The suspect who was accused of allegedly stealing a laptop and few whisky bottles from Matara district Parliamentarian Mangala Samaraweera’s residence in Panadura yesterday said that the parliamentarian and his security guard have misled the police by making a false complaint to the Kesellwatte Police.
The suspect who was released on bail over the alleged burglary of a laptop and whisky bottles lodged a complaint at the police headquarters yesterday saying he had a homo – sexual relationship with Samaraweera and the items which are said to be stolen by him, were gifted to him by the parliamentarian.
According to Police spokeman SP Ajith Rohana, the male suspect in his complaint to the Police has said that he has had a sexual relationship with the parliamentarian since 2010.
The suspect had said that Parliamentarian Mangala Samaraweera should be held responsible for the damaged caused to his (suspect’s) family. He blamed his addiction to drugs on MP Samaraweera. “I am not gay but the parliamentarian made me a gay”, the suspect’s complaint stated.
The suspect has said the complaint against him was made by parliamentarian Mangala Samaraweera with the intention of distancing himself from him.
The suspect in his complaint said that his life is at stake at the hands of Parliamentarian Mangala Samaraweera and the latter’s supporters and requests the police to ensure his security.
“The lives of my wife, child and those who know the close relationship I had with the parliamentarian are in danger and I request the police to ensure our safety,” he said.
The suspect in his complaint said that he has had this unusual relationship with the parliamentarian for over 7 years and he was gifted an Apple 5S or 4S mobile phone, a note pad, a camera phone and many other items by the parliamentarian from time to time.

Homosexuality is a CRIME in SL, Russia, etc. and that’s how it should remain.
Man-gala’s homosexual activities were well known for the last 20 years!! He can’t go screwwing men. Where is the law?

We strongly recommend all UNP party members wear specially design guards. You take guard so you know where your stumps are when you are in your stance. This is important because if you know where your stumps are, you know what balls to play and what balls to leave when you are defending.
