Statement of the Nabaviyyah Islamic Youth Organization Regarding the Film Defaming Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)

Praise be to Allah, Lord of All the Worlds, and may AllahƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s blessings be upon His final messenger to humanity, Holy Prophet Muhammad, (PBUH) and upon the ProphetƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s family and Companions.
Everyone is aware of the US film defaming Holy Prophet MuhammadƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s noble character, which was produced by people who harbour enmity and hatred towards Islam, and which has been circulating throughout the Internet and international news media. Such people inspired by hate have sought time and again through reckless defamation to provoke Muslims around the world.
We, Nabaviyyah Islamic Youth Organization, the youth wing of the Quadiriyathun Nabaviyyah spiritual Sufi order, on behalf of Muslims in Sri Lanka vehemently condemn the US produced blasphemous film insulting our beloved Holy Prophet Muhammed (PBUH). We have organized a peaceful protest march against the sacrileges film, and over 15,000 members of our spiritual order will participate for this event. The protest march will commence from Majestic City Junction, Bambalapitiya and will proceed to US Embassy in Colombo 03. This protest march will commence at 10.00 am on Monday the 24th September 2012.
The Nabaviyyah Islamic Youth Organization diligently monitors such wanton behavior on an ongoing basis and responds to it in accordance with IslamƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s high moral standards, as our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) has taught us.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ All international agreements, international charters, and conventions stress the importance of respecting religions, beliefs and symbols of all nations. We would like to point out, adding that practices such as insults are considered a violation of article 20.2 of the UN International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, which reads: ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Any advocacy of national, racial or religious hatred that constitutes incitement to discrimination, hostility or violence shall be prohibited by lawƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚. This insult to our Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) cannot be accepted religiously, humanly and morally or be tolerated as it is a blatant attack against all the beliefs and feelings of more than one billion Muslims in the world. Denigrating of prophets, religions, beliefs and religious symbols cannot be, in any way, part of freedom of speech, therefore, such acts that would further inflame extremism and hatred among followers of religions, as well as among civilizations and peoples, must be stopped.
Of all Muslim symbols, there is perhaps none more sacred than the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) himself. Muslims can barely utter his name before their conscience obliges them to pray for Allah to bless him and grant him peace. Hundreds of millions of Muslims revere not only the Prophet, but the very city of Medina which he made his home, and ardently aspire to visit it at their first opportunity. It is no exaggeration to say that Muslims love the Holy Prophet more dearly than their own selves, as the QurƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢an characterizes them. To imagine then, crude representations of our Holy Prophet very dear to Muslims is unbearable.
We Muslims have to be warned time and again about the double standard the Jewish backed-American regime has been taking. If a Muslim is involved, the case is fabricated and condemned as an extremist and terrorist, whereas Sam Bacile, (Not his real name) a convicted criminal, the producer of this film goes scot free and given US protection. Although you tube has a screening policy, it is ironic how a slanderous film on great prophet has been released with US blessings. This shows the evil Jewish hand behind the film.
We urge all Muslim leaders and nations to condemn and appeal to US government to take off this film from Youtube and bring those involve to justice and to boycott all American products and sever diplomatic ties with countries which support this film.

We Buddhists have no malice against the followers of Jewish, Christian, Muslim or any other faiths for according to Buddha Damma, anyone has the right to believe any religion and pray to any God. But toleration of other religious beliefs is not a strong point of any Abrahmic religion.
A Jew named Abraham started his ‘One God’ concept some 4000 years back. Abraham disseminated to his tribe that the ‘One God’ he found in the desert had created everything they perceive. But for the next two thousand years only Jews had followed Abraham’s ‘One God’ and he had created everything. All other poeple the world over remained polytheists who followed various Gods. And consequently, all other than Jews had a remarkable religious tolerance. Before Emperor Constantine even the soldiers of the Roman Empire were polytheists and they too had a remarkable degree of religious harmony with others.
Scholars say, Constantine on his way to claim the crown dreamed a Christian cross in the sky and painted it in shields of his soldiers to invigorate them to overpower his enemies. After crowning emperor he became a Christian. And all that broad mindedness vanished over night. The power of the cross was such; the old wisdom achieved with polytheism had disappeared completely. With his Pope Essubus, Constantine suppressed all (hundreds of Gospels) but his type of Christianity (four Gospels) and forced it upon everyone in the most brutal manner. Hence forth, intolerance and fanaticism had developed throughout the empire. But within few centuries, the entire Roman Empire was wiped out. Nevertheless all subsequent Popes just followed their predecessors’ methods but with their own method like crusades, and inquisitions.
Muhammad was 40 when he said he was chosen as a prophet by Abraham’s ‘One God’. But Muhammad only accepted just enough saying of earlier prophets of ‘One God’ such as Moses, Jesus and et al. That is also only to prove his viewpoint. Muhammad categorically rejected all most all other Bible writings. For instant, Muhammed never accepted that Jesus is the Son of God.
In fact, Muhammad accused all other Unitarians as false believers of the right God. Muhammad renounced Jews and Christians as polytheists, therefore impure and defiled. As such, Muhammad commanded that they never come near the Kaaba in Mecca. To this day, leave alone Buddhists, Hindus and etc, no Jew or Christian can enter the Mecca, or come near Al-Kaaba, the Holy shrine in Saudi Arabia.
No wonder Jews, Christians and Muslims were on logger head at each other throughout their history. More often than not, Jews, Christians and Muslims killed each other, for the sake of their religion. What is going on now is a continuation of the enmity that had been going on between these three for almost 1500 years.

The Khalifa – Spiritual Head of the Worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Mirza Masroor Ahmad, in his Friday Sermon on September 21, 2012. highlighted that the Muslims have sovereignty over several countries and there are large Turkish and other Muslim populations in Europe. He stressed that the Muslims should use their political influence and strength in numbers to create social pressures to enact laws against violation of religious sensibilities. He also urged Muslim lawyers to work on such issues and influence laws through suitable lobbying and writings. Muslim countries could try to influence UNO for such purposes as well. He also urged that we need to use all legal means to promote the true image of the Greatest Benefactor of mankind, the Holy Prophet Muhammad, may peace be on him. He outlined a very comprehensive program to tackle anti-Islam propaganda.
In the conclusion of his Friday Sermon, he issued a very dire warning in the words of the Founder of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at – the Promised Messiah and Imam-al-Mahdi Mirza Ghulam Ahmad that if the world will not deter from abusing and defaming Allah’s beloved Prophet Muhammad, may peace be on him, then Gods’ wrath will indeed be unleashed in every country of the world. He wrote:
“Bear in mind that God has informed me time and again about the coming of earthquakes. So be sure that just as there have been earthquakes in America and in Europe, in keeping with the prophecies, so will they occur in different parts of Asia, and some of them will be as terrifying as doomsday. There will be death on such a large scale that rivers will run with blood, and even birds and animals will not escape it. Such destruction will overtake the earth as has not happened since man was born. Most places will be turned upside down as if they had never been inhabited. There will also be other terrible afflictions, both in heaven and earth, and every sensible person will realize that they are no ordinary phenomena, and no trace of them will be found in books of astronomy or philosophy. Then people will be seized by anxiety and they will wonder what is going to happen? Many will be saved, and many will perish. Those days are near, indeed they are at the door, when the world shall witness a spectacle of doomsday. Not only will there be earthquakes, but other terrible calamities will also appear, some from heaven and some from the earth. This will happen because men have given up the worship of their God, and all their thoughts and their designs and their resolves are diverted towards the world. Had I not come, these calamities might have been delayed for a while, but with my coming the secret designs of God’s wrath, that had long been hidden, have been manifested. As God said: ‘…We never punish until We have sent a Messenger.’ (17: 16).”
“Those who repent shall find security and those who fear before the calamity overtakes them will be shown mercy. Do you think that you will be safe from these earthquakes, or that you can save yourselves by your own designs? No, you cannot. All human designs will come to naught that day. Do not imagine that only America has been shaken by the earthquake and that you are safe, for you may experience even greater calamities. O Europe! You are not secure, O Asia! You are not secure, O you who dwell in the Islands, no artificial god will come to your aid. I see the cities falling and I see the habitations in ruin. The One and the Unique has long remained silent. Abominations were committed before His eyes and yet He remained silent. But now He shall reveal His countenance in a dreadful manner. He who has ears to hear, let him hear! The hour is not far. I tried to bring everyone under the security of God, but the decrees of destiny had to be fulfilled. Assuredly, I say that this country’s turn is also drawing near. The days of Noah shall appear before your eyes, and you will see with your own eyes what happened to the land of Lot. But God is slow to wrath, repent so that you are shown mercy. He who abandons God is a worm, not a man, and he who does not fear Him is dead, not alive.[Haqiqat-ul-Wahi, Ruhani Khaza’in, vol. 22, pp. 268-269 – Essence of Islam, Vo. V, pp. 148 – 150]”
Ahmadiyya Khalifa was clear in his condemnation of the violent response witnessed in a number of countries by extremist Muslims. He said that the killings of innocent people including ambassadors and diplomats was completely contrary to the teachings of Islam; he said that damaging property or burning buildings was completely wrong and benefited no party, except those who wished to defame Islam.
Addressing the issue of freedom of speech, Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad said that people should never be too proud to admit that there may be flaws in certain man-made laws or regulations. To treat freedom of speech as paramount at the expense of world peace and harmony was a flawed concept.
In the end Ahmadiyya Supreme Head prayed for the world in the words, “May God give sense to the world and may He enable us to discharge our responsibilities.”

At the same time the uncivilised practice of one man marrying multiple women MUST be banned. It is not a civilised human practice that is found only in the animal kingdom.
