ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Ben Doeherty continues his one eyed criticism of post -war Sri Lanka in his latest (The Age , 21st March) article on theƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  “refugees” who were sent back to Sri Lanka. If such persons have no criminal record associated with the violence and terrorism perpetrated on unarmed civiliansƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  they do not have to worry about the Sri Lankan authorities. What BD is refusing to see and report from Sri Lanka is the rehabilitation and rebuilding efforts carried out by Sri Lankan government in a new record time-compared to the atrocious situations in countries like Afganiztan. Iraq, Rwanda and Sudan et.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ We hope to hear from BD in future about the positive stories from Sri Lanka which has achieved success in the growth rate of the economy after 35 years of war and reaching high standards in social indicators and paving the way to peace and prosperity to her 21 million people.

Ranjith, I would be surprised if the Age published your reply. Its a very biased paper like SBS is a biased tv station. Umpteens of times they have refused to publish letters stating the true picture about Sri Lanka even back in the 1980s.

Age a Fairfux paper with Sydney Moring Herald has been in the arms of the Indian Intelligence Service for almost fifty years. It had one senior editor who worked for the Third Eye in late seventees and eightees, the days Sikhs were fighting for a separate state and India was developing its nuclear arsenal.

The Fairfux papers, Radio Australia (Gillian Bennet wired 23rd March 2013 @ 16.36 Australian Eastern Standard Time) and
other Indian sponsored mobs have atacked the Sinhalese. Moors, Malays and Burghers of the island nation to coincide with the Indian motion at the UNHCR.

My Indian Myna from Melbourne says:

Kenneth Roth the Excecutive Director of Human Rights Watch facilitated by ABC character and doctorate student @ Monash Wahlid Ali dicussed Human Rights in the region on 21 March Thursday 12.30 pm @ Level 26, 181 Willium Street, Melbourne sponsored by Human Rights Law Centre and Ashurst, an International Law firm.
Ali started with Burma and concluded with Sri Lanka. Mr Roth parroted what India and its terrorist outfit tell the world. There were hardly any Tamils there but Trevor Grant (the cricket writer who bats and bowls for Tamils and India) was there to represent both Indian intelligence service and the Tamils. I hear that, probably there was a one Tamil thangachchi to make sure Trevor was doing what he was paid for.
Roth was silent and lost for words when one asked him about India’s involement and the fact India provided explosives for Tamil terrorist to make improvised explosive devices by the terrorists in blowing up Sinhalese, Moors, Burghers and Malay civillians but not a single Indian or a Tamil. He privately conceded that HRW has taken the side of India and they get a lot of donations from wealthy Indians in the US and elsewhere.
