ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ What’s all this then?ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ You report that ‘Police arrest two marchers in tution demonstration’.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The reason given was, ‘Police said domonstrators caused traffic disruptions and concernsƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ during their march from Laurier Avenue to Major Hill Park.’ The number of the demonstraters amounted to “around 40” you said.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ But when 20,000 Tamils protested carrying a sea of red Tamil Tiger terrorist flagsƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ in April and MayƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ of 2009 disrupting evening rush hour traffic for days along Wellington Street for hours none were arrested.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ I wonder why?ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Does it mean that the numbers keep the police away from arresting or what?ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ It does seemƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ like a ‘taking sides’ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ sham, isn’t it?ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ That Tamil demonstration cost the city almost a million dollars to clean up the center town after the demonstrations ended.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Yet, the Tamil organizers of the demonstrationsƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ wereƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ not asked to contributeƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ a single pennyƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ for the clean up.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ I am flabbergasted.

Western hypocrisy: When Tamil refugees pay ‘campaign donations’ and promise their votes to Canadian politicians, they are OK to protest in favor of a banned terrorist organization…… but apparently this is not the case for some Canadian students, eh?
It is time for “Canadian Spring” and “American Spring”….. let’s see how they handle it.
