Golden Key depositors who lost their deposits with it’s collapse, staged a noisy protest in the vicinity of Superior Court complex yesterday against the inclusion of two Attorneys – at – law and a President’s Counsel who appeared for Ceylinco Group chairman Lalith Kotelawala, to represent Chief Justice Shirani Bandaranayake before the Parliamentary Select Committee hearings of the impeachment motion against her.

“We have suspicion over the appearance of these Attorneys- at- law for the Chief Justice,” they said. “Until the conclusion of the impeachment process, let the hearing of the Golden Key case fixed for December 4 be postponed. We expect justice,” a protestor said. Among others Attorneys – at – law, Romesh Silva PC, Saliya Peris, Suramya Karunaratne and Nalin Laduwahetty PC are in the legal team defending the Chief Justice in the impeachment motion brought against her for alleged misconduct.

Shi(t)rani Kotilawala. Now I know where the $250,000 came from. No wonder she DRAGGED the case for so long.

In Chief Justice Shirani Bandaranayake’s reply says that Foreign money was sent by her sister in Australia to buy a house. Let Parliament Selected Committee request from Australian Tax Office to find out from where this sister got the money. Whether its her earning in Australia or a “Donation” from Lalith Kotilawala & Company.
