No doubt you have been made aware of the botch-up she has created by vetoing the appointment of Ambassador Major-General Shavendra Silva of Sri Lanka from your special Advisory Group on Peace Keeping Operations.
Having invited him to meet her, she had brusquely informed him that she will not let him participate in the discussions of the SAG and will have him removed from the room should he insist in coming into the room.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ I am dismayed and I am embarrassed as she is a Canadian like me.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚
Ban ki-Mon, wasnƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t this the same Louise Frechette who was involved in the controversial $110 million Oil-for-scandal ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ programme and had to step down as a result of CanadaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s complicity after the investigation by US Federal Reserve ChairmanƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Paul Volcker.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ If I recall rightly $8 billion was embezzled from this supposed humanitarian operation between 1997 and 2003. And you still thought much of her and felt that she was indispensable and appointed her to a higher postingƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ in your administration.
Ban ki-Moon, that faux-par has finally come to roost on your office work-desk.
The question that you have to ask now is, if Ambassador Major-General Shavendra Silva was appointed as a member of the SAG in accordance with GA resolution 65/289 and pursuant to the decision taken by the Asia Pacific Group, then according to you does the Chair have the authority to exclude Ambassador Maj.General Shavendra Silva from the SAG?
If you believe that she has no right to act in a high handed prima donna fashion, then you have an obligation to the United Nations and itsƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Asian member states to remove her immediately for embarrassing the Asian Group. LetƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s see you doing it!

I doubt this moon fellow has the guts to do it. Isn’t there a disciplinary board with the UNO. Isn’t this corrupt woman responsible to anybody in the UNO?Why is this spineless GoSL not complaining to the UNO of this corrupt woman’s behaviour?

GOSL should not wlet this matter rest.It is doubtful, if the Chair has authority to exclude a rep. from a member state. Terrorism was defeated witrout much elp from UN. Terrorist funding came from the West, generally from bogus refugees. The former imperialist countries, tried the same old trick of divide and rule, favoured Tamils abd discriminated against the Sinhalese. We would be still living in fear due to terrorism, ifd terrorism was not defeated. Is she punishing us for defeating terrorism that was funded by the West, including Canada and Norway

We cannot delay legal action against TNA racists any more.
Now the racists are in India trying to woo India to vote against SL.
Everyday TNA racists live poses a danger to SL.
We have to act FAST.
No clown in the IC will be able to accuse government if a people’s move leads to reprimanding TNA.

The comments by Ms. Frechette, UN’s Chair of the Senior Advisory Group, was as follows.
“You may have been nominated by the Asia Pacific Group, but I will decide whether you participate or not”.
She teaching “Uppity Nigger” from “Ceylon” how “Coloured” people should behave. Civilizing brown people from “Third World” is “White Mans Burden”.
Sri Lanka is the only democracy to defeat terrorism. All these actions by Ms. Frechette stem from that single fact.

I agree with Asoka, Mr Ban ki Moon is indecisive and weak in his decision making.
He should have the back bone in making tough decisions on an informed and reliable basis.
Eg: Why on earth did he allow Shavendra Silva to take up a UN post when his own advisory report (Darusman Report) highlighted “alleged” incidence of troops under SS command? He not only embarrasses Sri Lanka but places the members of the SAG, Chairperson Frechette and the Asian Group that nominated Sri Lanka in a predicament that makes a mockery of his leadership skills.
Sooner Mr Moon takes responsibility either way the better.
Mr Kohona involvement in this episode should be scrutinised.

If it is only “alleged” why not allow?
INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY.
No one has adoptded the poor orphan – Darusman report. So its contents are not accepted reality.
