ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Hon. Jason Kenney, PC., MP

Minister of Citizenship, Immigration & Multiculturalism

House of Commons, Ottawa

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Dear Jason:

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ What’s all this I read in today’s Ottawa Citizen?ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  It said “UN envoy slams Canada.”ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  It goes on to say, “The federal government is again engaged in a war of words with the United Nations.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Canada can’t credibly preach human rights on the international stage when too many of its own citizens are going hungry, the UN’s right-to-food envoy, Olivier De Schutter, told the Canadian Press.”

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Jason, that was a slap on the face of Canada, wasn’t it?ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  And as I told you earlier, you had the gall and temerity to go to Sri Lanka on January 7, and preach them about Human Rights saying that we are ‘Holier than Thou’.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  And I told you, “Not so Jason”.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  It is embarrassing, isn’t it?

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ You have painted us as a bunch of Hum Bugs in Sri Lanka, andƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  no one in Sri Lanka believes you and us anymore.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Let me just jog your memory.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ By 19 May 2009, the Sri Lankan soldiers liberated 295,873 Tamils who were pushed around for 30 months as a herd of unwashed cattle who were kept under the clutches of the Tamil Tigers as a human shield.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Once they were liberated, the Sri Lankan government housed them in temporary camps, and prepared one million meals a day to feed every one of them a hearty breakfast, lunch and dinner.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  No one starved.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ And that is Sri Lanka for you, and their text book example of how they deal with Human Rights.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  And so you go to Sri Lanka and try to preach to them on Human Rights!ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  What a load of piffle, Jason.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ I hope you and your government will be a bit more smart and judicious when dealing with Sri Lanka.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ And one more thing Jason, the Sri Lankan Government owes nothing to theƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Ragavan-Tamil Diaspora who went in search of greener pastures bypassing their Motherland, Tamil Nadu which isƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ just 24 saltwater miles away, and they owe everything to the Tamils who stayed back.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  And that is the bottom line whether you like it or not.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  And that is how the cookie crumbles.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Sincerely

Asoka (Weerasinghe)

Jason K. is a laughing stock! He went around vote begging from Tamils -his antics about Sri Lanka was all about preventing Liberals getting domestic Tamil votes.

  2. beagle Says:

LankaLover is quite right. The Liberal Party AND the Cons are openly begging for Tamil votes in Canada. The NDP’s
is a bit more discreet but they are at it too. The Tamils are fulkly aware that the promise of their votes will help
them obtain their refugees get into Canada and grab all the benefits Canada has to offer. When the Tamils tell our
politicians to ‘Jump’ they just ask “How High’?

  3. Vis8 Says:

Ha ha… a slap on the face for the hypocrites. All these ‘Canadian politicians’ care are the ‘campaign donations’ (aka terror-money) and promised votes from the ‘innocent refugees’. Now, the separatist feel “discriminated” by the very Canadians who helped them to live a work-free life with a nice dole and free healthcare…., and are colonizing in suburban areas of Toronto… and two terror-supporters are already in the Canadian Parliament. In due time, they will want eelam in a part of Toronto.

Canada, you can nurture these terror-supporters for all you want. But, leave Sri Lanka alone.
