Why The TNA Is Classified As Manipulative Albeit Blinkered Towards Realities That Stare Them In The Face !

This surely is proof that The Tamil National Alliance (TNA) classified in the eyes of many discerning analysts as none but a group of pseudo politicians whose modus operandi today includes innuendo, denial of harsh realities based purely upon their action as supporters of the Tamil tigers openly supporting their actions during the insurgency and fronting for them at every given opportunity, provable with tangible evidence and a fact of life within Sri Lanka by a greater proportion of the nation’s populace regardless of ethnicity .
When today they accuse the Government of Sri Lanka as ” having links with the LTTE by supporting former rebels and giving them government positions, they are craftily attempting to manipulate and create a situation that they assume will impact the world not realising that it is a ploy which will simply backfire on them.
However, to disillussion their objectives it needs to be emphasized while also educating them that the war over Tamil tiger terrorism was won to a greater part due to the roles of logistic information provided by the former rebels as well as their own consciousness of their infirmities who deserve acollades and have been justly rewarded by the Government for their collaboration which helped the Sri Lankan Armed Forces win an unprecedented victory over insurgents who threatened the Sovereignity and territorial integrity. A huge and unprecedented victory which probably impacts all of humanity.
This is not supporting the LTTE as the blinkered TNA seem to be infering through their infertile and whimsical rhetoric but simply paying just rewards and recognition where it is due towards former rebel leaders who joined forces with the Government to make Sri Lanka a better and safer place for all ethnicities. Perhaps the Armed Forces too need greater rewards for the role they played in liberating Sri Lanka from terrorists if there are any misgivings about who deserved the best!
There has never been a more manipulative and duplicitous individual than TNA leader R. Sampanthan relative to the role the TNA played as LTTE supportives based on their actions and on many occassions have been caught unguarded yet has the nerve to attempt turning the tables on the Government based on their own actions through reverse psychology perhaps where they must think the administration and the people of Sri Lanka are uninformed and ignorant of who the perpetrators of terrorism were and who really supported them, which is the furthest from the truth by way of accusations against the Government.
Tamil Nadu should make a significant note of this also, to allay the yappings of the likes of Karunanidhi, Jayalalith and Vaiko to name just a few who bark on the same likes as the TNA!!!
It also needs to be mentioned that it is such actions that have greatly contributed towards what certain world powers and leaders mistakenly believe as culpabilities on the part of Sri Lanka towards their vast witch hunt and calls for accountability where the attrocities of the LTTE seem to be circumvented by far in the attempt to discredit a Sovereign Nation’s legitimate attempt towards self preservation where today all ethnicities including minority Tamils live side by side with the majority Sinhalese and the other ethnicities who make Sri Lanka their home.
It really must take some brazenness on the part of TNA leader R. Sampanthan, speaking in Parliament, to insist that the TNA never supported the LTTE but merely looked to work with them to secure a political solution for the conflict while also thinking the Sri Lankan legislature must consist of bunch of ‘gullible fools’ as opposed to learned professional legislators and adjudicators where the cap to the contrary fits perfectly on the TNA and needs to be further embellished as orchestrators of innuendo and blatant lies where the salient truth is indelible.
If the Government has chosen to take into its confidence the likes of former rebels such as Karuna, Pillayan, Devananda , Kumaran Pathmanathan and others who have pledged support with the GOSL
and are now directly working with the Government it is a cause for admiration not derision and perhaps the TNA needs to make an example of it towards pledging their allegiance in similar vein towards the well being and smooth functioning of Sri Lanka which at the present is still in the category of a pipe dream based on the TNA’s primary objective which many believe is the resurrection of Tamil Eelam which by itself is another pipe dream which will in all probabilities never be realised! .

WITHIN this system there are NO solutions. We MUST think OUTSIDE this system to find solutions.

Glad to read the LANKAWEB EDITORIAL. It is fitting to know & let others know about TNA & LTTE relationship. In Sri Lankans laws, there are provisions to PUNISH inflaming racial tensions, ANTI – Lanka activities etc. So far no Govt. leader has even attempted to punish the wrong doers.
If one or two foul mouths are punished others will think twice before uttering RACIAL STATEMENTS, and continuous denunciation of Sri Lanka to the outside world.
We should treat some TAMILS, including TNA membership as ANTI – LANKA terrorists in lamb clothing. If the GOSL is immune to & afraid of what India might do, or the so called International would do, THEN we might as well be a SUBSERVIENT COUNTRY to the world community.
I strongly beleive that SRI LANKA should take the INITIATIVE to FORM UNITED NATIONS OF ASIA, and the head office should be in INDONESIA. If our people are aroused & explained the DANGER of being SILENT, we will never solve our own PROBLEMS becasue THERE IS NO TAMIL PROBLEM IN SRI LANKA. Our problems are the ones that need solutions & attention.

Having acquired their proto-Bantustan through the PC Elections, the Tiger Nominated Agents of the TNA are NOW performing a “10-Demand Watusi dance” within it.
We did warn the GOSL that empowering the TNA in the Northern Province will only lead to an UNENDING STREAM of DEMANDS leading to SEPARATION!
How is the GOSL going to stop these Anti-National Activities? Any Clue? Look at the 9-POINT PROGRAM I presented earlier!

Sri Lanka Tamil party protests inside Northern PC to win 10 demands

Dec 10, Colombo: Sri Lanka’s major Tamil political party, the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) has carried out a protest inside the Northern Provincial Council to win 10 demands.
Among the 10 demands was the need to address issues faced by displaced people in the resettlement process.
According to reports reaching Colombo from Jaffna the TNA members had carried placards with the 10 demands when the Council had commenced its sittings.
TNA member M.K. Sivajilingam had distributed the placards to party members before the sessions and thereafter all members had joined the protest.
Some of the demands that were written in the placards according to reports are to provide justice for the last battle genocide, disclose details of surrendered LTTE carders, resolve High Security Zone issue, missing persons issue, reduce the Military presence, stop Human Rights violations and stop destroying temples and buildings in the HSZ.

I have been saying loud and clear that all incumbent governments have been punishing sinhala buddhists only. They fear to take action against racist Tamils and Catholics. This statement is crystal clear with jailing of Sinhala Marikkar, Sarath Fonseka and S.B.Dissanayake. Sinhalayas are against Sinhalayas only. With all the LTTE affiliation of the TNA and Saibu Nana what action the GoSL took. Saibu Nana with Kumari’s suicide mission thriving with threats to the governing party. Saibu Nana and the Muslim law student intake is taking the governing party to ransom. Where is the other Saibu Nana with the oil contract hiding? If it is in a developed country these two Saiboos will be skinned alive.

I do not deny the fact that MR & Co did enough and more to please the minorities in the country and neglecting the glowing issues of the majority population. Their main intention is not to upset the west, Church and the filthy Indians. Thereby MR & Co neglected the majroty by giving priority to the Racist Tamils and the Church. Majority became the second to the minorities. When everybody (Sri Lankan born in Srilanka) do not consider as the Sri Lankans, this issue of racism will never go away. God save my mother Lanka.

“The Tamil National Alliance (TNA) has told Japanese Special Envoy Yasushi Akashi that it has given the government three months to find a solution to the existing national issue.
Akashi met with TNA delegates in Colombo last night (December 11) and held discussions for over two and a half hours.
The TNA threatened to stage protests if the government does not comply with their deadline. The TNA had also briefed Akashi on matters of resettlement during the discussions.
Yasushi Akashi stated that he had held long talks with President Mahinda Rajapaksa on the Northern Provincial Council while he also advised the TNA not act on hasty decisions.”

Sri Lanka GoSL must learn to barter for peace in the N&E as well with the rest of the island. If not complied with, none of the progressive ideas re Development, Education etc. should be put in place for those areas.
Non-compliance from leading politicos in any area should be met in return with ‘no help’ from GoSL, cut off funds etc. On the other hand, compliance toward peace resolution in all areas should be met with speedy help from GoSL. Non-compliance half way down the period in question should be again met with ‘no help’ and cutting of funds etc. reinstated by GoSL.
No one, TNA included, can have their cake and eat it too. The Vadukoddai Resolution must be publicly revoked by the Tamil leaders.
As for the REAL Tamil problem of Caste, it is in Tamil Nadu, not in Lanka. There is nothing Lanka can do about the REAL Tamil Problem as Lanka has no jurisdiction over TN or their leaders.
All other human problems common to all in Lanka can be carefully resolved over a period of time. There is quote that says : “Move in haste and repent at leisure”.
NB: UNHRC 2014 is a lemon out of which all Lankans ought to make a great lemon juice !

The only way any area in Lanka will understand that ‘United we Stand & Divided we Fall’ is for GoSL (and Parliament) to cut off help and funding to those areas till compliance toward peaceful resolution of problems is restored.

“The Co-ordinating Secretary of Prime Minister D.M. Jayaratne has tendered his resignation following allegations that he had issued a letter which was used to release a container with heroin from customs.
Following the reports surrounding his involvement in releasing the container which had heroin in it, Keerthi Sri Weerasinghe handed over his resignation letter to the Prime Minister on December 9.
However, Weerasinghe maintains that the allegations levelled against him are baseless and untrue.
In a statement issued today, he denied that he ever wrote a letter to the Customs exerting any pressure to release the container but claimed that he did write a letter, on the request of the Gampola politician, Tharanga Vittachchi, to the private company South Asia Gateway Terminals to seek relief on demurrages for a container of bathroom fittings and lubricants.
Vittachchi had approached Weerasinghe to seek help on releasing the container which belonged to two businessmen known to him. The businessmen also had to pay 2 ½ months of demurrages on the container after not being able to clear it at customs while they shared their concern that the demurrages will eventually amount to more than the value of the goods.
Weerasinghe stated that he only wrote a letter to the private company to which the demurrages had to be paid and not to Customs.
So he can escape investigations and punishment by just resigning?

Containerised cargo can be very deceptive. How is anyone to know what is in boxes and other containers inside the containerized cargo structure ? These days, people use body parts to hide contraband, drugs, etc. !
May be in future such acts of favor requested by people even known to govt. authorities ought not to be encouraged with letters of release for containerized cargo where goods are not visible ? At any rate, Customs have to examine every bit of the cargo before release – such are the times we live in.
I have read that most drugs enter Sri Lanka shipped from the Pakistan area.
These are Lessons Learnt at the ports of Colombo.

Dec 11, Colombo: Sri Lankan Prime Minister’s Coordinating Secretary Keerthi Weerasinghe who has allegedly issued a letter requesting a tax exception on a container that was found to contain the largest heroin haul in the country.
Weerasinghe has been removed from all positions he held at the Buddha Sasana Ministry, which comes under the Prime Minister’s authority, Buddha Sasana Ministry in a communiqué issued today announced.
Buddha Sasana Ministry said that Coordinating Secretary had acted on his own and sought neither instructions nor permission from the Prime Minister beforehand.
The Prime Minister D. M. Jayaratne came under intense pressure after it was discovered that the controversial letter to the Customs requesting a duty waiver has been issued by a secretary in PM’s office on an official letterhead.
A letter, dated August 23rd and signed by the Coordinating Secretary seeking the waiving off of import charges on the relevant container, had reportedly been sent from the Prime Minister’s office.
Ruling party coalition partner and Sinhala Buddhist party, Jathika Hela Urmaya (JHU) demanded the resignation or the arrest of the PM if he fails to take action against his staff and the extremist Buddhist organization Bodu Bala Sena also join in the demand for PM to resign.
Responding to the allegations, the Prime Minister’s office clarified that the letter was issued by a Prime Minister�s Coordinating Secretary in the Buddha Sasana Ministry and not by the Prime Minister’s Secretary.
At least 131 kilo grams of heroin hidden in cans packed into a container, which is supposedly contained lubricants and sent from the Pakistani port of Karachi, was seized on August 30th. Earlier reports said 260 kilo grams of heroin worth about 1.52 billion rupees were recovered from three containers.
Meanwhile issuing a separate communiqué,Weerasinghe stated that Gampola Town Council member Taranga Vittachchi is a close associate of the businessman who brought down the heroin container and the letter, addressed to South Asia Gateway Terminal, asking a duty waive for a container of bath room fittings, was issued at the request of the Council member, local private radio Hiru FM reported”.
