American Dream

Tamil Tigers were defeated in SL in 2009. However, LTTE’s funding roots were established overseas with their masterminded international network of terrorism, gun-running, arms-smuggling, arms trading, money laundering, slave-trading, human trafficking, Human smuggling, credit/debit-card scams, passport/travel document scams, international shipping network vessels with varying flags,  tax evasion businesses, bank accounts with literally billions of US Dollars and media/publicity companies are well-established globally in every key western nation.

Sri Lanka continues to turn blind eye and ignore theses connections. After the physical war did not succeed, Tamil Eelam Tigers turned to their most dangerous weapons: Bankrupt Western politicians and NGO’s.

LTTE Diaspora donated handsomely to Western politicians’ election campaigns, gave them kickbacks under the table, tempted them with their voting power with hundreds of thousands, promised them large stakes of development business and resource exploitation if they help establish Tamil Eelam in SL.

LTTE fronts donated $50,000 to Amnesty International – Canada in the disguise of community fundraising walk in Toronto two years ago. More funding has been provided to CH-4 and AI recently.  Stay tuned for details soon.

This perfectly aligned with the new “minority” government political culture of the West, that can use LTTE Diaspora votes to stay in or come to power.  That can be realized through millions of Tamil tiger Diaspora votes in exchange of forcing Sri Lankan govt to ultimately secede the North and East of Sri Lanka to establish Tamil Eelam.

The West’s greedy but bankrupt politicians saw the opportunity, especially the US, Canada and the UK, who have established strong relationships with India as an ally to fend off China’s presence in the Indian Ocean.

Well, as this little island of ours have direct connection and presence of China in there from naval to maritime to economic and infrastructure investments. Chinese intelligence have fortified their presence in SL and its embassy has been actively involved with surveillance and reconnaissance missions in SL against Indian and US threats to the region’s stability as it resonates with China’s own interests in the region. US wants to bring its Pacific Command (USPAC) to Indian Ocean to destabilize Asian countres (yes, including India) using covert and overt operations as they succeeded in destroying the internal political stability of South America, Libya, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Sudan, Ukraine, .etc.However, China will try make it difficult for Yankees to succeed in Sri Lanka. Trincomalee harbour and tank farm, Hambantota and Galle harbours are strategic surveillance points for shipping lanes between Sri Lanka and Antarctica as there are no other land in between. This vastness of resources including natural gas and petroleum deposits, marine food resources and surveillance rights belonging to the sovereignty of Sri Lanka are huge stakes the US is trying to manipulate and exploit through India.

Sri Lanka has been naive enough to assume that after crushing LTTE’s leadership and its operations on SL soil spelled the end of its problems. They either forgot or ignored LTTE’s foreign funded networks working night and day trying to accomplish the goals of its  terminated leader.

Add to that the lousy, inexperienced, incompetent nincompoops appointed as SL’s diplomatic staff with poor English language skills in strategically important countries like the US, Canada, EU countries, etc.  With some exceptions as Dr. Chris Nonis in the UK, Dr. Palitha Kohona and Maj Gen Shavendra Silva at the UN, and our former Navy Commander in Australia. We lost the last straw of goodwill and diplomatic relations with the US since nepotism of SL leadership got Jaliya Wickramasooriya appointed as SL’s Ambassador for the US! His predecessor rendered an excellent service to SL by presenting the US legislators and senators with facts and demonstrating the real side of LTTE, during the last phase of the battle against Tamil Tigers. With Tamils for Obama defeating and Jaliya’s incompetencies in diplomatic field, we never regained the foothold we once had with the US. He was too busy promoting his private tea company business using SL government resources during his tenure as ambassador and siphoned off misappropriated funds US$ 650,000 new office building for SL Embassy in Washington DC. Add insult to the injury; he was then appointed to Canada as the new High Commissioner for SL, the country with the largest Tamil Tiger Diaspora of 400,000 that still raises and funds LTTE global activities. Canadian Govt did not approve his appointment due to recorded documentation of misappropriated diplomatic funds from IRA in the US.

Our External Affairs have never been at such a low ebb since GL Peiris’s appointment as its minister.

Some countries, whom we got down on our knees to beg to vote in favor of SL at Geneva’s UNHRC meeting, may decide to vote neutral, like last time. Last time we even celebrated that some countries voted for us, despite being defeated at the UN resolution vote. Haven’t we learned anything on strategy and planning ahead? GoSL seems to be sending messengers to all directions of the world to beg for more time and to drop idea of resolution. What can GoSL offer those corrupt world politicians to beat the lucrative benefits Tamil Tiger’s have and will offer them, in order to reverse their global lie-smearing and crafting “credible” evidence campaign?

Has GoSL discussed with China and other supportive nations about prosecuting the US for using Depleted Uranium Shells in Iraq, exposing civilians and US soldiers to lethal doses of ionizing radiation from DUS’s? Using radioactive elements in war is banned by the UN conventions and they reflect adverse long term implications worse than biological and chemical weapons. Why  did the world let the US and UK be immune to prosecution at International Criminal Court

SL depends on the western world for trading its products and services. If a UN resolution leads to economic sanctions until GoSL lets an “independent international investigation” AKA “pre-judged team of LTTE payroll earners” to establish the big fat lie of 40,000 civilians being killed during last stage of war, millions of average Sri Lankan people will be without employment and starve. SL’s opposition parties have accepted west’s payments to stay divided and split the votes even worse. There is no sense of patriotism in Sri Lankans anymore.  The top politicos and their relatives will have earned for generations by now.

One of the issues Colombo should bring up is the compensation from Donors who funded LITE. This has been done by Israel. First with the proof of such donors in India, to the West and then the demand that Sri Lanka be compensated for the crimes done by the LITE due to the donations they have received and continue to receive.

Secondly demand that all nations hosting LITE cannot participate in any human rights accusations against Sri Lanka and if they do it will not be recognized by Colombo. Sri Lanka has the backing of the Geneva conference on this issue. India is harboring TESO (Tamil Eelam Supporters Organization) and so is the UK, US, some European nations and Canada.

Outside of it being illegal it is categorically absurd that such nations can then pass judgement on just the last few months of the war while avoiding the litany of human rights violations done by the LITE and supported by India.

All pro-US clowns make fun of PUTIN now. Some want PUTIN killed. Others want SOCHI to fail hoping that will bring down Putin. Former KGB Putin should appoint his economic hitman Igor Sechin as his successor.

He is BETTER than Putin to say the least and a fantastic organizer. Putin’s biggest weakness is he is PUssy fooTINg some problems created by Americans.

Ukraine will be another Putin-Nobama showdown after Iran and Syria. IF Ukraine goes to join USA, Russia should nuke it and take over at least the EASTERN PART of it which is pro-Russian and has most resources.

Warna’s last two sentences have summarized it all. Last night I was watching on TV one idiotic UNP parliamentarian challenging the GOSL for a public debate on the charges brought in by our enemy, US. This traitorous party has already taken the side of our enemies instead of defending SL. If there are any sensible people left in that party they should take on GOSL at the forth coming elections instead of UNHCR which is focusing on war crimes against our military forces.

correction: “….should take on GOSL at the forth coming elections, on local issues instead of UNHCR……”

Agree with BW in that :

I might add that India was a puppet to Cold War Players during the Cold War years. I see Sri Lanka as a ‘victim’ to all the Players, before and after the Cold War. Neither the JVP or the LTTE would ‘go to it alone’. LTTE rode on the back of the Cold War and continues to ride the back of criminal money making rackets anywhere in the world.

  6. Nalliah Thayabharan Says:

During the Vietnam War, USA sprayed 20 million gallons of chemicals, including the very toxic Agent Orange, on the forests and farmlands of Vietnam and neighboring countries, deliberately destroying food supplies, shattering the jungle ecology, and ravaging the lives of hundreds of thousands of innocent people. Vietnam estimates that as a result of the decade-long chemical attack, 400,000 people were killed or maimed, 500,000 babies have been born with birth defects, and 2 million have suffered from cancer or other illnesses. In 2012, the Red Cross estimated that one million people in Vietnam have disabilities or health problems related to Agent Orange.White phosphorus is a horrific incendiary chemical weapon that melts human flesh right down to the bone. In 2009, multiple human rights groups, including Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, and International Red Cross reported that the Israeli government was attacking civilians in their own country with chemical weapons. An Amnesty International team claimed to find “indisputable evidence of the widespread use of white phosphorus” as a weapon in densely-populated civilian areas. The Israeli military denied the allegations at first, but eventually admitted they were true.
After the string of allegations by these NGOs, the Israeli military even hit a UN headquarters(!) in Gaza with a chemical attack. How do you think all this evidence compares to the case against Syria? Why didn’t Obama try to bomb Israel?
In 2004, journalists embedded with the U.S. military in Iraq began reporting the use of white phosphorus in Fallujah against Iraqi insurgents. First the military lied and said that it was only using white phosphorus to create smokescreens or illuminate targets. Then it admitted to using the volatile chemical as an incendiary weapon. At the time, Italian television broadcaster RAI aired a documentary entitled, “Fallujah, The Hidden Massacre,” including grim video footage and photographs, as well as eyewitness interviews with Fallujah residents and U.S. soldiers revealing how the U.S. government indiscriminately rained white chemical fire down on the Iraqi city and melted women and children to death.
CIA records now prove that Washington knew Saddam Hussein was using chemical weapons (including sarin, nerve gas, and mustard gas) in the Iran-Iraq War, yet continued to pour intelligence into the hands of the Iraqi military, informing Hussein of Iranian troop movements while knowing that he would be using the information to launch chemical attacks. At one point in early 1988, Washington warned Hussein of an Iranian troop movement that would have ended the war in a decisive defeat for the Iraqi government. By March an emboldened Hussein with new friends in Washington struck a Kurdish village occupied by Iranian troops with multiple chemical agents, killing as many as 5,000 people and injuring as many as 10,000 more, most of them civilians. Thousands more died in the following years from complications, diseases, and birth defects.
In Iraq, the U.S. military has littered the environment with thousands of tons of munitions made from depleted uranium, a toxic and radioactive nuclear waste product. As a result, more than half of babies born in Fallujah from 2007 – 2010 were born with birth defects. Some of these defects have never been seen before outside of textbooks with photos of babies born near nuclear tests in the Pacific. Cancer and infant mortality have also seen a dramatic rise in Iraq. According to Christopher Busby, the Scientific Secretary of the European Committee on Radiation Risk, “These are weapons which have absolutely destroyed the genetic integrity of the population of Iraq.” After authoring two of four reports published in 2012 on the health crisis in Iraq, Busby described Fallujah as having, “the highest rate of genetic damage in any population ever studied.”
Napalm is a sticky and highly flammable gel which has been used as a weapon of terror by the U.S. military. In 1980, the UN declared the use of napalm on swaths of civilian population a war crime. That’s exactly what the U.S. military did in World War II, dropping enough napalm in one bombing raid on Tokyo to burn 100,000 people to death, injure a million more, and leave a million without homes in the single deadliest air raid of World War II.
Although nuclear bombs may not be considered chemical weapons, I believe we can agree they belong to the same category. They certainly disperse an awful lot of deadly radioactive chemicals. They are every bit as horrifying as chemical weapons if not more, and by their very nature, suitable for only one purpose: wiping out an entire city full of civilians. It seems odd that the only regime to ever use one of these weapons of terror on other human beings has busied itself with the pretense of keeping the world safe from dangerous weapons in the hands of dangerous governments.
