WIMAL WEERAWANSA SHOULD MOVE HIS APPLICATION AGAINST THE 13A NOW

Minister Wimal Weerawansa (WW) early this year on one Friday said that he is going to move an SC application against the 13A. But two days later on Monday he said that he is not going to move it because he belongs to one PSC committee therefore it would not be good to do so.
But when he said that he would move an application against the 13A, on Friday then the application set must have been ready on that Friday ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” 3 sets of the application for the three SC judges, the RegistrarƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s copy, the CouncilƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s copy and his copy. Therefore, he must have with him all those copies intact in his filing cabinet
The 13A problem could only be solved in favour of the indigenous Sinhala People through two avenues ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” First the legal avenue and second, the political avenue. Therefore, WW is in a position to launch a two-prong attack on the 13A in a concrete way.
According to the News item published in Lankaweb on 28th February by the SLSGC, it appears to be that GR, WW, Udaya Gammanpilla (UG), Champika Ranawaka (CR) together with Gunadasa AmeresekaraƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s 10 organizations with the support of SLSGC have met the President to initiate a political program to abolish the 13A. So we the indigenous Sinhala people are in a strong position to get rid of the 13A.
But as WW withdrew his application in two days time because of an unexpected reason, political moves even by the President could go wrong. Therefore, to be on the safe side (in the event the timeline agenda presented by the SLSGC does not materialize after the New year), WW should now invoke his application set (all he has to do is to change the date of his application) and file the application at the SC just after the Sinhala New Year.
This time he does not have to be the Petitioner as it was in last time. His good buddy, Piyasiri Dissanayake, or one of the leaders from Gunadasa Ameresekara team could become the Petitioner or Petitioners and why not the man UG himself. But in the event if they are all shy to be a Petitioner, then I personally would be ready for the action.
Therefore, I urge SLSGC to phone minister WW immediately and invoke the Petition without further delay. I am sure there must be plenty of auspicious times available during this time of the year to file a good application prepared in good faith.

Not only WW, how about the monks in JHU party? They are all ENJOYING now forgetting about the country. This is a damn disgrace.
This is the time they should come forward.

War ended after 26 years (2009).
13 amendment should end after 26 years (2013).

Why cant M.EP,J.H.U and weerawansa parties with all the other patriotic organisations force the govt to scrap 13A.

I’m pretty sure that the monks in the JHU had been advised by MR to lie low with regards to 13A, MR will at the right time dump 13A so let us all pray for that to happen very soon!

We all hope and pray that our beloved nation which was taken over by bloodshed for thirty long years will get rid of all evils and march forward in the right path with sincere leadership and bring prosper,happiness and freedom to all our citizens irrespective of faith,religion or caste to live in PEACE.
If not for Gota,WW,Hela Urumaya and the Buddhist monks our country would have broken in to pieces because of those traitors in UNP,JVP,TNA, Wickremabahulas and others. These traitors do things against our country like they were born in another country. From 2005 they were against Rajapksa’s and the country they were born. They never support for anything this country face in front of the International community. They always work against. Do not worry we have millions of RAJAPAKSA’S,WW’S in our beautiful country.We will protect it with our lives. No need Indians or Americans.We Sinhalese will protect our Sinhala nation with all our might.
