Muralitharan ‘confronts’ David Cameron

PM Cameron, a keen cricket fan, took time off from the CHOGM‚ to play cricket. At the Colombo cricket‚ Ground,
Cameron‚ ‚ had met Murali while he was participating in the ‘Murali Charity Foundation’ which promotes cricket between the Sinhala and Tamil youth. Cameron is‚ an admirer of Murali as he had watched him bowl out one English team after another over the‚ years.

The press‚ had‚ later‚ asked Murali about the meeting. Murali had ‘bowled out’ Cameron as well by saying,”… He had been misled by other people. I go on and off to the North. I see from my eyes the improvement which had taken place… He is from England and he had visited this place only yesterday…Thanks to the army, they are putting a lot of effort there… When we started cricket in‚ the North‚ we did not have any grounds. In 2 months the army had put up five… In Sri Lanka the population is around 22 million and in the North there are not more than one million. And they are getting more attention than the South…”

When the press had asked PM Cameron for his comments on Murali’s remarks, he had said,”…I was told all sorts of things yesterday in the North and then‚ there are very strong views in the country… I would say what matters is not everything I was told but what I myself have said…”
It is well known that Cameron had been prompted by the Tamil diaspora, LTTE rump, the Global Tamil Forum, the British Tamil Forum‚ and so on, just before he visited Sri Lanka. Cameron had been misled by these groups over the Tamils in the North. The ‘tough’ questions which Cameron threatened to ask the President‚ never came up. In the meantime, the govt had categorically rejected the accusations and demands made by Cameron. So he will be going back depressed like Miliband in 2009. The Defence Secretary, Gotabhaya Rajapakse’s comments were, ‘Cameron thinks Sri Lanka is still a colony. The country can move forward without Premier Cameron’s help’.

“”what matters is not everything I was told, ~~~~~but what I myself have said “” Damning British UPSTART, from the Tamil Ghettos of London.

YES ! EVERYTHING THAT WAS TOLD TO YOU WAS THE TRUTH. IF YOU LISTEN TO THAT, YOUR VITAL ORGAN WILL BE CUT OFF BY THE TAMILS IN LONDON. SO PLAY SAFE. WHAT YOU YOURSELF HAVE SAID WAS IMPORTED BY YOU FROM THE TAMIL TERRORISTS LTTE DIASPORA GHETTOS. HANG ONTO IT. IT WILL GIVE YOU SELF PLEASURE.

Cameron knows very well the truth but that truth is NOT IN LINE with UK’s geopolitical interests – to weaken Asia, divide SL, stop China, maintain former DIVIDE AND RULE concept.

    We have not understood that.

As Shenali Waduge said elsewhere, let us NOT HAVE ANY Half-Hearted Solutions NOW! NONE but FULL-THROATED Complete Solutions!

    1. REPEAL the 13th Amendment
    2. DISMANTLE the Provincial Council System
    3. ELIMINATE Indian Involvement in Reconstruction & Rehabilitation efforts in the North & East
    4. REDUCE Indian Involvement and Investment in Sri Lanka’s economy
    5. END Military cooperation with India; they can’t and don’t help SRi Lanka with any weapons ANYWAY!
    6. SECURE Sri Lanka’s coastline with coast guard and naval bases within EYESIGHT of each other to protect Sri Lanka’s Maritime resources and PREVENT illegal immigration, gun running, and goods smuggling
    7. LAUNCH a thorough investigation of the CITIZENSHIP STATUS of the residents of Sri Lanka to IDENTIFY & DEPORT upto 1.6 MILLION ILLEGAL aliens from TAmil Nadu as indicated by the 2012 Census.
    8. ADOPT Ethnic Integration as National Policy with the goal of achieving a UNIFORM ETHNIC DISTRIBUTION nationwide, without REGIONAL ethno/religious concentrations.
    9. INCREASE the number of Armed Forces camps and Personnel in former LTTE-infected territories, PERMANENTLY SETTLE military personnel AND their FAMILIES in the North and East as part of Ethnic Integration, providing land, good hmes, schools, hospitals and other INFRASTRUCTURE to INCENTIVIZE PERMANENT SETTLEMENT by Sinhala people in these areas. In the Final Analysis, Ethnic Integration of this kind is the only permanent hope for peace and security of the people of Sri Lanka.

The END of CHOGM, and the CLEAR DISPLAY OF ENMITY by India, Tamil Nadu, and Western Nations with large Sri Lankan Eelamist Tamil Populations, has given the GOSL the PERFECT OPPORTUNITY to IMMEDIATELY IMPLEMENT the above 9-POINT PROGRAM in the National Interest.

    Carpe’ Diem! Seize the Day!

Cameron had lost the plot with respect to his trip to the CHOGM.He had embarrassed his followers and his party. I will be surprised if he will be the leader of his party by next March. He was misled over Sri Lanka just has he had been misled over Syria.

  5. Nimal Says:

Please don’t blame the former Colonials for ‘Divide and Rule’ As we are doing it without any help where the UNP rump is doing it well, when they invited the separatist sympathizers in to Sri Kotha during that vital time when the country was under attack form those foreigners. We are too soft on them. I would have stopped likes of Cameron going up North and Charged the Ch 4 crew for the crime of not paying for the taxi. Remanded them for a week or two. This could have happened in Canada or in any Western country and with a criminal record none of those reporters should ever be allowed an visa to enter the island. Then they will have some respect for the country.

Nationalist governing party ally holds British responsible for creating the ethnic conflict in Sri Lanka

    ColomboPage News Desk, Sri Lanka.

Nov 18, Colombo: An ally of Sri Lanka’s governing party, the Jathika Hela Urumaya (JHU) has accused the British for creating an ethnic conflict in the country.

Referring to the warning of an international inquiry against the country by British Prime Minister David Cameron, JHU General Secretary, Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka charged that the British Premier had no right to call for an international inquiry in violation of the sovereignty of a country.

He noted that such a move would also be in violation of the Commonwealth Charter.

The Minister observed that there was no Tamil or Eelam issue in the country when the British landed in Sri Lanka in 1796 and it was the British who created the ethnic conflict.

According to Ranawaka, the British administration should pay compensation to Sri Lanka for creating a Tamil issue that has resulted in the loss of many lives.
