To:
 Hon Julie Bishop MP
Foreign Minister of Australia
Australian Parliament ,
Canberra.
Dear Ms. Bishop,
Once again words truly fail to express the thanks and gratitude that all Sri Lankans feel towards you for the sentiments you expressed at the above event, to ” engage with Sri Lanka  rather than isolate it”. We are further grateful beyond words for having expressed  these same sentiments on Sri Lanka , many times before , especially since your visit to Sri Lanka with the Australian Parliamentary delegation in March 2013.
We truly appreciate you questioning allegations of  HR violations & disappearances  when expressed to you with calls for specific examples  to back up such allegations and revealing as you did after your visit in March 2013, that at best what  was forthcoming  related to events before the end of the war in May 2009.This at least raises the possibility of Tiger culpability to these allegations. When questioned regarding the Human Rights watch claims of disappearances , you again  revealed that despite repeated requests no specific instances were forthcoming.
If only some of the other leaders visiting the north who were greeted with these same allegation were discerning like you & questioned such allegations in the same manner you did the  popular perceptions of the veracity and implications of these allegations would be different now.
A further  glaring injustice  that is never questioned is how Adel Balasingham , the nurse who openly sent many many minors to their death with a cyanide capsule round their neck and the Tiger Diaspora who funded three decades of terror in Sri Lanka  now renamed Global Tamil Forum , Transnational Government of Tamil Elam, etc are permitted a charmed and unquestioned  residency in  UK  and even greeted to the premises of the UK House of Commons annually in March for celebration of their inauguration. These are issues which an unbiased international community is  duty bound to explore.
Once again, our heartfelt thanks for the sentiments you expressed  and hopefully continue to express.
Yours Sincerely,
Dr. Chula Rajapakse MNZM
Spokesperson,
United Sri Lanka Association,
New Zealand.

Thank you Dr. Chula Rajapaksha… for taking the time to keep everyone both nationally & internationally apprised of Ms. Julie Bishops sentiments about Sri Lanka. Very rarely we see any country come to help, support in the diplomatic issues, like the Australians.

We too help Australia in their effort to limit immigration of Economic immigrants illegally enter Australia, with sad stories about Sri Lanka, which are false. I wish Canada, USA, UK , EU & India realize in STILL supporting LTTE & their sister organizations are de-stablizing Sri Lanka.

ONLY one concern I have as many Sri Lankans do, is WHY AUSTRALIA has NOT yet proscribed LTTE as TERROR organization which most EU, Canada, UK, USA & India have done. By allowing Tamil groups to FUND RAISE in Australia is the way LTTE & their sympathizers STILL do their utmost to project a bad image of Sri Lanka to the outside world.

I you can please remind Ms.Julie Bishop of our concerns that LTTE is still free to fund raise to carry out a campaign against Sri Lanka from Australian soil….Thank ou again & thanks to Ms. Julie bishop too…….J
