TNA MP foils army from raping 200 Tamil girlsâ€ÂÂÂ

The Island carried a news item on 15 July that Sivagnanam Sritharan, Jaffna District Tamil National Alliance (TNA) MP, foiled the attempt by the army to rape 200 Tamil speaking girls. He probably means that the army is the Sri Lanka army and that the Tamil speaking girls are of Tamil ethnic origin (although women in the Moor community, too, come into the category of ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Tamil speakingƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚).
All Sri Lankans who value human rights and love peace will applaud the laudable act apparently performed by the TNA MP. There are a few points, though, ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ that may bother them as to why the gentleman had to travel all the way to Montreal in Canada which is situated over 5000 miles away from Sri Lanka to reveal his ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”knight in armourƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ act that saved the damsels from worse than death.
According to the MPs own words, as reported in the Island, he intervened when the girls were being taken away. He does not say that there was rape or attempted rape, but the MP from the North knew for certain of what was in store for them. Anyway, it would be great relief for Sri Lanka Tamils that the MP wishes to remain in Sri Lanka to ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-save the Tamil speaking peopleƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚, although the rest of the world knows, and witnessed through live broadcasts, how the armed forces of Sri Lanka saved 300,000 Tamils – the young, the old, the infirm as well as young Tamil lassies, who would have been prime prey to vultures from many other armies – from the clutches of their ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”saviourƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ in May 2009.
All that Sritharan has to do is to lodge a complaint with the legal authorities and provide the evidence that supports his accusation. Of course, he may say that the police and other custodians of justice in Sri Lanka do not function as he desires, but that is what the rest of Sri Lanka including the three quarter Sinhalese population lives with.
Leaving all the above issues aside, there is a more sinister and grave implication in what Sritharan is reported to have said: ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-We cannot start a war in Sri Lanka, only you (the Tamil Canadians who emigrated from Sri Lanka) can start itƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚. This man is inciting non-Sri Lankan Canadian citizens to wage war against sovereign Sri Lanka, while he remains a Sri Lankan citizen, and an MP who has sworn allegiance to the sovereignty of the country. In any other country he will be arrested the moment he sets foot in Sri Lanka and be charged for treason. But, in Sri Lanka one can commit the most heinous crime and yet live at the expense of the taxpayer!

Is there any law and order in the country of SL? How can a traitor like this, paid by the Sri Lankan taxpayer, come out of SL and utter such heinous statements and get back in and carry on as if nothing has happened? Should he not be apprehended and put behind bars for inciting hatred and calling Canadians to start a war with unsubstantiated and dangerous statements like this? I think it is high time that the SL govt, acted with some determination to eliminate hate-mongers like this from SL society, once and for all!

Sri Lankan politicians have a history of flying overseas with public money and letting down Sri Lanka with this kinf hilarious accusations..
Most recently, Mr. Mangala Samaraweera had written to some where reminding about Sri Lankan human rights and as a result of that requesting not to have CHOGM in Sri Lanka.
Who are the leading politicians in Sri Lanka who has not this kind low quality work. that is exactly the reason why these people are never arrested and never prosecuted.

This report should be INVESTIGATED by the regular Police and the Military Police.
If it is found to be true, then the personnel involved should be PROSECUTED & PUNISHED.
If it is found to be a FALSE ALLEGATION designed to DEFAME & DEMONIZE the Armed Forces of Sri Lanka, this man …. MP or not …. should be ARRESTED immediately, and PROSECUTED to the FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, CONVICTED and PUNISHED at Hard Labor in Prison for DEFAMATION of the Armed Forces under Civil Law, and under the Prevention of Terrorism Act (POTA) for ACTING WITH INTENT to INCITE COMMUNAL VIOLENCE and UNDERMINE PEACE and SECURITY of the country.
I suspect that there is NO TRUTH whatsoever to this ALLEGATION to DEFAME the Army. The GOSL ACTS on this WITHOUT DELAY and MAKE AN EXAMPLE of this man to forestall more such acts in the future!.

Two Tamil Tiger cadres charged for killing 26 Sri Lankan military personnel

July 15, Colombo: Sri Lanka judiciary will indict two cadres of the intelligence unit of the Tamil Tiger terrorist organization Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) today at Vavuniya High Court for the killing of 26 personnel of state military, burning and burying their bodies.
The two LTTE cadres identified as Madaarayan Sulakshan and Ganeshan Darshan are accused of executing the 26 military personnel who were captured and detained at the LTTE torture camp in the LTTE’s Victor 1 camp in Puthukudiyiruppu.
As the Sri Lankan military advanced into the Tiger territory in 2009 the two cadres, who were fighting at the front lines and injured, have been assigned to torture and interrogate the military personnel.
Although the torture camp was protected by mines and claymores, as the Sri Lankan troops approached the senior cadre in charge of the camp named Ratnam Master has ordered the two suspects to kill all the captured soldiers, douse their bodies with diesel and burn.
Following the orders the suspects on January 15, 2009 have built a 5 feet high and 10 feet long pyre and lined up the blindfolded soldiers against the pyre and shot them. Darshan has shot 3 of the soldiers and Sulakshan has shot the other 23.
The Terrorism Investigation Division has arrested Arumugam Jogadeesan, another LTTE cadre connected to the incident while in a refugee camp after the war ended and he has provided this information to the authorities during interrogation.
The 26 military personnel included 18 Sri Lanka Navy and eight Army personnel.
The two suspects will be charged when they are produced today before the Vavuniya High Court Magistrate Ms. C. N. Bandumathi.

July 15, Colombo: Sri Lanka’s Marxist party Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) alleges that politics and the economy in Sri Lanka are decided on the whims and fancies of India and India is pressuring Sri Lankan government to adopt its agenda on governing the country.
Speaking at a special media conference held at the head office of the JVP at Pelawatta today (15th) Information Secretary of the JVP parliamentarian Vijitha Herath said the “government is dancing to the tune played by India.”
He noted that recently, political partners of the ruling alliance carried out a campaign that land and police powers in the 13th Amendment to the Constitution should be abolished before holding the elections for the Northern Provincial Council and the government appointed a Parliamentary Select Committee (PSC) to pass the required legislature.
However, following the visit to New Delhi by Minister Basil Rajapaksa and the visit of India’s National Security Adviser Shiv Shankar Menon to Colombo, the government has put off the issue.
According to Herath, when the PSC was appointed it was stated that a report would be presented within two weeks. However, it has been PUT OFF BY 6 MONTHS NOW, he said, explaining that the report would now be available only after the elections for the Northern PC in September and Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in November have been held.
The MP accused the President Mahinda Rajapaksa of bowing to the pressure to get the CHOGM chairmanship.
“When CHOGM is held here Sri Lanka gets its chairmanship. Mahinda Rajapaksa has staked the national question in Sri Lanka to get this chairmanship post,” Herath said.
India has constantly insisted that Sri Lanka should go beyond the 13th Amendment to devolve power and when India’s External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid met Minister Basil Rajapaksa in New Delhi, he has emphasized that the 13th Amendment should not be diluted and Sri Lanka should go beyond the amendment to ensure meaningful devolution of powers.
It has been reported in foreign media that Menon, who visited Colombo after Minister’s visit to New Delhi, has delivered a direct message from Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to President Rajapaksa that if the government dilutes or abolishes the 13th Amendment, India will not support Sri Lanka when the island faces a problem in international arena.
The Marxist party said there is no change to the party’s stand that the provincial councils should be abolished and solutions should be found immediately for burning issues of Tamil masses.
The party will launch a proposition compiled for an approach for the solution of national question at the Foundation Institute on the 24th of this month.
The JVP said it is presenting the series of proposals as a means to end the semi-military administration that exists in the North, to solve immediately the social and economic issues of those people and as an approach for the solution of the national question.
The MP also reiterated that the party will contest the elections for Northern, North-Western and Central provincial councils.
“We hope to develop a viewpoint in the society that provincial council system would not be a solution for the national question or development in the provinces,” he said.

Then Vimukthi Jayasundera produced co-famous “Sulanga Enu Pinisa” to insult heroic armed forces and CDF. Now one Pushakumara has produced and won several foreign awards for a film tittled “Flying Fish” just to do the same thing. These traitors too should be brought to Galle Face green and funish in public!

Pardon me for piecemeal writing in, but the latest cheat statement by TNA must be examined further with focus on what we know already.
Siritharan’s statement is too DELIBERATELY vague : that he, the hero, foiled the attempt by ‘the army’ to ‘rape 200 Tamil speaking girls’, carries many question which he must answer.
(1) WHEN did he ‘save’ Tamil speaking girls’ ? The wars with the ltte went on for nearly 30 yrs.
(2) WHICH ARMY is he referring to ? Is it the Lanka Army, the IPKF, or the ltte army ?
(3) ‘Tamil speaking girls’ : as Asada points out there are Tamil speaking Tamil girls as well as Tamil speaking MOORS (Muslim) girls.
(3a) Were these ‘Tamil speaking (likely Moor girls)’ being taken to safety, AWAY from possible abuse ? the ltte when in power, allowed some types of genetic experiments within their area, it appears. We read articles of a number of white skinned babies with the Tamil women.
(4) Also, Siritharan’s timing of statement in Canada is treacherous to say the least, just before CHOGM and possible elections in the North too. How does GoSL propose to deal with such treachery from a MP who gets his pay, perks & pension, FREE education & health care, from Sri Lanka tax payers, for letting down his country of domicile in this manner ? Where are this man’s loyalties after taking his Oaths ? Are the MP’s Oaths worthless ? What are the repercussions for breaking with the Oath of office for an MP ?

Unknown to us, there seems to be a competition going on for some kind of massive reward for the biggest lie in support of Tamil terrorists, separatists and their friends and also, on-going smaller rewards for each and every big lie these no-hopers come out with. This could be why people like Callum McRae, Karunanidi, Jayalalitha, Father Emanuel, Rudrakumaran, Gordon Weiss, Nadumaran, Vaiko, Seeman, Frances Harrison, Brian Seneviratna and those jokers in the AI, HRW, ICJ etc, who are continually coming out with such big fat lies trying to do one better than the other. Now Siva Sridaran has entered the fray with his “200 Girls” contribution to this lie competition. I don’t think Sridaran has a chance with this lie to win the competition, when competing with international giants of this art, such as the likes of Callum McRae, Karunanidi and Gordon Weiss. Anyway good luck to you Mr Sridaran and we wont be surprised if you go back to Sri Lanka and claim your comments have been misreported by the media.

It is more than likely that Siritharan is angling for ‘REFUGEE’ status in Canada (can’t return to Sri Lanka, may be persecuted
there !), after his DELIBERATE and likely false figure which could range from ‘never happened’ to 2, or 20 ! Tamil Diaspora is famous for adding zeros to pad up figures in the numbers game to enhance their Separatist cause.
So now we have many possibilities re this event. Let’s wait and see what unfolds.

Just imagine IF Sambandan suddenly dies of a heart attack (or other cause or a man-made cause), TNA will collapse. They have NO LEADER to take from him. So why not?

Question of the hour : Why is the TNA allowed to represent the Tamils of Lanka abroad when it is not even a registered political party ?
But since the TNA MPs are under Oath in Parliament to uphold the Constitution of Lanka and they must be made to answer for their transgressions abroad when they return to Lanka. Tamil SEPARATISM must be countered with enhanced Clause 6 – confiscation of property & imprisonment.
While Tamil Nadu Caste/poverty problems remain so must the armed forces in the N&E, to prevent resurgence of terrorism/Separatism, illegal Tamil migration and to maintain law & order in the N&E, and also guard the Resources of Lanka which belong to the People of Lanka.
