Indian Parliamentary delegation meets TNA MPS the stumbling block against Communal Unity in Sri Lanka.

There are old vinyl gramophone records, which when damaged keeps the needle from jumping on to the next grove and therefore goes on playing what is on the grove on which the needle is stuck over and over again.
The old Karunanidhi, and old Sampanthan , both in their dotage with one leg on the ground and the other in the grave are like damaged vinyl records. They repeat the same thing over and over again, their minds unable to jump on to another thought having damaged all positive or progressive thought processes, continuously repeat what is in their ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-one trackƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ minds.
Both of them have not come to politics with any political wisdom, intelligence or academic achievements. Karunanidhi wrote Tamil poetry, while Sampanthan was only a pawn placed by Prabhakaran- the terrorist to spy for him in the Parliament and repeat what he hears to the Thalaivar, for him to decide where to place the next suicide or claymore bomb. The terrorist PrabhakaranƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s mind was fertile only to the extent of ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-terror managementƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚.
As a great political move of wisdom Karunanidhi, and Jayalaitha unable see things beyond their nose, withdrew their representatives from the Indian Parliamentary delegation visiting Sri Lanka, on a fact finding Mission.
Sampanthan had talked a lot to accuse the Government of Sri Lanka for not being honest and breaking promises given to them. But they of the TNA are the more dishonest, not wanting a settlement through discussion and dilly dallying without still not naming their representative to the Parliamentary Select Committee.
If TNA really wants a settlement to the problems they claim the Tamil people have , it is their duty to set in motion the Parliamentary Select Committee by nominating their representative. In not doing so they indicate their intention to back out of proposals, which may not be in keeping with their preconceived solutions. TNA is not concerned with the welfare of the Tamil people, but preoccupied finding ways and means to set up a separate Eelam State where they would be the uncrowned kings.
TNAƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s dishonesty is evident in not nominating a member for the Parliamentary Select Committee. TNA thus shows that they are opposed to a settlement acceptable to all Communities . It is made evident from SampanthanƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s statement that a solution to the Tamil question will only be possible with foreign intervention.
A respectable politician who is a patriotic citizen of the country would not want any foreign intervention in our country as we know well what would happen once foreigners begin to interfere into the internal affairs of a developing country. But SampanthanƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s servile mentality prefers to serve white masters rather than work with Sri Lankans.
The West will never take a decision which is favourable to Sri Lanka unless such a decision has benefits for themselves. Because the foreigners are not interested in our people be they Sinhala, Tamil or Muslim, nor have they an interest in our culture, or social and economic development.
Sampanthan cannot grasp that situation due to his desire to set up a separate Eelam State. A favourable solution to the present problem high lighted by the TNA would be for all Communities to unite under one flag in a united Sri Lanka and solve their problems in dialogue without having politicians like Sampanthan and his TNA MPs interfering to profit from the Tamil issue to fortify their political leadership amoung the more ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-gullibleƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ Tamil people.
The political, or social problems we have, should be settled amoung us without having to bring the foreign governments to interfere. Sampanthan is only creating problems where there is none. Sampanthan is an agent of the pro terrorist diaspora led by Rudrakumaran, Global Tamil Forum and the rest. The intentions, actions and pronouncements of Sampanthan and the TNA MPs are open to doubt and suspicion. They had been going to Canada, USA, and South Africa making statements against Sri Lanka with the intention of putting foreign powers against Sri Lanka. This is a dangerous situation being created by the TNA.
Therefore , Sampanthan and his TNA MPs should be arrested for creating disharmony among the Communities and abusing their privileges as Parliamentarians to create dissention among the people, and invite foreign intervention with the intension of forcibly dividing the country.
High Security Zones in the North and East are a necessity to protect the people and the country from external and internal enemies of Sri Lanka. TNA wants the Security Zones removed so that they will have the North free for their activities of dividing the country and separating the people, and perhaps bring the terrorist rump back to the North.
Sri Lanka has to be protected against the unpatriotic activities of the TNA who may not hesitate to invite foreign Armed Forces to set up a Tamil homeland if the Security Forces are removed from the North and East. Therefore it is in the interest of the country to stop the TNA from continuing their activities as a political party.
The TULF had also made their representation to the Indian delegation and handed over a memorandum stating that a ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-meaningful devolution which can meet the aspirations of the Tamil people, based on the Indian model only can bring permanent peace and reconciliation among the various communities.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚. The TULF had been parroting the same idea without reflexion.
TULF too talk of the aspiration of the Tamil people without recognising that the Sinhala and Muslim people also have their aspiration. If that fact is understood by these Tamil political pundits , they will agree that all communities having aspirations should work together as a Nation to realise those aspirations. In a multiethnic society it is this united effort to settle their problems together that could strengthen ties of citizenry.
The leader of the Indian Delegation, the opposition leader Ms. Sushma Swaraj has put her foot in her mouth saying that the government should evolve a political solution to the national question based on the 13th Amendment to the Constitution. She is here only on a fact finding mission and not to advice the Government of Sri Lanka what it should do. That is the business of the Government of Sri Lanka.
The 13th Amendment was forced into the Constitution of Sri Lanka under different circumstances, and today Sri Lanka is different from what it was when the 13th Amendment was adopted. Hence it is imperative that this unnecessary ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-vermiform appendixƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ is removed before it festers and poisons the ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-bodyƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚. And thus also stops every Dick, Tom and Harry asking to implement the 13th Amendment as if it is the panacea for all the political ills of Sri Lanka.
Finally the Poet Lauriat of Sri Lanka terrorists- Karunanidhi of the DMK wants the Union Government to press the UN for a referendum for a Tamil Eelam in Sri Lanka, and he had said that , ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-if at all he had one unfulfilled desire, it was the creation of a separate State for the Sri Lankan Tamils.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ That may be his desire but oursƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ is that Sri Lanka remains an undivided whole the mother land of the people of Sri Lanka. Karunanidhi like Prabhakaran will also die with his desire unfulfilled !
Another TNA MP Adaikkalanadan, had said , ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-We need police and land powers for the provincial councils like the states in India,ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚. But this man does not seem to understand that the Sri Lanka Provincial Councils are not like the States in India. Therefore , police and land powers will not be given to the Provincial Councils of Sri Lanka, as Sri Lanka is not India.
There are apparently lot of Catholic Churches being built in the north, which should be investigated by the Government and stopped as illegal constructions. But on the other hand encourage building more Buddhist Temples, which would ensure unity between the Sinhala and Tamil Communities.

The GoSL is cheating the masses since independence. The majority people are taken for a ride by all incumbent governments. When there is 2/3 majority in the parliament what is the secret in not repealing the 13A? If the GoSL is genuinely keen in stopping the Indian pressure the GoSL should have done it yesterday and not to-day or to-morrow. The GoSL is being lectured by every visiting Indian Dick, Tom and Harry. Now theat seenile Karunanidhi whose use by date has expired talking of UN intervention in referendum in North and East only. Why not South? Nadoos know it is a sure case of EElam. If the GoSL maitains this don’t care attitude we patriots must consider joining the Bahu Team. Bugger the patriotism.

This is a simple question what every Sri lankan should be asking the Gosl.
Why should there be any discriminatory policy or act in a country officially tied to its constitution ?
There should be a storng bilingual eduction system. Now the discrimination of Sinhala are over ( we assume), rivert back to official Sinhala/English with English/Sinhala or Tamil compulsory 2nd language.

When there is 2/3 majority in the parliament its now time to introduced into constitution banning to talk, act for any sort of separation of the country. Nehru introduced this into India constitution in 1962. Why not MR do this immediately. If not nobody in future could introduced. Completion of Terrorism will be only thereafter. Thereby nobody can dictate any more condition.

WeTamils have a plan and they are working on that step by step. They are open and adament on that.
Sri Lankan politicians know they caused all these troubles. Either they are incapable< I mean too chicken to India or their existence and grandure are far important than the country. So, they wait until the next election comes.
What plan Sri Lanka has for the country. Just exploit everything for their one's own benefit.

What stupid govt allows free import of vehicles suitable for scrap metal without any restriction, probably to cover politicians importing new vehicles for their business.
In order to keep those scrap metal running on the road, they spent $ 5 billion per year, and how did the country earn that much money to import ?
Can we run a household budget that way, we go bankrupt or have to beg from neighbours or from the bank.

Whatever with his socialism what I find most disturbing is their duplicity on patriotism. To his credit Patali Champika Ranawaka maintains his nationalist views. Not others. Not even the well known patriots during the war. They now want people to follow the government’s national betrayal strategy – reconciliation (instead of ethnic integration), LLRC, 13A and 13P.
The curse of the two thirds majority.
Even the President and his brothers are trying to sell the country off with 13A and 13P hoping that will save them from war crimes allegations. Little they know they will be charged for war crimes by the Opposition when it comes to power. At this rate, it is not long before the Opposition topple the government. Over 30 ruling party MPs are from UNP, CWC, SLMC and EPDP. They will cross back the moment the government is in trouble.
After 1956 and during the 1970s, ruling party boasted the opposition will never win again. They were proven wrong to say the least. Will they correct it or continue like the Titanic till sinking in despair?

What 13A ? We will treat Tamils with compassion and love, same as we treated them before they started killing people. That is all you need for reconcilliation. Are they treating us the same ?

Anud, if I am correct 40% of import bill is for oil and another 10% may be for vehicles and associated parts – can a country prosper with such imbalance in expenditure. And this is not going to go away even if the vehicle imports are stopped outright today – The rusting and depreciating heap will continue to chug, belch and clog the congested roads requiring huge import bill for maintenance and oil.

Latest news of monks protes near mosque is almost daily bribe work of a agency. They attempt is to get Muslim support for tigers locally and internationally. last week, this creative agency brought a story of Pakistan prime minister going to a Tamil school . This whole ploy is to get Tamil connection to Pakistan which gives more access to Pakistan this agency won’t give up the world until a book is publish about them and legalize action in the west. And increasingly , they are asking for it. Before that police stations in eh north America, Australia , Saudi Arabia should be given a notice how this sudden sexual charges , rape and murder of sinhalese and suden fighting and killing among two or more sinhalese take place in sl and around globe . Also, western politician need to be given a notice by spelling out clearly who is this agency to which they form partnership with. I hope Cyprus police and specially us who support this agency read this.

What is the problem we have ? The problem we have is the ethnic problem TNA is creating.
We have Sinhala, Tamil and Muslims. We are after the end of a long years of suffering under terrorism. We now have to think in terms of a nation and not communities and build our country the motherland of every one of us together burying our communal identity in the greater interest of Sri Lanka.
In the presence of the problem created by TNA and others about an ethnic problem and demand for a devolution of political power , and police and land power to PC’s and as there is an opposition to these imagined ethnic problems and aspirations the only possibility to discuss the matters and settle the issues is the Parliamentary Select Committee.
Why want the TNA nominate a representative to the PSC ? That is because the TNA is like the Terrorists who did not want a peace settlement but was determined to set up a separate Eelam State. That is the same tactic TNA is adopting, by not wanting to participate in the PSC.
