(Part I of II)

According to the Islamic writers; around 610AC, Muhammad, a native of Mecca, received a message from Allah through Angel Gabriel concerning his Islamic mission.

No locals in Mecca at that point in history took kindly his mission, except a ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”hand fullƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ of his immediate family. The rest of the inhabitants of Mecca were totally opposed to AllahƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s anointed prophet.

Indeed in order to avoid losing his life, Muhammad fled from Mecca to Medina in 622. That was the Hijrah, or migration, which marks the inauguration of the Islamic calendar.

Several pitched battles took place between believerƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s (followers of the Prophet) and pagans subsequently named the ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”unbelieversƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ the next few years, in order to dislodge him and his mission. But the free thinkers lost those efforts and in time ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”un-believerƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s of Mecca and Medina with their progeny, were wiped out from the face of earth.

For the sake of argument, let us assume that, if someone were to popup today and claim that; he has being given a message by Allah (similar to one received by the prophet in 610 AC), and a new revelation. This message had been revealed to him through Angel Gabriel (also similar to one received by the prophet). How would the world react to such a revelation? In fact they would react as the locals did in Mecca anon 622. Indeed the modern society would taken him as a lunatic, and place him in an asylum as a mad hatter forthwith. And if he happens to live in Saudi Arabia, he would have his head lopped off.

Now hold your horses; that scenario is impossible to repeat. As Prophet himself realizing that possibility would certainly arise, took precautions to nip it in the bud! ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ For it has been revealed that; “Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but (he is) the Apostle of God, and theƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Seal of the Prophets: and God has full knowledge of all things.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ (The Noble Quran, 33:40)” .To whom was this revelation relayed is not quite clear, but there it is! In such a manner, the Prophet blocked all of AllahƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s future ventures for meddling in affairs of mankind.

Soon as he took control over Mecca, he placed a ban on non-Muslim visitors entering Mecca; and the QurƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢an explains ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”whyƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ in the following uncompromising terms: “Oh you who believe! Truly the idolaters are unclean; so let them not, after this year, approach the Sacred Mosque….” (9:28).

With that declaration; MeccaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s unbelieversƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ rights (also called the free thinkers and idolaters) were expunged!!! So ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”True believersƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ while denying human rights of none believers are demanding those rights for themselves!

In fact in order to understand the background ProphetƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s injunction as proposed by Allah, one must understand the historical moment, and the geography in which Islam arose.

So let us move on to year1788, thatƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s when the Saudi State ruled over the entire central plateau known as the Najd. By the early 19th century, its rule extended to most of the Arabian Peninsula, including Mecca and Medina.

The Ottoman Empire, the dominant power in the Middle East and North Africa at the time was suspicious of Al-Saud rulers who paid homage to them. So in 1818, the Ottomans dispatched a large expeditionary force armed with modern artillery to the western region of Arabia. The Ottoman army besieged Diriyah, which had grown by now into one of the largest cities in the peninsula. They leveled the city with field guns and made it permanently uninhabitable by ruining the wells and uprooting date palms.

By mid 18 hundreds the colonial powers on one side and Russia and Austria on the other were chipping away at the frontiers of the Ottoman Empire. On one side Catharine the Great was swallowing it up piecemeal, and on the other, the colonial powers (British and French) were working rabidly to weaken and undermine the Ottoman Turks.

Prior to the World War I, ‘Great Game’ mentality was dominating the British. The Ottoman Empire was a useful buffer between the British India and the Russians. The whole point of the great game was to keep Russia from gaining an access route to India. With the First World War looming there was a tassel in the colonial policy. London was pulling in one direction and Cairo and India in the opposite.

One Muhammad Sharif al-Faruqi it seems to have emerged in 1915-6 and was trusted by the British as a voice of the Arabs. Little is known about him, but Britain’s dealings with al-Faruqi led to a complete reverse in policy for the postwar Middle East and the role France, Russia, and the Arabs were going to play. At least that is what the European historians have us believe.

In fact why did British help such a waste sandy desert and its barbarous worriers to shape a kingdom? Indeed, British been British and past masters of deception and duplicity, was sitting on information which they did not divulge outside the inner circle.

The discovery of oil by theƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Anglo-Persian Oil CompanyƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ at Masjid-i-Sulaiman in the mountains of north-western Persia in 1908; but the consensus of geological opinion at the time was that there was no oil on the Arabian Peninsula, although there were rumors of oil seepage at Qatif on the eastern seaboard of al-Hasa, the eastern province of Arabia. But I suspect that the British Bureaucrats knew, that; under the sandy desert lay oceans of black gold.

But there is a more vital point which the foxy British kept under wraps. ThatƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s how British and subsequently the French out witted the rest of the colonial powers and landed on the top of the heap and became ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”King makersƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢. Thanks to Gandhi (that half naked fakir) the enlightened British EmpireƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s back was broken.

With ulterior motives the British and French partitioned the Middle East and created the modernƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Arab worldƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ and theƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Republic of Turkey which would serve their interest. TheƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ League of NationsƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ granted France, mandates overƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ SyriaƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ andƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ LebanonƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ and granted the United Kingdom mandates erƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ MesopotamiaƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ andƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ PalestineƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ (which was later divided into two regions: PalestineƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ andƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Transjordan). Parts of the Ottoman Empire on theƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Arabian PeninsulaƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ became parts of what are todayƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Saudi ArabiaƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ andƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Yemen.

By 1824, the Al-Saud family aided by British intrigue; regained political control of central Arabia. The Saudi ruler Turki bin Abdullah Al-Saud transferred his capital to Riyadh, some 20 miles south of Diriyah, and established the Second Saudi State under his own name. During his 11-year rule, Turki succeeded in retaking most of the lands lost to the Ottomans. Lawrence of Arabia a British agent helped break up the Ottoman grip by working with the Wahhabi fanatics.

Sadly during First World War Ottomans backed the wrong horse ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”GermanyƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢. Which in turn helped implode the Ottoman Empire? ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Ataturk and the young Turks created Modern day Turkey from the left over fragments of Ottoman Empire.

If not for Mustafa Kemal Pasha (Ataturk), there would not be a modern turkey. In Mustafa KemalƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s own words, he describes the importance of Turkish identity and the insignificance of Islam in such a manner:

ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Even before accepting the religion of the Arabs [Islam], the Turks were a great nation. After accepting the religion of the Arabs, this religion, didnƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t effect to combine the Arabs, the Persians and Egyptians with the Turks to constitute a nation. (This religion) rather, loosened the national nexus of Turkish nation, got national excitement numb. This was very natural. Because, the purpose of the religion founded by Muhammad, over all nations, was to drag to an including Arab national politics.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚

Mustafa was an incredible visionary and years ahead for his time. For him ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”IslamƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ was nothing but promoting of an Arab identity. By comparison most Turks and the present day leadership have lost its way!

On September 23, 1932, the country was named the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Wahhabi state with Arabic as its national language and the Holy QurƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢an as its constitution was created.

As for the Arab character, they certainly own noble traits no doubt.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Hospitality, love of freedom, daring, manliness, tribal fidelity and generosity were some of the qualities in which the Arab had no equal.

But such virtues, by themselves, especially whenƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ balanced by the weight of barbarity and brutalityƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ can hardly be taken to constitute a civilization. Side by side with the most hospitable treatment accorded to a guest, it was common practice to rob a wayfarer. The sentiment of tribal patriotism, though highly commendable in itself, had also been abused and carried to excess. Trifling disputes between individuals would lead to terrible conflagrations of war and blood-feuds extended from generation to generation.

The Qur’an sums up the Arabs and their mental setup succinctly in a single sentence: “You were on the brink of a pit of fireƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚¦” [The Qur’an, 3:103.

Naturally woman occupied a very low positionƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ in the Arab society. Despite love-songs in praise of the beloved, which were the outcome of carnal lust, a woman was not accorded any better treatment than one belonging to a pariah caste, of the HinduƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s.

Indeed there a limit to the number of wives a man could take. Besides a plurality of wives, he could have illicit relations with any number of other women.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ProstitutionƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ was a recognized profession. Captive women, kept as handmaids, were forced to make money for their masters in this debasing manner.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Married women wereƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ allowed by their husbands to conjugate with others for the sake of offspring. [Note: This practice was calledƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Istibdza; and was similar to the practice of Niyoga still prevalent among Hindus.]

Moreover, women were looked upon as mere chattel. She had no legacyƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ rights of her deceased husband, father or other relations. On the contrary,ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ she was herself inheritedƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ as part of the property of the deceased.

In order unify these unwashed bickering hordes of Arabs, they needed a man of extraordinary competence and deft. He needed an abundance of luck. Above all he must be a genius in applied psychology!

So how could these restless and vacillating barbarous Arabs get an Identity?ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  That is when Muhammad a man of incredible vision declared his mission to the Arabs!

He needed to achieve several things simultaneously; these desert Arabs had be disciplined so they had singlenessƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ of purpose. And if they are to be assembled in a single place and to labor harmoniously, then they had to be washed first, as these unwashed masses would smell to high heavens when they assembled and kneel for prayer. They had to be cohered to tolerate each other, so they could sit down on a single mat and eat from the same vessel and act as brothers.

Indeed he had stop infanticide of female offspringƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s. So, the women, from been chattel, be converted into production machines, for the much need and anticipated future imperial wars of expansion. Above all he had to make them all have implicit faith in him; as prophet and representative of Allah. In other words they should be unquestioned believers in whatever actions he undertake or utters, as all of which would be, divinely, inspired, obviously.

The genius of Mohammed lay in the simplicity of formulations of the five injunctions which he proclaimed was handed to him by Allah. It was a master stroke of creative thinking! Embedded within those five lucidly formulated injunctions, was an ocean of applied forward thinking Psychology; as a result of which, world is still been kept in a state of apprehension.

Arabs got an identity alright, when he unleashed on the world at large the most brutal creed known to man since the coming of the catholic creed. The five injunctions I quote here with my observations: –

1: There is no god but ALLAH and MOHAMMAD is the Holy Prophet [Faith or E-mann].

(First injunction bestowed upon him absolute power, and made his followers, unquestionable believers; hence followers of Islam are called believers.

2: Perform Prayers

(Indeed they had to pray 5 times. But before prayers they had to do their absolutions they had to get washed; he had to discipline these barbarous hordes and condition them, unite them and make the followers ready to do anything in AllahƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s name. Indeed they should be ready to kill or be killed in AllahƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s name).

3: Pay the Zakat [Payments to Poor].

Poverty and ignorance is not bad. Indeed he took control of the ignorant masses and put them on hold as cannon fodder until the next holy war comes along. Why poverty and hunger, became it was the will of Allah! And the believers were made to pay for the multitude hungry mindless masses till the next war comes along! No question about it: the whole lifeƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”living or dyeingƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ was fatalistically preordained by the prophet!

4: Make the Pilgrimage [Hajj].

In order touch and kiss the Kaaba (The stone which has fallen from the sky. ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Of this I have more to say!)

5: Fast in the Month of Ramadan [Fasting].

On September 7, 2011, the Dalai Lama, Tariq Ramadan and other personalities took part to theƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Second Global Conference on World’s Religions after 9/11.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ It was organized in Montreal with the active cooperation of McGill University and the UniversitƒÆ’†’ƒ”š‚© de MontrƒÆ’†’ƒ”š‚©al.

During the conference a project ofƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Universal Declaration of Human Rights by the World’s ReligionsƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ was discussed. TheƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ article 12.4ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ of the Declaration claims that ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Everyone has the right not to have oneƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s religion denigrated in the media or the academia.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚

This push for censorship is part of a wider campaign led by the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation representing 56 Muslim-majority countries in order to silence those who criticize Islam.

Indeed while the conference was in session, several Muslim scholars including many endorsed by Tariq Ramadan and the Muslim Brotherhood describe non-Muslim doctrines in a very denigrating manner.

Syed Maududi and other renowned Muslim scholars have written thatƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ kafirsƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ (derogatory word for non-Muslims) will go to hell. They have claimed that Christianity is a distorted religion.

Buddhists were the ones most exposed to their ridicule and violence.

Ibn Khaldun (1332 – 1406) is one of many scholars endorsed by Tariq Ramadan. In his classicƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Muqaddimah, Ibn Khaldun explains why resorting to coercion and violence against Buddhists and non-Muslims in general is justified:

ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-In the Muslim community, the holy war is a religious duty, because of the universalism of the (Muslim) mission and (the obligation to) convert everybody to Islam either by persuasion or by force. The other religious groups did not have a universal mission, and the holy war was not a religious duty to them, save only for purposes of defense. It has thus come about that the person in charge of religious affairs (in other religious groups) is not concerned with power politics at all.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ (Princeton, Princeton University Press, 1989, p. 183ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Google Books)

When they destroyed the Buddhist civilization in India, Afghanistan, and a whole range of Buddhists nations along the Silk Road, and many parts of Asia, Muslim leaders followed that very principle as outlined by Ibn Khaldun.

Mathieu Ricard is a French convert to Buddhism who frequently collaborates with the Dalai Lama. On his personal blog, he describes acts of destructions perpetrated in the past by Muslim invaders against Buddhists and their institutions:

The library of Nalanda, known as Dharma Gunj (Mountain of Truth) or DharmagaƒÆ’†’ƒ”š‚±ja (Treasury of Truth), was the most renowned repository of Buddhist knowledge in the world. Its collection was said to comprise hundreds of thousands of volumes, so extensive that it burned for months when set aflame by Muslim invaders led by the Turk Bakhtiar Khilji in 1193. Thousand of monks were burned alive or killed.

Harun YahyaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s conclusions about Buddhism (also called Muslim expert on Buddhism.) are pure rib ticklers!

– What Buddhists are doing is destined for destruction.
– Those who adopt Buddhism simply want to show off.
– Buddhism is contrary to logic and intelligence.
– Buddhists deny the supremacy of God and commit a crime that cannot be forgiven.
– Buddhism is not relying on written texts and is distorted.
– Buddhists are destined to Hell.
– Harun Yahya describes BuddhistsƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ suffering in Hell.
– Good deeds done by Buddhists may have no value.
– Buddhism became a fad for those looking to be more ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-originalƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚.
– BuddhismƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ has degenerated much more than Judaism or Christianity.

His assertions just tickled me pink. I would rather end up in hell rather than in Paradise where dolts such Harum would be hanging around! If Harun is an expert on Buddhism what would that say about the rest of the bunch of believers?

At this stage we must pose that pertinent question! Why this loathing of the Buddhist by the Islamist, starting with Mohamed? Why should they fear the most serene and tolerant of creeds which did no harm to man or beast since its inception 2550 years ago? Is it simply because they were idolatrous?

Indeed Zoroastrians of Persia were eradicated by the invading Muslim hordes. Before Alexander the great invaded Persia it was a mighty civilization. Now hardly a fire worshipper is to be found! Now with Islam and Allah at its helm, Iran is invoking a none existing being. Sadly Iranians did not have a Mustafer Karmel hence, letting these desert Arabs dominate direct their culture.

Hinduism with its inherent flaws of segregation by caste and class is losing ground to the Judeo ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” Christian sects, but fast. These God ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”lovingƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ sects are exploiting its inherent flaws and are undermining once tolerant Indian culture. Indeed there is no threat from Indian civilization for the ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”religion of peaceƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢.

Though the base for both Islam and Christianity is Judaism, they attack Jews.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Why? Is it due to their stubbornly conservative stance; that their expected messiah was still to come? Or is it because of their intellectual ability for controlling the worldƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s economy? Now Judaism is a racist creed and Jews being a ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-chosen peopleƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ one has to be born a Jew, or you are ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”un-chosenƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢, whatever that means.

Through they are a torn in MuslimƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s flesh; there is no danger from them too?

In fact there are two forces which are blocking their attempts of making the whole world Muslim. These two forces in conjunction will eventually make Islam self destruct.

First is knowledge and dissemination of knowledge; such as Internet, e-mails, TV and the means of mass communications and scientific rational analysis is a danger to Islam.

ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Not at all! A piece of clay or bronze or jade is not the object of our respect and worship. When we bow before Buddha images, we are recalling the qualities of the enlightened beings. It is their impartial love and compassion, generosity, morality, patience, joyous effort, concentration and wisdom that we are showing respect to. The statue or painting serves to remind us of the qualities of the Buddha, and it is the qualities, not the clay, that we are bowing to. We need not have a statue in front of us in order to bow to or respect the Buddhas and their qualities.

For example, if we go to a place far away from our family, we think about them and feel much love. But we also like to have a photo of them with us to remember them better. When we look at the photo and feel love for our family, we do not love the paper and ink of the photo! The photo merely strengthens our memory. I will relay it through an amusing tale which Francis Story relates in his “Dimensions of Buddhist Thought.” It brings out the essence of the subject at hand.

There is a story of a Christian missionary who found a Chinese priest chanting in a temple. When the Chinese had finished the missionary asked him ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ 

“To whom were you praying?” The Chinese looked faintly surprised. ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ 

“To no one,” he replied.

“Well, what were you praying for?” The Missionary insisted.

The Chinese in the story understood BuddhaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s explanation of life perfectly. In fact, the psychology meditation was an instrument of mental purification and nothing more. Indeed here the essence of Buddha’s deepest teachings is relayed.

There was a Statue but he was not praying to the statue, but the stature help concentrate as what internal peace one can get. Or else it was no “God” to pray to, and no “presents” to be gained from such a prayer, as there was no God who could give them. And no one was praying either, as the individual was momentarily changing and lacking a permanent “status quo,” hence lacking an abiding “soul.

The whole point here being: unlike the Muslims no one was kissing a stone or going round a rock which has fallen down from paradise.

It seems that Allah has created us and given each of us a soul. This soul has been infused into us. The rest of creatures have not received such a gift.

There is a place call paradise (or heaven to Christians) where all the good Muslims go. Sadly they unable to provide us, with the coordinates for this wonderful place.

As for the Buddhist there are going straight to hell. Good or bad does not matter as far as the Buddhists are concerned as unbelievers they end up in hell unto eternity.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  What about the people who were born before the prophet received his mission?

Obviously there had to be incest in the family as Adam and eve had to have sex with their sons and daughters to get their progeny going. In fact why did Allah allow such an incessful family to exist and procreate?

Even fairy tales which had been related us during our childhood has more logic going for it. If one believes in such tall tales then they will believe in any hogwash.

For contained and constricted borders arrest them from going on wars of aggression against unbelievers, which leaves them no option but to fall on each other like caged animals.

In this case we have to apply that good old Darwinian principle of ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”survival of the fittestƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ but with singular correction, ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”survival of the fittestƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ within the given borders.

So how does all this apply to the current Islamic status quo?

In the good old days these barbarians with crude beliefs fell on the tolerant BuddhistsƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ and massacred and took their land and started reproducing. That cannot happen today!

At this historic juncture nations of the world are organized. Each nation knows its place under the sun. Islamic nations had no alternative but to agree to a charter of nations (UN) which specifies each nationƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s borders and geography. To break an UN mandate and cross borders in the name of Allah or any other God would galvanize the global society to react in unison against any aggressor. What is more, the secure world has weapons of mass destruction and annihilation capabilities which they will unleash on the believers of the ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”religion of peaceƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ if they do not keep the peace.

Presently nations acting in the name of God have come up against a brick wall. Any nations that try to pounce upon a member nation of the U N in the name of God or Allah would be dealt with summarily by the UN body of nations. And the leaders of Islamic nations know its consequences. Indeed external aggression by holy warriors will be met head on by the secular powers. On the other hand knowledge is growing and information is instantly accessed.

The practical consequences of all what I have said above, is evident by whatƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s taking place in the Middle East as we speak,

When Mubarak took power 30 years ago there were just 30 million Egyptians but within the 30 yearƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s period that he held on to power, Egypt has become a nation of 80 million. Then Arab spring came and Islamic brotherhood in Egypt with Morsi at the helm road to power. And the creeping Islamic agenda by him made Egyptians see red! ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Finally he was ousted by the military.

As I write this (4th August) there are fears of backlash by the IslamistsƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢. Already more than 280 people have been killed in violence since MorsiƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s ouster. The bloodiest incident took place last week, when more than 80 pro-Morsi supporters were killed in clashes with police near the sit-in at Rabaah al-AdawiyaƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Mosque.

Looming Civil war is unavoidable for Egypt. If the Islamism wins there would be whole scale massacres of secular or the half believers of Islam

Soon Turkey would follow suit. Prime Minister Recep Tayyip ErdoƒÆ’-¾ƒ…‚¸anƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s slow Islamlisation has been well under way for the last ten years. And the oppression to his Islamic agenda is broad, encompassing bothƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ right– andƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ left-wing individuals.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The protesters’ complaints ranged from the original local environmental concerns to such issues as theƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ authoritarianismƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ of Prime Minister Curbs on alcohol,ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ a recent row about kissing in publicƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ and theƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ war in Syria.

I will predict that Turkey too may end in civil war with the army backing the secular forces.

All those countries where the believers dominate, this type of conflicts should eventually develop.

But if free thinking prevails in Egypt and Turkey then we have turned the tide.

Until Islamism’ get out their club mentality of ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”believersƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ and ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”unbelieversƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ there s bound be ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”bloodshed and civil war. It will be unlike bumping off tolerant and harmless Buddhist along the silk road of yester year!

The situation of mankind looks bleak, no water, no land, no trees, air is harmful to breath. While Buddhist, Christians and even the Hindus has stopped over production, the production machines of the believersƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ has gone into an over drive, as Allah wills it I suppose!

If freethinkers should help the secular forces win in Egypt and Turkey then, you can be certain, the world would become a healthier place.

Counties such as Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, should be pressured to go for a ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”One child per family ruleƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢. If they are to jump out of this vicious circle of poverty and ignorance hen they should follow chinaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s example.

Muslims should realize that, through reproduction they can never take over Sri Lanka. The Buddhist presently is unlike the Buddhist of Silk Road of the yester year. Tamil Catholics have learned that lesson.

Indeed we notice that Islamic nations are straining at the seams. We should see; more destabilizations, mass slaughter and carnage till they take control of this creed, which has emerged from the desert.
