Are we on a suicidal mission or are we just foolish ?

Ben Silva

There are numerous reports on the possible implementation of the 13th amendment. Many writers have said that implementing 13th A, would be suicidal. Yet the masses remain passive. With reference to this issue, it is reasonable to ask ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”Are we on a suicidal mission or are we just foolish ?ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢

It is well known that TNA (Tamil Nadu Alliance ? )was the proxies of LTTE and also well known that LTTE wanted to create a separate Tamil racist state Elam carved from the Sri Lankan State. In the process LTTE created its armed forces, including a Police force. LTTE also had land powers. LTTE expelled non Tamils from the areas they controlled, so that they could create a mono ethnic racist Tamil state. In border areas, for example in Dollar and Kent farm, they killed innocent Sinhala poor, just scraping a living mercilessly. Sri Lanka lived in terror for 30 years and lot of Sinhala lives were lost in defeating Tamil racism. What was observed during PrabaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s time is that there was close links with racist Tamil Nadu politicians. The last 30 years is not the first time Tamils brought about death and destruction to the Sinhalase. It is thought that the destruction of our irrigation systems as well as our civilisation is a result of Tamil invasions and destruction. Looks like we have such short memories. If we now give land and police powers to LTTE proxies, our sacrifice made to free Tamil racism is just a waste of time, as giving Land and Police powers to terrorist proxies is enabling them a foundation to create a racist Tamil state. There is a high risk that new powers could be used to integrate Tamil Nadu and North and East of Lanka and create situations hostile to the Sinhalese. Before embarking on a suicidal mission, it is appropriate that suitable risk analysis is carried out.

Why are the Sinhalese sleeping, when there is such a threat to the Sinhalese and Sri Lanka. What safeguards are there to stop a Chief Minister doing a ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”PerumalƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ or some Chief Minister annexing the North and East to Tamil Nadu ? I would say the risks , hazards and threats have not been investigated and analysed properly.

We have already lost the North, East, Hill country, large part of the coast line, Capital and do we want to lose the rest of the country as well ?

Devolving power on a racial basis to racist Tamils is, in my opinion, more treacherous act than handing over the country to imperialists

We need a non racist Sri Lanka and should not give into Tamil racists with an expansionist agenda in mind, with a Chola mind set. Racists will only bring about misery to every one and it appears that no lessons have been learnt from the experience of the previous 30 years. What is needed is more integration and justice and fair play for all Sri Lankas rather than satisfy the needs of privileged Tamils, who get funded by overseas Tamils. We also should not give into demands of Indian imperialists. Racist Tamils also need to learn to coexist in a peaceful manner with other human beings.

Thanks for your comments and the article, What we forget is LLRC is not a document to ammend the SL Costitution. The intention was to bring togather the Tamils, Sri Lanka Moors and Sinhala to live together. See what happend now! Cronies who were in the commission never knew any system other than the parliamentary system, which they wewe taught by the British Colonial rulers. They have a chapter apprently, confidential to many, that they want to abolish the executive presidency and make it same as India’s so that at a latter stage it can be annexed to Tamil Nadu. Ben, from the grape vine, Hillary Clinton gave each member of LLRC $400,000 to be deposited at an off shore bank. This was done in October 2011. I like to see TAMIL Dis informantion vendors wake up. Like the one who call you “Gon Silva”.

“Why are the Sinhalese sleeping, when there is such a threat to the Sinhalese and Sri Lanka.” you ask, Ben?

May I ask what are you hiding in the Uk, if you are a Sinhalese? Why not come back and awaken the peopel, dropping the Euro salary?

I never trusted anything with the number 13 in it. I certainly would look at anything with thirteen in it very very closely indeed.

Good points. Not only in this important fact, people are passive in all other sectors of government. There is no civic input, influence or seeking or respecting civic opinion by people in power. Take for instance the public money, politicians and their favored officials are misusing funds as they wish but their is no accountability or repercussions. It is really annoying when it comes to foreign exchange. It is blue collar workers in and out side the country, under going immense hardships, who bring in dollars. But it is politicians and professionals who extravagantly expend it for their needs, so much so that the expenditure for luxuries and gasoline has become unbearable. The vulnerable economic standing also goes a long way in succumbing to outsider demand of giving special racial privileges to part of the population. Sri lankans who live in developed countries can really relate to the importance of this accountability issue and should relate to the government (as well as visiting politicians) in no uncertain circumstances the harm it does to the country.

    Desh,
The Sinhalese are silent because the Sinhalese are disenfranchised. If they protest the government goons attacks them, money is borrowed in their name but corruption which is draining most of it is highjacked by the rich who are the minorities thus impoverishing them into slavery in the middle east, major financial cities are gradually ethnically cleansed economically already they are a minority in colombo, led by a political class of corrupt goons and the temple bribed into subservience they have been pushed more and more into slavery. The sinhala chauvinism and discrimination of minorities is an illusion propagated by the Tamils, the church, India and the west is only meant to push the sinhalese into complete subservience. Until the sinhalese are able to get rid of the sycophancy and unite to fight this disenfranchisement soon the Sinhalese will be no better than the Palestinian.

I agree with Nandimithra’s observation. What is the cause and what should be done ?

  7. Christie Says:

The cause is first British Indian imperialism and colonialism up to WWII.

Since then Indian Imperialism and colonialism.

WE are not the only unique group of people who have lost their rights. Bo people of Andaman and Nicobar islands have been wiped out. The same is happening to Creoles of Mauritius. Then will come Fiji.

Time for us to recognise our enemy and stand up.

Death to Indian imperialism and colonialism.

    Christie
Ref:British Indian imperialism – How long We can blam others for our own failure ( last 64 years)!

Ref: implementing 13th A, would be suicidal- Not agreed !
13 A will unite all divided 9 PC to real control in central Government in Colombo (I like to change our capital to Anuradapura(m)) for better & privilage ( Lord Bhuddha’s holyland) for mother lanka !

  9. desh Says:

Nandimitra, I asked a very straightforward question; why the hell these “brainy” chaps live in the UK, but not in Lanka? And they call themselves Sinhala patriots?!

What the hell can Ben achieve for the Sinhalese by living in London and working for the former oppressors of the Sinhalese?

    Isn’t this Ben a hypocrite?

  10. lingamAndy Says:

    desh
    Ref: living in London
a person do not have to live in his motherland to proof he is patriots ! We live in globlation world !

  11. nandimitra Says:

    desh,
Truth is the same whether you live in London or colombo.

  12. Rohan8 Says:

At Desh, I agree what are Sinhala patiots doing in UK? Better if they were commentating out of the USA. At least you could say the United States was a country founded on defeating British Colonialism. Despite the wrongs US has committed since. At least they will have better weather conditions probably better living conditions and even nicer people without the widespread British imperialist mentality you would find with people living in the UK?
Personally due to conditions beyond my control I’m stuck in the UK. I must admit I hate the place, it is the most depressing country in the world. If I could leave I would tomorrow. UK for a so called developed country comes across as a totally decrepit third world country, just across the English channel is France a much nicer country with even nicer food! LOL!. UK with its lousy weather is not a place I would like to live in by choice. However there seems to be a lot of Sinhala patriots who like to live in the country of Sri Lanka’s oppressors.
