you have to ask yourself is when you have shown a bitter concern on Sri Lanka, is it because it pricks your conscience purely on your genuine concern or is it as a pay off for the Tamil constituents who financially contributed to your party?

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ If the answer is the latter, sad to say you have swallowed the distorted facts presented to you by the pro LTTE Tamil Diaspora. Or you are comfortable to accept their side of the story as the close chapter, never doubt the possibility of another version.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Unfortunately you are not alone in succumbing to these false propaganda, the requirement to convince the gullible by this mob is a sad face, voluntary serviceƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  & a glorified title. You cannot deny these were not the reasons you believed them.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Anyway now that I have brought to light that United Kingdom has committed atrocities that put them under the category as crimes against humanity, I await to see how your bleeding heart reacts for the loss of the lives from those countries and subsequent presentation in the Cabinet a motion declaring your disgust on Government of the UK for flouting the very laws of humanity instead of being a roll model for minor Governments! , I donƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t suggest to bring a motion for the suspension as you have already been shown the futility of such a motion, obviously once bitten twice shy is the lesson!

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Sri Lanka is a Buddhist country, the only time her leader has to be harsh is to defend the Sovereignty of the country when it is at threat. Buddhism in the only religion that teaches the disciples not to take the life of any living being but to respect and protect all living beings! However Buddhism is not an obstacle for the Leader of the country to provide the protection to her citizens with minimum damage to life. That is why Sri Lanka saved 300,000 plus civilians who ran towards the side of the Government forces seeking protection from the killers of the megalomaniac leader Prabakaran! If the defence forces were brutal as you were made to believe the hard-core LTTE cadres could have been killed rather than rehabilitated and released to the country!ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Please have an open mind and listen to the both sides of the story before passing a judgment as sensible people do! I believe lot of others too may have presented enough evidence for you to ponder upon.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Yours sincerely,

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Vajeera Warnakulasuriya

I don’t think senator Lee Rhiannon has ever heard of Chagos, Iraq, Palestine, Libya, South Africa, Apartheid or Rhodesia.

When Bob Brown tried to heckle George Bush in the Australian Parliament, a few years ago, I thought Bob Brown and the Greens had some guts to stand up to the US unlike Liberals and Labor. It was a welcoming scene and to know that there was great potential in the Green to become good politicians in Australia.

After this incident, it appears Bob Brown and the Greens became totally gutless. Not only they spew out unsubstantiated statements with regards to Sri Lanka but they also seem to parrot a script produced for them by the LTTE and their sponsors. Unfortunately, the same Bob Brown who wanted to question George Bush now appears to be not concerned about checking the facts about Sri Lanka and his henchmen now hold round table conferences with well known LTTE sympathisers in Australia!

I just wonder whether there is any coonection between the GW Bush incident and subsequent changes in Bob B’s and Greens’ political behaviour? Perhaps, the CIA boys had a word or two with Bob and politely asked him to tow the party line? May be a long shot but in the game of politics nothing is impossible. Be prepared to be surprised!
