Independence of the Nations is in peril

Independent observation of the international scene where the powerful countries intervene and intrude into less powerful countries for economic, political and other benefits have escalated by leaps and bound during the past few decades to the level of those helpless countries finally surrendering to those powerful countries. ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Bitter truth is that the international organizations that are established to maintain peace and harmony in the world have drastically failed or functioning with double standard in taking decisions related to internal conflicts and interventions. Beginning from Palestine we could open a long list like Iraq, Libya, Egypt and several other countries.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Lack of balance of power could be the main reason for this dismal situation. Few decades ago when USA and allies based on capitalistic economic policy were conspiring with all of their strategies USSR with China as a force came forward to rescue them from former powers. One incident that cannot be erased from the history was how USSR stood with Egypt when the newly elected President Gamal Abdul Nasar declared nationalizing the Suez Canal. All the allied forces planned to militarily attack and retain the powers of Suez Canal, but Bulganin the then Prime Minster directly warned the allies threatening to hit back. But today are their any forces who could challenge the big powers that are in one single camp? An emphatic no is the answer. CanƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t this be one reason for the daring and unethical interventions that we could perceive today? There is a great vacuum in balance of power and its time for other countries to unite to challenge these atrocities and injustice.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Today several strategies are being used to combat this outrageous actions of the super powers and among them terrorism plays an important role. Terrorism in the long run will not fill this vacuum in a viable manner and some other plans and strategies should be formulated. It may be based on some ideologies, whatever it may be. It may be based on economy, religion, territorial, or anything that could unify several countries to come together to protect themselves from any alien forces. Countries in Europe have formed into a union where they are being benefited and even a new currency was also introduced that has gained a great influence.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚

I agree with this except this bit.

“Today several strategies are being used to combat this outrageous actions of the super powers and among them terrorism plays an important role. My initial reaction was this is outrageous.

But then, this has worked which is very very strange. That is the TRUTH. IPKF left SL, Soviets left Afghan, NATO will leave Afghan in 2014, etc. in fear of terrorism. One terrorism verses another.

Whatever that works to defend the nation.

Whether we like it or not, this is here to stay. In future countries will have to listen to terrorism as they listen to super powers. Otherwise the end result will be the same. Only terrorism has succeeded in beating the superpowers. ALL of them.

It is a tool that must be managed well but often it goes out of hand. That is the danger.

If you check the history, many empires came and disaooeared. Most empires disappeared not because of enemies but because of their own faults. They all subjugated other less powerful tribes, countries and kingdoms etc. Recently too, other powers came, Portugal, Spain, Belgium, France, Dutch etc., were colonial powers and had naval power. But now most are bankrupt and they want handouts to survive. See, Greece was,at one time, a very powerful empire. Most recent is the UK which is now weak and if USA is not there they won’t survive militarily. In the same way, USA is coming to the end.

Now it is China’s time. China will not be a head ache as the western civilizations are. Asian philosophy believes that things come and go as a spiral.

So, nothing to worry, if USA goes another will come. Probably, at one point once CHINA becomes too powerful, China may do the same. One good reason is, Eastern countries are not like western countries. The reason is the philosophy that they believe in. they believe that others also should live. OR LIVE AND LET LIVE.

Further, Byzanthian was another eastern empire that existed side by side with Roman empire and lasted longer than the Roman, I heard.

USA is right now do not want to accept what is inevitable and they tries to hang on. So, the result will be there will be a time that will be forced to do that by themselves as a result of the circumstances.

    It is simply human nature.
