Sinhala-Muslim relations and Izeth Hu-zany’s fantasies
Posted on October 8th, 2011

H. L. D. Mahindapala

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ In one of my earlier columns (September 3) I referred to ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-some deluded fanatics in the Muslim communityƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ but took special care to add ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-not allƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚. Izeth Hussain (IH), a former Sri Lankan diplomat, has thought it fit challenge me on this and other aspects in my column. In his response he has asked me to ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-enlighten us on who those fanatics are, and how their fanaticism is shown towards the Sinhalese?ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ Now that he has raised this question let me tell him quite bluntly that I was referring specifically to him, his like-minded friends and the anonymous Muslims (if any?) he keeps quoting each time he sets out to attack the Sinhalese as ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-racistsƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ discriminating against the Muslims, or not performing according to Islamic standards. I didnƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t want to name him earlier to spare him the pain of being referred to as ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-a deluded fanaticƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚. But since he has asked to name the ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-deluded fanaticsƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ I have no option but to give it to him straight. He asked a straight question and I have the right to give him a straight answer. No offence.

His writings indicate that he is almost paranoid about the Sinhalese. Take, for instance, his comments on the Sinhalese for dropping Mahroof from the semi-final of the last World Cup tournament. He says: ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-My complacency was rudely shaken by a Muslim friend after the conclusion of the semi-finals of the recent World Cup tournament. He thought that the inclusion of Dilhara Fernando at the expense of Mahroof clearly showed racist bias. He thought further that the performance of Fernando at the semi-final was so miserable that our cricket bosses would not dare exclude Mahroof from the final. My view, on the contrary, was that if his hypothesis about racist bias was correct Mahroof would be excluded from the final as well. He was. A couple of days after the final I happened to attend a Muslim gathering. The unanimous view was that Mahroof was the victim of racist bias, and that his inclusion in the final would probably have led to a Sri Lankan victory.

It is possible that Mahroof could have made the difference. It is also possible that he could have gone for a duck. So letƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s leave speculation out. Consider only the gist of the charge: Maharoof would not have been dropped if he was a Sinhalese. If Maharoof was dropped because he is not a Sinhalese was he included in the team initially because he was a Sinhalese? Was Murali and other non-Sinhalese included in the team because they were Sinhala-Buddhists? How many bowlers make the sign of the cross before taking off to bowl? Conversely, would the selectors have dropped Maharoof if he was a Murali or a Sanath? Including or excluding players is bound to create speculation and controversies. But it is the racist slur cast on everything that the Sinhalese do that makes Izeth quite Hoo-zany.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚

Besides, he clearly takes cover behind anonymous Muslims to show that he is a goody-goody who is merely reflecting Muslim opinion. It is doubtful that the majoirty of Muslims who have lived in harmony with the Sinhalese would share his anti-Sinhala conclusions. The comments of IH only go to prove that that there is a nasty bee in his fez which makes him feel that the rest of the nation is against IH and all the other Muslims. This is what makes him a deluded fanatic among the Muslims. Who else but a deluded fanatic would go around claiming that he is ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-among the five great diplomatsƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚, (quote-unquote), presumably in the world? By the way, can IH tell us who the other four are so that we can judge how great he is?

Consider also another example of his conduct as a ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-deluded fanatic in the Muslim community.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ When President Rajapkasa returned from abroad immediately after the defeat of Prabhakaran (May 18, 2009) and kissed the tarmac, paying his respects to his motherland, the bee in IHƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s fez began to buzz again. He went bananas and decried that act as something below the standard set by Sultan Mohammed II who poured sand over his head after he conquered Constantinople in 1452. His argument was that President Rajapaksa should have poured sand over his head, like his Sultan, instead of kissing the tarmac. Why? He said: ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-It occurred to me that the tarmac is not the sacred soil of Sri Lanka but a product of Western technology.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ How zany can Hoo-zany be?

Besides, is this an argument worthy of ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-one of the five great diplomatsƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ of the world, or even Sri Lanka? Technology and science ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” like the great works of art– belong to the whole of humanity. Will Hoo-zany reject penicillin as a product of the technology of the Christian West? Will he reject Christian BarnardƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s heart surgery because it came from the West? The intellectal power of the great Islamic culture contributed to the growth of science and philosophy, especially when the Catholics plunged Europe in total darkness in the Middle Ages. It was the Islamic scholars who kept the light of learning burning and leading the way out of that Catholic darkness. For instance, St. Thomas Aquinas, copied verbatim from Avicenna and Averroes, the Aristotelian logic to rationalize and justify the existence of God. ArenƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t all this taken as a part of human heritage? The Chinese invented the compass, the printing press, the civil service, gun powder, rudimentary rocket science etc. The West borrowed it and conquered the rest of the world, according to Prof. Joseph Needham. Human knowledge is borrowed and circulated, for better or for worse, and for Hoo-zany to dismiss the tarmac as a part of Western technology confirms that his vacuous, vainglorious mind has no valid reasoning to justify his accusations. In any case, how can having a sand bath be superior to the symbolic act of kissing the tarmac?

Concocting excuses to blame the Sinhala-Buddhist has been the common trick of all NGO hacks and dip-low-mutts (e.g., Hoo-zany, Neville Jayaweera etc.) who are supposed to have defended the country, right or wrong. I wonder how faithful he was in serving the nation as an ambassador in various countries if he was so obsessed with his anti-Sinhala-Buddhist sentiments. Would he have said the same things if he was appointed to represent President Rajapaksa in some foreign state? Or is he peeved that as ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-one of the five great diplomatsƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ (according to his own advertisement) he has not been given another stint as a dip-low-mutt abroad?

Hoo-zany is not only against the Sinhalese but he was also against the only Muslim Foreign Minister, A. C. S. Hameed, my good friend. It was common knowledge in the Foreign Ministry that Hameed had put him in a corner for trying to be bigger than a backroom boy drafting some copy for the ministers or for some conference etc. He then sidled up to Mrs. Sirimavo Bandaranaike and got a second chance as ambassador to Moscow though he was not in the foreign service. I am sure he would not have levelled these anti-Sinhala-Buddhist charges when he went with fez in hand to get the ambassadorial appointment from Mrs. Bandaranaike, eh?

I wonƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t be surprised if he comes back at me citing my metaphorical reference to his fez as an anti-Muslim attack. As a product of Prof. LudowykeƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s faculty of English he would know that IƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢m only giving the popular English idiom a local touch to add a bit of colour and that it not my intention to attach any communal connotation to it. But he sees words, phrases, popular ditties as signs of anti-Muslim racism. For instance, in our salad days all students in secondary or tertiary institutions have sung pop songs like Tambige toppiah bambowa waagey / Tambi natana kota sembuwa wagey, or Abdul Hameed doomi-domitum / Sala Malai kumƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚¦along with Sinhalaya modaya / Kavun Kanda yodaya etc. We did not participate in these half-inebriated jollifications as anti-communal acts but as merry-making events with students of all communities joining in the fun. Certainly, there were no political or communal agendas attached to this fun. These are different from the Marxists marching down Galle Road shouting: Dudleygay baday masawadai. But in his writings IH refers to these merry-making ditties as horrendous signs of anti-Muslim racism. Can he point out a single culture which does not have these kinds of communal references?

One day, not so long ago, my distinguished friend, Dr. A.M.M. Sahabdeen, CCS, revealed to us at his lavish dinner table how the Muslims inside the Galle Fort look down upon the Muslims outside the Fort. Does this mean that the insiders are anti-Muslim? These attitudes are not reflections of communalism. These are attitudes common to all communities/groups/cliques/cabals etc., where insiders are in the habit of placing the outsiders in an imaginary hierarchy that grades the insiders invariably above the outsiders. Of course, in some systemic hierarchies (e.g., institutionalized caste) there are serious socio-political consequences, as in the case of the Vellahlas of Jaffna whose imaginary sense of superiority has caused untold suffering to all communities. But can IH demonstrate how the ditty ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Tambigay toppiyaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚¦ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚, for instance, caused disruptions in Sinhala-Muslim relations?

Accusing me of being ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-under some sort of compulsion to fault the Muslims, somehowƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ he asks me to provide proof of ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-the muezzins rush(ing) to raise false alarms from minarets at the first beat of the traditional drums of the Sinhala-Buddhists that go past latter-day mosques built on the profits earned from the Sinhalese.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ Here too I was referring to his comments recently of the Muslims of Wellawatte objecting to the drums being beaten as they pass their precincts. He adds that this happened 60 years ago and he wants me to provide instances of drum-beating type in recent times.

This is typical of Hoo-zany logic. He knows that violence does not repeat itself in the same place, at the same time in the same manner all the time. Violence can manifest itself in various ways in various places at different times. In 2001, for instance, Muslim men set alight shops belonging to the Sinhalese in Muttur. There was another Sinhala-Muslim clash in Beruwela. I do not consider any of these instances as anything more than soda-bottle eruptions caused by heightened local tensions of the time. The Sinhala-Muslim relations have been very cordial, except unfortunately in 1915 which was a mere storm in a tea cup that was blown up due to the panic-stricken British mishandling it as a revolt against their monarch in UK. In any case, it was the Sinhalese who were at the receiving end of the British rifle butts with innocent Sinhala leaders being shot on the whims and fancies of colonial justice.

The bitter ideological and communal frictions have been between the Jaffna Tamils and the Muslims. At the turn of the 20th century the Jaffna leadership tried the political trick of subsuming the Muslims as Tamils from S. India. This would have brought the Muslims not only under the hegemony of the Jaffna Tamils but also given them the advantage of claiming more seats for Tamils in the Legislative Council. To their credit, it must be acknowledged that the Muslims have fought back successfully to retain their separate identity. Besides, the Jaffna Tamil leadership had launched genocidal attacks on the Muslims in the north and the east. The ethnic cleansing of Muslims in Jaffna and the massacres of Muslim worshippers in Kathankuddy are not likely to be forgotten by the Muslims in a hurry. But, oddly enough, Rauf Hakeem went, almost on his bended knees, to sign an agreement with Prabhakaran. What benefit did the Muslims get from this? It may have given personal protection to the Hakeem who was exposed in the east. But the Muslim people were left at the mercy of Prabhakaran.

This ill-fated agreement signaled to the Sinhalese, rightly or wrongly, that the Muslim leadership was ganging up with Prabhakaran. Hakeem didnƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t sign the agreement to fill some blanks in the paper. Obviously, he must have expected some benefits to accrue to him though he was left high and dry with nothing to his credit. He couldnƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t even get a single displaced Muslim back to Jaffna. Once again the Muslims evicted from Jaffna found refuge only in the south.

While the Jaffna Tamils were slaughtering or ethnically cleansing Jaffna of Muslims Sinhala electorates were electing Muslims as their representative in Parliament. But characters like Hoo-zany see only the Sinhalese discriminating against the Muslims. If Hoo-zany has nothing better to do he must not do it in public mainly because his inanities can create unwanted communal animosities. If he wants to big note himself by peddling his paranoia he should confine it to the tiniest possible place. Perhaps, his toilet.

Islamic culture globally and in Sri Lanka has produced great men of learning and understanding. I am afraid that Hoo-hoo-zany, despite his claim to be one of ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-the five great diplomatsƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚, is not one of them.

    Well said Mr Mahinthapala.

IH is a Muslim racist. That is why he does not have majority Muslim support.

Almost all the Muslims are peace loving, law abiding people. IH type of mental cases cannot disturb that.

  2. rohana Says:

Mr. Mahindapala I salute you for the courage to talk about this threat from the extreme muslims of Sri Lanka to the Sinhalese. These muslims have no fear to break every rule in the country in the name of Allah. Imams are involved in this conspiracy. I have plenty of evidence from what is happening in Gampola. I have photos of a mosque built over the publlic road where even the buddhist monks with Buddha dhathu have to walk under the muslims standing inside the mosque. Please send me your email address and I will forward all the photos taken. This is at Bibile road Gampola. I raised it with the UNP Mayor and he is putting the blame on others muslim councilors and no one want to take correct action to rectify this. what if this was done by a buddhist temple they will call blue murder. Sinhalese cannot do anyhting in our own country.

I challenge Mr. Izeth Hussain to demolish this unlawful mosque built illegally in the name of Allah by the Imamas the very people who is suppose to teach the people to do the right thing. The law of the country very clearly states that before 0600am no one is allowed to use Loudspeakers, but it appears this rule does not apply to the muslim Immams who blast their loudspeakers from 0500am disturbing the babies and old people of their sleep and the health.

  3. Dham Says:

Sinhala Buddhist are pampering muslims too much.
There is no other country in the world, no other city in the world which tolarates Muslim calling “ALLAH Hu AKbar” loud and annoying (to non-muslims) at 5.30 in the morning even on Sundays.
What is the percentage of Muslims in Sri Lanka ?
How if the Buddhist community of Saudi Arabia set up Pirith loud of just Vesak day ?

  4. jayt Says:

By the way, why Mahroof was dropped? Any foreign influence?

  5. jayt Says:

I hope this articles won,t be used by foreigners as a breeding ground.

  6. Lorenzo Says:

Most commentators have not understood the article.

    It is not against Muslims.

It is against one joker who is disgruntled with not having corruption opportunities.

  7. Ariya Says:

When the Muslim men came over to Lanka in the ancient days, they didn’t bring with them any women, who they consider as half a man. They married the Sinhalese and Tamil women and settled in Lanka. So, today’s Muslim men don’t have so much Arab blood, bit nearly 90% Sinhala and Tamil blood, after so many years of intermarriage.

His Prophet Muhammad had said the world was flat as a bed and the sun hides itself in a muddy field far away. Everyone knows that the Earth is round, so no one can really direct his gaze toward ANy point in this Earth, except when he stands/sits/bends few thousand meters from a point. If a Muslim man bends from Colombo towards Mecca, his gaze would never touch Mecca, it cannot move in a curved line. Our eyes can see upside down only in a direct way, NEVER in a curved way.

So, first of all let this Izath think about why his Prophet or Gabriel, who allegedly spoke to him didn’t know that this Earth was round. And also why he said that the Sun goes around the Earth and the Earth was the center of the Universe. He may also ask himself why the ‘god’ had made a man with clay, but not with atoms annd electrons…

Just imagine a prophet walking around saying such words in this Earth with all the TVs, Internet etc! Where would he land? In Angoda Mental Hospital? See, what happened to Sai Baba, the socalled living god. H edied too, in a normal human illness.

  8. ranjith Says:

    Ariya,

If the Prophet Muhammad’s words are wrong, then why non-Muslims even scientists today revert to Islam day by day?

We, Buddhists should think about that.

What you have mentioned in your comment about the sayings of Muhammad are not true.

Prophet Muhammad, Jesus, Buddha, Sai Baba or any other saints were/are only humans.

Everyone in this world dies with human illness. Deaths may occur with certain exceptions, such as sudden deaths, etc.

  9. Dham Says:

    ranjith silva,
looks like “scientists” are your heroes. I am a scientist too but I don’t find Islam appealing.

  10. ranjith Says:

    Dham,

I know many scientists are free from religion.

But the trend in reverting to Islam by scientists alarms all.

If you are a scientist, why can’t you answer the questions when Ben Silva poses?

  11. jayt Says:

this part for those people who think come separate race, Judaism and Islam created by two brothers. other brother Jesus created Christianity.

Christianity, Judaism and Islam came from same arabic family, one brother created Judaism. other brother prophet Mohammed created Islam and other brother Jesus created Christianity. later all three spread to other races,

    Similarities of brothers:
Jews wear small hat, Muslim wear little big hat, pope wear similar hat to Jews, american wear football hat backward which was brought to america by African Islamic fundamentalists who wore handkerchief on head with one piece hanging down in the back. this handkerchief head cover slowly disappeared and instead used football hat backward because it was easy to wear without tying it. Today, Islamic fundamentalist head-cover logo is western rock ‘n roll fashion.
by the way, american who do not know any history wear hat backward nor pray Jesus because came from Arabic family product and related to islam and bin laden.

    all

  12. jayt Says:

if american knows the history, they will not wear hat backward nor pray Jesus because both products are Arabic and link to Bin Laden blood

  13. jayt Says:

Certain group in the west specially the ones operate against other countries look down on other cultures regardless of your religion because people in non western countries fall into their tricks and fight against one another politically, religiously, racially, regionally and tribally. And if you are a Christian, Muslim, Buddhist and Hindus, they are not interest in culture, what is interest for them is properties.

  14. Lorenzo Says:

SL has little to worry about Islamic threat because all the powerful countries and India are MORE THAN WILLING to destroy it, if it ever raise its ugly head in SL. Any Islamic violence or fundamentalism in the country should be internationalised to get their support. SL people get nothing good by protecting Islamic fundamentalism from WILLING US, Indian, Chinese, Russian, Australian, British, Israeli and French governments to crack it down. They will even give SL billions of dollars to encourage that. There will not be any human rights issues either. It is a piece of cake to wipe out Islamic trouble makers with the help of powerful countries.

Most SL’s hate the west not because they kill Islamic terrorists but because they follow a double standard. We LOVE the killing of Islamic terrorists but HATE the double standards.

However, HLDM’s article is NOT about Islam. It is only about one fool. Don’t judge all Islamic people by the conduct of this one fool. Islamic people have not rallied behind him.

Hack-him is another fool and he is fast losing support.

I agree that most Islamic people are peaceful. They better be!!!

  15. ranjith Says:

    rohana,

Whether you believe it not, trend of reverting to Islam by rationalists to scientists is going on.

After all, irrespective of religions, God is one.

If a person who follows a belief or any religion is to be called as brain-washed, then a person without believing anything too should be considered as brainwashed.

  16. ranjith Says:

    lorenzo,

The word of fundamentalist came first from Christian perspective.

When a person learns and practises the fundamentals of any religion, teaching or any theory he/she is being called as fundamentalist.

In this case, everyone in this world is fundamentalist whether a Buddhist, a Christian, a Hindu, a Muslim or a person who follows any dogma.

If a person is a secular, he/she should be called as secular fundamentalist and so on.

Western media portrayed to the world that the word of fundamentalist meant to be a rude and terrorized person.

They liked the word of ‘moderate’. Does it sound funny?

If anyone calls me as Buddhist fundamentalist, I am very much pleased!

  17. jayt Says:

But have to watch out with Western help. In 1983, when there was only two three Tigers, West propagated loudly pres Jayawardena that there are Tamil tigers and India is training tigers.West attacked India to make believe pres Jayarwardene
that West really against India. Pres Jayawardene fall into this and talked against India. On other other hand, West send Tamil to India to tell Indian that Jayawardene is working for American which was trick to fuel India against Sri lanka. After all, when Jayawardena asked help West said no which was an other trick played to force Jayawardene to invite Israeli into Sri lanka and Western propaganda news frighten Jayawardene with fear of tigers attack in order to put maximum pressure on him to make him invite Israel.

Ironically, it was Islamic Pakistan which thought brotherly of Lanka and stood behind all presidents of lanka.

  18. ranjith Says:

    rohana,

“There are not laws without a lawgiver, but how does this lawgiver look? Certainly not like a man magnified”

    “I don’t think I can call myself a pantheist.

    “I’m absolutely not an atheist”

Above are some pro religious views of Einstein. Sometimes he called himself an agnostic. Sometimes he made ambiguous statements. So, we do not need to worry about his fluctuations in his religious views. He was not a firm adherent to any religion.

Nowadays, we can see the rationalists/atheists around the world fail to rationalise and prove the non-existence of God.

Even being myself a Buddhist, I admire the way Muslims argue with rationalists/atheists about the existence of God, rationally and logically, in intellectual debates.

  19. geoff Says:

    Mayor and his thug supporters.

    http://www.adaderana.lk/news.php?mode=head&nid=1008

Take a look at this picture. It says it all. Panchikawatte thugs, drug dealers, rowdies and fundamentalists are the supporters. This is a very bad start.

CID should take a note of these rowdies (all of them including the short one).

I have not seen such thugs surrounding gentlemen like Imithiyas Bakeer Makar, ACS Hameed, Jabeer Cader, MH Mohomad. Even Uvais.

  20. geoff Says:

    Jihad “ranjith”

Even being myself a Buddhist, I admire the way Muslims argue with rationalists/atheists about the existence of God, rationally and logically, in intellectual debates.

So you are now trying very hard to pretend to be a Buddhist who admire Muslim fundamentalists.

You are very funny. Wish all the jihadis were funny like you.

  21. Ariya Says:

    Ranjith,

You are asking me why men are converting to Islam? You may have not read what I wrote above. Islam is a men’s religion, just like the Playboy magazine.

In their ‘holy’ Koran, there is no mention about where the women go after death. Their hallucinating Muhammad had said in his ‘hadith’ that the hell is mainly populated by women.

Now, if any Muslim man died while killing another human being, he would go to the Muslim heaven, Jannah, where he would be treated by 72 virgins, and he would lie happily while these women play with him, or he play with them, in other words, non-stop sex. He would also have rivers of wine to drink!

So, wile men, sex-crazed men turn to that religion. Hugh Hefner could be considered as good as this creator of sexy religion.

  22. Ariya Says:

    There are few questions this Izeth can reply, if he can;

    1) Why should a very rich 40 year old woman would marry her 25 year old worker?
    2) Would Izeth or any other Muslim man would give his 6 year old daughter in marriage to a 53 year old man?
    3) Would Izeth or any other Muslim man would let his 9 year old daughter have sex with a 56 year old man?
    4) How come a woman is half a man in his ‘religion’?
    5) Why should a raped woman must have 4 men to testify against the rapist, but her own word has no value in their sharia law?
    6) Why a woman’s word is of no value against a man in their sharia law?
    7) Why does Izeth dream of 72 virgins and a rivers of wine, when he ever reach the Muslim heaven?
    8) Isn’t what was left of the Islam today is just a fight of an unsolved testamentary case between his relatives?
    9) Why are the Muslims bomb and murder other Muslims in the mosques everyday in the world?
    10) Have Izeth had ever heard of Jews murdering other Jews in synagogues?
    11) How come only a 12,5 billion Jews withstand 1,3 billion hordes of Muslims?
    12) Is the Jewish god, whose name cannot be named is powerful than this Muslim god?
    13) Is the Muslim god so vain, that all Muslims must shout that he is great?
    14) Why do a Muslim murder an animal when a Muslim child is born?
    15) Does the Sinhalese know that murder of the animal is done in the Muslim house next door?

  23. ranjith Says:

    Ariya,

First of all, I tell you being myself as a Buddhist, I respect all the religions.

I take pros of all the religious concepts to accommodate in my life. After all, still I am exploring all the religions including Islam.

Apparently, your quotings in your comment are absolutely incorrect.

If you read more and more Islamophobia materials, then you will end up to write same hateful gossips in your comments.

I have a thorough knowledge about Islamophobia. And I have a knowledge of true spirit of Islam too.

So, it is easy for me to differentiate the true and false.

Hateful propaganda against Islam is far higher when you compare to other religions in the world.

  24. ranjith Says:

    Ariya

Your posed questions to Izeth are totally copied from Islamophobia.

Even the layman can answer those questions.

Ariya, world’s population is around 7 billion.

12.5 billion Jews in this earth?

  25. fawzan perera Says:

Muslims are one of the strongest ppl in world. Sinhalese Should live peacefully with them. Infact muslim countries helping our country a lot. BTW personally I’m a one who converted to Buddhism, but I swear there’s nothing wrong with Sri Lankan muslims. ඇයි අපි බොරුවට නැති ප්‍රස්න අවුස්සන්නෙ?
