Military strike on Iran would trigger WWIII: A senior Iranian military commander

A senior Iranian military commander has warned that an Israeli strike on the Islamic Republic could trigger the World War III.
We see the United States and the Zionist regime [of Israel] alongside one another and can by no means imagine that the Zionist regime would initiate a war [against Iran] without the US supportƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚¦.In case of the eruption of such a [war] condition, the situation would spin out of control and management; this war is likely to degenerate into the World War III. It means that some countries might enter the war in favor of or against Iran,ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ Brigadier General Amir-Ali Hajizadeh, commander of the Aerospace Division of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), said on Al-Alam television on Sunday.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-An independent war between Iran and the Zionist regime or the US could not be imagined,ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ the general said, adding that in case a war breaks out, Iran would be on collision course with both sides.
ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-The Islamic Republic of Iran considers the US bases in the region as part of the American soil and will definitely target them if a war breaks out,ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ he added.
He went on to say that ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-One should not imagine that the countries in the region would declare neutrality if a war breaks outs.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚
On Saturday, IRGC chief Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari said a war on Iran ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-will eventually happen,ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ warning that the attack will lead to the Israeli regimeƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s obliteration.
Israel is stepping up threats of carrying out a unilateral strike against IranƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s nuclear energy facilities before the US presidential election on November 6. However, the US opposes any Israeli military action at the current juncture.
Israeli threats are based on the unsubstantiated claims that the peaceful nuclear activities of the Islamic Republic have been diverted to the acquisition of military nuclear capability.
The deputy commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) says the Islamic Republic can annihilate the Zionist regime of Israel in 24 hours.
ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-A regime [with a frontier] that in some spots is only 24 kilometers wide could have its back broken by one of our infantry battalions in 24 hours,ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ Brigadier General Hossein Salami told an Iranian television station on Sunday.

ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-We know that the enemy bases in the region, the security of the Zionist regime, energy supply security and protecting the life of enemy troops constitute the vital interest of the enemy,ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ General Salami noted.
ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Our strategic doctrines are all defensive, but our tactics are invasive. It means that we do not initiate any war, but if anyone wages a war against us, we will counterattack incessantly and will not stop,ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ he warned adding, ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-The enemy could initiate a war, but its ending would be up to usƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚.
He also underscored the precision of IRGC-developed missiles, saying, ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Our missiles are capable of targeting enemy bases in the region, at any range, with high destruction capabilities. We have mastered the knowledge of developing all modern missiles.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚

I hope this useless affair will end peacefully. There is no need for war.
But an attack on Iran will NOT trigger WW3 because Russia and China will NOT protect Iran.
Ultimately Iran-Israel-Saudi will be fighting a vicious war (with US help) that will destroy them and open for superpowers to grab their assets. If Iran uses chemical weapons, USA will use nukes. This will be VERY ugly.
So we should support a peaceful resolution.

I do not think any country would be stupid enough to use nuclear weapons and contaminate the region with radioactive material, so close to the heart of Europe. US and Russia may not enter the war but would ensure the nations they have a strategic interest in, would not be invaded and occupied by the opposing camp. Israel being much smaller than Iran, they may suffer much more losses than Iran. At the moment the Middle East is out of control and nobody knows how a war would end up, except that all who get involved would be losers and the entire world would suffer economically.

Remember the preemptive Israeli strike – Operation Focus (Mivtza Moked) at the start of the Six-Day War in June 1967. On June 5, 1967, Major General Mordechai Hod led Israeli Air Force launched a massive airstrike that destroyed 452 military air crafts of the Egyptian, Jordanian and Syrian Air Forces and disabled 18 airfields in Egypt, hindering Egyptian Air Force operations for the duration of the war.
