“Bring to justice those behind Lanka war crimes: DMK”
Posted on October 13th, 2012

Asada M Erpini

A report in the Indian Express, reproduced in the local media, says that DMK wants those behind Lanka war crimes to be brought to justice. The demand of the DMK goes beyond:  it refers to “war crimes against Tamils in Sri Lanka”.

For once, the large majority of Sri Lankans, except naturally for the remnants of the LTTE and the vociferous Tamil National Alliance, which was born out of the unholy wedlock between extremist Tamils in Sri Lanka and Pirabaharan – the aim of both parties being to carve out a mono-ethnic Eelam for their chosen few – will agree with the DMK aspirations and would give every possible assistance in their endeavour.

The number of Tamils killed by the LTTE is far higher than that which lost their lives in the justified moves by the Sri Lanka armed forces to reclaim the land that had been usurped by the LTTE. The killing of Tamils started with the shooting of Alfred Duraippah , the Tamil Mayor of Jaffna by Pirabaharan when the latter was a mere 14-year old, and continued on with the assassinations of Lakshman Kadirgamar, A. Amirthalingam, Jeyaraj Fernandopulle, Rajini Thiranagama, Sam Thambimuttu, Neelan Thiruchelvam, Kumar Ponnambalam  and many other prominent Tamils. The deputy Leader of the LTTE is reported have been killed personally by Pirabaharan himself, one of the main reasons being the former objecting to the LTTE killing innocent Sinhalese in the so-called border villages.

Then there are those who are now based abroad or who operated from beyond the shores of Sri Lanka (and obviously are in the nether world, paying for their sins against the innocents). Foremost among them are the Australian nurse who is in the UK, but when the LTTE was in full flow and running its own affairs in the North and East of Sri Lanka “”…” fondly referred to as the de facto state by the Western media persons “”…”proudly to garlanded with a cyanide capsule the misguided young Tamil women who had “ƒ”¹…”graduate d’ to become suicide bombs, the Catholic priest “”…” a wolf a in a priest’s cassock perpetuating the moribund  goal of the LTTE – , and the “ƒ”¹…”Prime Minister and the Cabinet’ of the virtual TGTE, who are culpable to the same extent as those who took up arms to fight Sri Lanka’s armed forces. These individuals are also guilty of aiding and abetting the murderous activities of the LTTE that went on for nearly three decades.

There will be many Sri Lankans from all ethnic groups who will be ready to supply the DMK and its leader M Karunadnidhi with the necessary facts for them to pursue their avowed mission of cleaning the Aegean stables, if their intentions are genuine. But, when the ageing Tamil film script writer cannot wake up from his slumber (nidhi) and is unable to distinguish between his forte of writing for the celluloid fantasies and life in the real world, especially in a different, sovereign country that should not be his concern in any way, all that the readers can do is to feel sorry for the man.

War crimes investigations must start with India and the west who supported the war by arming and training both the sri lankan army and the terrorists. Isreal had the gaul to train both fighting groups at the same time and call them both monkeys.( Read the book The way of deception Vannanu) Create mayhem and then moralise. They all suffer from selective amnesia.

  2. Vijendra Says:

All direct or indirect supporters of the LTTE are guilty of the murder of thousands of innocent Tamil and Sinhalese in SL. It starts with Indira, her son Rajiv. Western governments like Canada, UK, Norway etc have blood on their hands as they permitted the LTTE to collect funds through its various clandestine organizations appearing as charitable organizations.

A M E !!! You have amply given a list of those who are guilty of WAR CRIMES for the 30 years prior to May 2009.

DMK must first start with Indira Ghandi’s Ghost, for training Sri Lankan Terrorists on Indian Soil. Next they must catch Rajiv Ghandi’s Ghost for perpetrating the same crime his mother started. Justice was brought to their feet, in what we call “”RETRIBUTION””. So these DMK ” Our Souls ” are unable to find the Ghosts I believe eh ?

Next they must come and see the films available of the Terrorists Tamils shooting their own kind, the Tamils, when they were trying to run away from being Human Shields, and whom they thought was a Megolomaniac Tamil using them.

DMK must catch Paiko, the LTTE Terrorists’ Padre, and castrate his testes, so that he would remember not to perpetuate the LTTE Megolomaniacs concept of TAMILS KILLING TAMILS.

Good that the DMK is looking for Tamil perpeTRAITORS who have commited War Crimes by killing their own kind, THE TAMILS. WISH YOU fgood luck DMK.

Its over 3 years since The London Evening Standard reported that Adele Balasingham lives freely in the UK.

“Aunty to female Tamil Tigers runs London protests from New Malden”

Where a senior Sri Lankan High Commission source told the Standard:” Given the association of Mrs Balasingham with the senior ranks of the LTTE she could be seen as a sole survivor” . It also mentioned that the Representatives of the SLG were to meet Scotland Yard and the Home office soon.

We all know the UK government will take no action, I bet they are hoping the Nurse will join the Dr soon….

But this shouldn’t stop the Sri Lankan community in the UK from visiting Aunty occasionally and reminding her what a great service she provided to Sri Lankan children’s welfare. Remember that the UK is a free country, you can protest at the airport, parks, opposite hotels, outside parliament, anywhere you want.
And they have special days of the year when you can protest.
Day for Women’s Rights and International peace
    International Children’s day
International Day of Innocent children victims of Aggression
    World Day against Child Labour
    World Suicide Prevention day
    Universal Children’s day
International day for the Elimination of Violence against Women
    International Youth day
    International Nurses Day

So isn’t time we find out where exactly in Malden she lives?

Is anyone from South London reading this?

  5. M.S.MUDALI Says:

Prabhakaran was 23 years old when Duraiyappah was killed.

Include UNP Sinhalese too for the war crimes. Did the UNP backed LTTE on the instructions of India to fight IPKF?

  6. thurai Says:

Real war crimes who are responsible for the 30 years of war have washed their bloods from hands and carrying
flowers and Million of assets and enjoyig in SL ,India and around the world.

  7. ranjit Says:

Karunanidhi should fight to get her daughter out from jail not anyone for war crimes? He too is a war criminal for helping and financing a terrorist group to destroy a peaceful country like Sri Lanka. All Tamil Nadu politicians are war criminals for training terrorists in their back yard and giving sanctuary.

Thank God all those terror friends of theirs now in hell and their time also limited. They can have a nice EELAM in hell together with Prabakaran.

  8. Marco Says:

Th author is stating that in particular, Lakshman Kadirgamar, Neelan Thiruchelvam, & Kumar Ponnambalam were killed by the LTTE. Would he have evidence of that to substantiate that statement.
Would he be so kind to provide such evidence to the Investigate authorities.
Hopefully it would not be the same Investigative Authority that is looking into the murder of Baratha Lakshman Premachandra.

Ironically, the government says legal action has not been filed against former LTTE chief arms procurer Kumaran Pathmanathan alias KP.

Media Minister Keheliya Rambukwella had said that there are provisions in the legal system to use a suspect as a state witness. (Plea Bargaining?)
Is KP in shock and awe?
